THE DIVINE MESSAGE – THE NEW HORIZON
THE NEW AFRICA: THE NEW HORIZON
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY & MANIFESTO
A New Africa is born. ‘AFRICA MY PEOPLE’ is the vision and mission behind the New Africa.
Africa seething in agony, drained by poverty, backwardness, disease, violence, and wars is at the threshold of a new vision of herself. She is about to witness transformation and works that will make real the Divine vision of a New Africa.
The New Africa vision will demand great changes in the spiritual, political, and religious gates, even as she endeavors to usher in economic, social, and cultural advancement. It is God’s desire that Africa seek for spirit, power, and faith in Him and His vision, will, and plans for the continent.
If this is acceptable to Africa, the old order –
- Spiritual Order of gods and goddess, blood sacrifice, sorcery, and witchcraft, etc
- Political Order of confusion, exploitation, oppression, wickedness, violence, wars, and blood,
- Religious Order of captivity to Satan, idolatry, and cults
Will change to a new order of Africa of one people, one God, one faith, one destiny bound by One Hope and Unity in peace, righteousness, justice, joy, progress, and prosperity in the worship, knowledge, and hand of the Most High God. The New Africa will rise and raise apostles, prophets, leaders, teachers, and scientist for a new world order of the commonality, progress, and glory of the human race under the Most High God.
There will be fresh and dynamic collaboration of churches, governments, chiefs, and people for building and establishing the New Africa vision and mission. The vision and mission of the New Africa has been assigned specifically as a commission to Bro. Enoch Immanuel A. Agbozo, leader of Enoch Missions, a world missionary outreach movement. Enoch Missions launched the Africa Redemption Mission November 1992 for this purpose, under the theme is ‘Africa is Free.’
The Africa Day Worship Service 2010 is the 14th in the series conducted by the mission.
Praise ye the Lord. Behold, The New Africa.
THEME: BEHOLD THE NEW AFRICA
PREAMBLE
Praise ye the Lord! Peace be unto you!
Thanks be to God for this great assembly of diplomats, clergy, and chiefs; saints, Africanists, and all peoples of Africa and the nations. This is a Holy Gathering unto the Most High God for His Goodness, Mercy, and Providence towards the Peoples and Nations of Africa.
First, may I seize this opportunity to express my personal appreciation and deep thanks unto the Lord God Most High for the grace of the response and august presence of our special guests, dignitaries, and nobles; the achievers, active players, and faithful; and the believing youth and children hopeful of a New Africa and a blessed future for the human race. May God bless you all. Amen!
As can be easily fathomed, the woes, sorrows, pains, and helplessness of the people of Africa—as well as the suffering and oppressed peoples of the world—are a matter of Divine Misfortune, Human Tragedy and a Gaping Hole, indeed a mighty gulf in the tapestry of life, after the spirit, mind, knowledge, and wisdom of man.
Of course, we are not oblivious of the ‘intractables’ of Satan power—his rebellion machine of deception, strife, confusion, robbery, murder, and destruction that has held many peoples and nations helpless in captivity for centuries. But most important still, there is the Set Order of Divine Wrath and Judgement on Satan, man, and the rest of creation. All creation is set in pain and agony, yet in hope of redemption and liberty.
The interaction and combined effect of Divine wrath and judgment, satanic deception, destruction, human tragedy, and weakness in nature has created an environment of darkness and death, uncertainties, and futility what we describe simply as the political economy of darkness and death. All is brutish, foolish, futile and vain. Fallen man strives but in vain to overcome his own weakness and the powers of darkness; the struggle for human redemption, life, and liberty and the conquest of nature stands high as an unconquerable mountain.
It goes without saying that no spirit or power—no knowledge, wisdom, or hand—can lift Africa and the human race and nature as a whole out of this pit. The truth is that Satan, man, and nature have all been held captive and rendered impotent by the Divine judgment pronounced at the beginning. Only God the Creator can disentangle the curse and resolve the issue. This He has done, has shown He can do and promise He will do through the remission of sin, the healing, and creating of things anew, and by setting in place a New Order of His Peace, Righteousness, Justice, Goodness, Mercy and Full Providence.
Indeed, as affirmed in the Holy Scriptures—particularly by the Prophet Isaiah—God has set His mind to make all things new in the Gentile world and the world as a whole by His elect one, Jesus Christ (Isaiah 42: 1-10; 65: 17), by whom also He will judge the whole world (Act 17: 31; Matthew 25: 32; John 5: 22). The ultimate plan of the Most High to end the ‘political economy of darkness and death’—and put paid to the order of rebellion, disobedience, darkness, death, the wrath and judgment of God is to create a New Heaven and a New Earth. ‘Behold I make all things new’ is the declaration. (Revelation 21: 5)
It is clear in this regard that as Jesus Christ is the Word, Divine Spirit and Power behind creation, He also is the Spirit and Power of salvation, reconciliation, redemption, and restoration, and ultimately for the creation and setting in place the New World, the New Heaven and the New Earth (Colossians 1: 16-20). By Christ, creation confused, dismembered, and broken can be re-ordered, healed, transformed, and restored to glory and/or created anew.
