THEME: THE PERIL OF “GODLESS INDEPENDENCE” AND THE RESTORATION OF DIVINE ORDER IN NATIONAL STEWARDSHIP 

Blessed be the Most High God, who has bestowed upon humanity great, effectual, and everlasting life, peace, righteousness, liberty, joy, and hope in Jesus Christ, the Son of the Living God, given to all peoples, all nations. 

In His bid to deliver Africa and the human race from satanic captivity, oppression, domination, control, poverty, and non-progress, the Most High God has chosen Ghana—a small country on the borders of Africa—for His mighty works of reconciliation, deliverance, redemption, and restoration of glory under His Mighty Hand, reign, and rule in Africa and the world. As a result, God has raised Ghana to shine as a Star of Hope for Freedom and Liberty, Peace, Righteousness, Justice, Joy, and Glory in His Kingdom on earth, in Africa, and the world. 

Essentially, Divine works and standard of conduct are in the spirit.  They manifest in the physical and human planes in diverse ways. Thus, except there be revelation, information, knowledge, and direction, these Divine works are not easily discernible. People take things for granted. Often, Satan and wicked men try to take advantage of the ignorance of the ways of God in the world to either establish their own righteousness and morality in the name of God, or deceive, seduce, rob, kill, and destroy people in the rejection and substitution of the Light, Truth, and Way of God with wicked manipulation or extortion of rights, privileges, and liberty in God. Men have gone out to establish their own standards of conduct and lifestyle thereby rejecting the light and way of God.   For that of dearth, many tribes, peoples, and nations establish diverse kinds of norms and practices for safety and life security. 

Unfortunately, what independent and self-government have created is the Breakdown of Law and Order, Righteousness, and Justice and brought instead, the rejection of God, disrespect in the regulations, rules, order, godliness, and orderly conduct. 

The Spirit of Agitation and Civil Disobedience that erupted and flourished during colonial emancipation was not properly managed and redirected into the promotion of Positive Virtues, sound conduct, and sound management of dissent, social or public approbation, law and order, and Public Good. Independent and self-government—much like Biblical Eve-Adam—seeking for freedom, liberty, and independence from Divine connection. By rejecting the order, law, commandments, and conduct in the knowledge of God, has led to sin and death, spiritual darkness, and war between Satan and man leading to human defeat and captivity, the perpetuation of satanic deception, exploitation, oppression, dominion, and control. This establishes a ‘state of godliness.’ 

That is to say, Grace (Liberty) must be based on and buttressed by the knowledge of God—Truth, Righteousness, Justice, Orderly Conduct, and Godliness. Independence and self-governance are neither an excuse or license for the breakdown of law and order, orderly conduct, and godliness and the promotion of poor sanitation, poor public health, and filthy environment. 

The Grace and liberty inherent in salvation in Christ, the knowledge of God, the Scriptures, and the Christian faith, expound—and in fact, demand—a higher standard of stewardship over the physical and social world.