People of Africa, the significance of our Annual Holy Assembly of Africa in worship is to celebrate Africa’s hope in God, as well as to honor, draw upon, and set in place the reconciliation, salvation, healing, redemption, restoration, and creative Spirit-Power of Jesus Christ upon the affairs of the continent. Both man and beast, air and matter will rejoice in victory and hope. Hallelujah!
We describe this phenomenon—which shall entail the acknowledgment, honor, worship, and drawing upon the Spirit, Authority, Power, Mighty Works, and Hand of Jesus Christ for Africa—as a New Horizon in Africa’s affairs. For example, in Isaiah 19:20-22, the Spirit of the Lord envisions a time when Africa will cry out because of oppression, and the Most High God shall send a Saviour and a Mighty One to deliver and bring healing to Africa. As a result, Africa will come to know and worship the God of Israel—Jehovah the Creator—with understanding, zeal, and joy.
This will usher in a New Era of spiritual and social order, after the Spirit-Power, Mind and Desires of God the Creator, and even as directed by Jesus Christ the Son, Saviour, and Redeemer.
INTRODUCTION
The theme for this year’s Celebration of God and Africa is: BEHOLD THE NEW AFRICA.
Africa—seething in agony, drained by poverty, backwardness, disease, violence, and wars—is at the threshold of a new vision of herself, transformation, and abiding works that will make real the Divine vision of A New Africa: The People of God.
The vision of the New Africa will demand changes in three major realms in Africa’s affairs, namely, The Spiritual, The Political, and The Religious. The economic, social, and cultural changes that will inevitably emerge will be but a reflection of the changes in the three major realms of spirit, power, and faith. Unfortunately, most efforts have dwelt on the material basis and physical existence. It is true to say that the vision of a New Africa and the connected inevitable changes in the spiritual, political, and religious order will create a New People after God for Africa. “Africa My People” is the vision and mission declared by the Most High God Himself for Africa (Isaiah 19: 25).
It is this heavenly vision and mission of A New Africa, that the Spirit of the Lord will have us bring to the attention, knowledge, and understanding of the Church, Governments, Nations, and People of Africa in this year’s Africa Day Worship Service, hence, the theme: Behold the New Africa. The New Africa is a Divine proposition and—not that of Satan nor man. It shall and will only spring up, flourish, and prosper in the Hand of God the Creator.
It is God’s desire and expectation that Africa will accept and honor Him the Creator for the vision of the New Africa. This is His will and eternal plans concerning Africa. If it is accepted, Africa will enter into a totally new horizon of greatness and glory. Amen! We have, therefore, given the Divine message we bring today the title: A NEW HORIZON.
The story is that Africa is entering a new horizon of church, governments, and people having a new vision for Africa. It is a vision of the coming together of nations and peoples with common understanding, aspiration, and hope as one people of God and under God. Africa the people of God in common with Israel as well as the Arab nations—is the new horizon in Africa’s affairs.
Before considering events of the New Horizon, let us briefly visit the present state of affairs of Africa under the ‘Satan and man order.’
- The Spiritual State: This is an of gods and goddesses, deities and demons, dictating and controlling Africa’s affairs in the spiritual realms, with Africa’s peoples striving, indulging in and treating idolatry, charms, sorcery, witchcraft, blood sacrifices, and ritual murders as basis of political, cultural, religious, and social processes. Violence, bloodshed, wars, economic distress, and social desolation is, has been, and indeed will be the inevitable outcome of the current spiritual order.
- The Political Order: This is an order of confusion, exploitation, and oppression built upon Satanic and demonic powers causing a state of instability, uncertainty, and distress characterized by family feuds, ethnic disputes, wars, corrupt, immoral, and wicked practices, the abuse of power and trust, the deliberate wicked and oppressive exercise of state, government, and often political party and peoples power. Blood drinking, ‘blood bound’ leaders, rulers, and governors are themselves captives of Satan, the archenemy of both God and man.
- Religious Order of Satanism: Religious, social, and cultural abuse, exploitation, and oppression are rampant in religious orders and cults across Africa. Conflicts and indulgence in curses and abominable practices where Satan, demons, and men hold men and creation in prison and captivity is the order. Incantations and curses are the pillars of culture in Africa.
This has been the state of affairs that provoked Divine Wrath, Judgment, and Curses as revealed through the Prophet Isaiah (Chapter 19). Political confusion, instability, and wars—peoples, tribes, cities, and kingdoms in conflict and perpetually at war with each other, disrupted economic performance, consequent stagnation, poverty, and social distress is the social reality. This state of affairs, the chiefs, governments, and peoples of Africa have not been able to arrest for centuries. Consequently, peace, stability, development, and progress have accordingly become an unassailable mountain in Africa.
Post-independence Africa has not escaped the Divine wrath and judgment, and even more so Satanic exploitation, oppression, and destruction. Our people are offering blood to spirits in the sea, rivers, forests, mountains, stones, and rocks. Wars are rising up everywhere while we labor along in distress, seeking foreign aid in the form of food, water, clothing, ideas, finance, and technology.
These are issues that academic attainment, economic development, technological advancement, material progress, and physical comfort cannot take care of. Blood, violence, and war will always take their toll where unrighteous, unjust, and wicked governance is the prevailing spirit. Satan cannot but demand blood and worship in dark alleys, and fallen, wicked man relishes political power abuse and indifferent and disruptive morality.
There can be one-man dictatorship, majority dictatorship, or political party dictatorship with ethnic undertones—al buttressed by satanic power—even within a so-called ‘democratic order.’ Africa needs change, deep changes in the Spiritual, Political, and Religio-Cultural realms.
This is what the Christ (Messianic) mission is all about.
THE NEW AFRICA
The heavenly vision and mission of Africa for God is essentially part of the general Divine vision and mission of a ‘New Thing’ in the Gentile nations and His kingdom order on earth. This can be found clearly in the Christ reconciliation, deliverance, and Messianic kingdom order, with His government, reign, and rule of the world. Christ brings new spiritual, political, and religious orders from heaven on to the earth.
As can be found in Isaiah 19 and Psalm 68, the Lord God of Hosts has special vision, with its burdens and plans for Africa. The special concern and vision for Africa has been revealed and made known to many saints and churches on the continent over the years. We of Enoch Missions have been privileged with a special commission towards the New Africa. The commission is concerned with the reconciliation, deliverance, redemption, restoration, and establishment of Africa in the God Kingdom order on earth via the Christ (Messianic) government and kingdom order.
The Africa Redemption Mission (ARM) with theme ‘AFRICA IS FREE’ is the special New Africa mission project. It was launched in November 1992. The ARM project is an offshoot of God’s vision and mission to deliver, set free, heal, redeem, and restore glory to man in His kingdom glory order on earth. God is out to set Africa free—to rebuild and establish Africa as ‘MY PEOPLE’ (Isaiah 19: 25) on lines such as prevailed in Israel in the David-Solomon era. The Queen of Sheba from Africa went to view the glory thereof, she was overwhelmed. Africa herself now enters into such glory in the Arms of the Lord God Jehovah. Hallelujah!
The NEW AFRICA is the Africa where the tribes, peoples, the nations, and governments of Africa shall consider themselves as one people under one god—banded and enjoined in building and establishing the nations compact together as one people, with common understanding, common aspirations, and the pursuit of common goals and destiny in the knowledge and honor of the One God—God the Creator and Father of Jesus Christ. The old order must be totally changed.
“Hear, O Israel (Africa): The Lord our God is one Lord:” (Deut. 6: 4 KJV) shall be the spirit, understanding and life in The New Africa.
THE NEW HORIZON
Let us examine briefly the likely nature, features, and possible prevailing events of The New Africa.
We will leave here the changes that must occur at the spiritual, political, and religious gates as well as the consequent new spiritual and social order that may emerge and prevail. We will focus however on the spirit- and mind-set and events that may mark The New Africa by reference to the scripture given to support the theme for the service: Psalm 68: 31-34
Psalm 68 opens with a vision of spiritual warfare and kingdom battles necessary to establish the new order: “Let God Arise, Let His Enemies Be Scattered: Let them also that hate Him flee from His Presence. (Psalm 68: 1). The Psalm also gives a vision of God rising up against the enemies of Africa, and the rebuke of spearmen, signifying the end of violence and war in Africa. It ends on a note of victory and assurance of His people, declaring: “O God, thou art terrible out of Thy holy places: the God of Israel is He that giveth strength and power unto His people. Blessed be God.” (Psalm 68: 35 KJV). Africa has hope here.
Verses 31-34 specifically underscore the New Horizon of the spiritual and social order, as well as the spirit-and mind-set, conduct, and life in the New Africa. The scriptures envisage nations and peoples of Africa agreeing and uniting as one people under God and His Kingdom on earth, with blessed leadership and new standards of the worship of God, religion, governance, management, conduct, and life ordered in the knowledge and fear, worship, and trust in God. There will arise:
- Apostles and Prophets of Africa to the World
‘Princes shall come out of Egypt’ (Psalm 68:31)
Africa shall raise apostles, prophets, leaders, and peoples of faith and knowledge of God, to serve as Ambassadors of God to the bewildered, perishing, and forsaken world. Africa—once again in the frontiers of statecraft, knowledge, wisdom, and technology, but this time through faith in God is the forthcoming reality.
- The Worship of God
‘Ethiopia shall soon stretch out her hand unto God’ (Psalm 68:31)
Africa shall raise and establish holy standards, beauty, majesty, and excellence in the Worship and Service of God. The salvation and redemption experience will create new spirit and standards of faith, worship, and joy in the Lord (Isaiah 19: 19-21). The Spirit of worship creates a spirit and Standard of Sacrifice for nations—breeding righteousness, faithfulness, hard work, honesty, and loyalty in conduct, endeavors, and life.
- The Kingdoms of Africa Turned Over unto God
‘Sing unto God, ye kingdoms of the earth’ (Psalm 68:32)
The spiritual and social order, governance, management, the reigning, and ruling spirits, powers, systems, and dominions in Africa will be turned over unto the worship, reign, and rule of God Almighty. The Law and Light, Commandments and Way of God shall be the new order; Righteousness shall explode and flourish. The old order of Satanic power domination, oppression, and control will give way to Heavenly Kingdom Order, Peace, Righteousness, and Glory in which Jesus Christ—the Elect One, Saviour, and Mighty One will establish a new spiritual and social order, government, and kingdom order in His reign and rule of the earth. Africa will exude a new spirit and aura of Divine Kingdom Order and Glory. And peace, and the knowledge and glory of God will cover Africa as the waters cover the sea.
This is how the Spirit of God describes the new horizon:
Sing unto God ye kingdoms of Africa.
O sing praises unto the Lord.
Ascribe ye strength unto God.
His excellency is over (Africa), and His strength is in the clouds.
No spirit, no power can assail the God of Africa.
CONCLUSION
The heavenly vision of the New Africa is pregnant with great changes in the spiritual realms, as well as great possibilities in the practical social arena. The New Africa of one people, one God, one faith, and one destiny shall be the design and charge of Jesus Christ and His government and kingdom order (Isaiah 9: 6-7). His reign and rule shall rise and flourish (Revelation 11: 15).
As can be observed, the New Africa is in fact a totally new creation of God, even though it may depict similarities of Biblical Israel as People of God united in the worship, service, knowledge, trust, and hope in God the Creator in the nation’s affairs. Africa shall emerge as a continent of nations and peoples established in the Divine order of peace, righteousness, justice, liberty, security, with progress, and prosperity emanating from and embedded in the goodness, mercy, and providence of God, the Creator and Christ’s government and kingdom order. God’s reign and rule on earth shall be the new spiritual order as well as social reality. Blessed is the nation whose God is Jehovah.
Blessed people of Africa, we have every assurance that the great ‘I AM THAT I AM GOD,’ having revealed His intention and vision for Africa will bring it to pass. Of course, Christ Jesus, the Elect One, Saviour, Redeemer, Mighty God and Prince of Peace—has won the victory and taken over all authority and power in the spiritual realms already. It is He that has gathered and is gathering the Church, Governments, and Peoples of Africa for the good news of victory, redemption, and restoration, and peace, righteousness, justice, freedom, liberty, progress, prosperity, and glory for Africa.
The vision of the New Africa will usher in an environment of peace, joy, and hope—and create a spirit-and mind-set of Holiness unto God for the Church, governments, nations, and peoples of Africa. Further, the salvation, deliverance, and redemption experience inherent in the vision will release spirits and create a new horizon of Worship, Joy, Faith, Love, and Hope in God and explosion in the Knowledge, Light, and Way of God.
The Church and peoples of Africa shall raise apostles, prophets, and frontier men and women in leadership, knowledge, wisdom, and faith as ambassadors of God to the world. We have one such frontier personality here, Daasebre Oti Boateng, our Guest Speaker.
This is why we rejoice in hope for Africa at the annual AFRICA DAY WORSHIP SERVICE. The Spirit of the Lord directs the joyful worship of God in Africa saying:
“Sing unto God, sing praises to His name: extol Him that rideth upon the heavens by His name JAH, and rejoice before Him.” (Psalm 68: 4 KJV)
Praise ye the Lord!
BEHOLD, THE NEW AFRICA!
Amen.
Princes shall come out of Egypt; Ethiopia shall soon stretch out her hands unto God. Sing unto God, ye kingdoms of the earth; O sing praises unto the Lord; Selah: To Him that rideth upon the heavens of heavens, which were of old; lo, He doth send out His voice, and that a mighty voice. Ascribe ye strength unto God: His excellency is over Israel, and His strength is in the clouds. (Psalm 68: 31-34 KJV).
“Blessed be Egypt (Africa) My people”
