THEME: SPIRITUAL DISCERNMENT OF NATIONAL ELECTIONS AND THE REJECTION OF THE SATAN-MAN ORDER 

Praise ye the Lord O people of Ghana/Africa! 

From the time of creation, the Voice of God that set creation in motion has ruled creation. God has held creation intact by the Word of His mouth.  By the Voice of God man given power as Vassal of God on earth—was given a choice between life and death. To live or to die, to enjoy everlasting life or suffer everlasting damnation: this was the proposition. 

That is to say, the choice before man was between life and death, joy and sorrow, sadness and hope, peace and war, beauty and ugliness, permanence and corruptibility, decay and futility.  Adam and Eve chose to die and perish. Their choice affected the human race, giving death and Satan, decay and destruction place, space, and power in the lives and affairs of men. “Owuo sei fie”—the grave swallows up men in ceaseless laughter. The choice has remained with man ever since.  Now, decision emanates from the soul-spirit of man. It passes through the heart and finds expression in the mouth. Therefore, we live, die, and perish by the choice of our hearts and declaration of our mouths.  Hence, the Bible affirms that Life and death lie in the power of the tongue. 

By that token, man—created in the image of God and made vassal of God on earth has gotten power to build, establish, and set things in motion by the decision of the heart and declaration of the mouth. Christians know that both the old man after Adam and Eve, and the new man after Jesus Christ have right of decision and declaration, creation and destruction, the establishment and dismantling of families, tribes, nations, empires, and kingdoms. 

It goes without saying that, though it is the Voice (or Word) of God that is the power that holds and controls creation in her set order, man—by virtue of power, position, and function granted him—can build and establish, or burn and destroy life, nations, and kingdoms.  It is for this reason, if for nothing else, it can be said that: ‘The Voice of the People is the Voice of God.’  Man serves as the vassal of God on the earth; he can build and establish, or burn and destroy by Divine will, choice, and declarations. However, he can also be ‘god’ unto himself, serve and pursue his own desires and pleasure. 

It must be observed, nevertheless, that the voice of man is not always—and cannot be—the same as the Voice of God, the True and Living God in human affairs. Apart from the fact that man has mortgaged his position, power, and authority as vassal of God on earth to Satan and has gone ahead to collaborate with Satan to establish a ‘Satan-man kingdom’ and world order distinct and different from the will, heave ordained order and Kingdom of God on earth, God has not abandoned His Throne and Dominion over the earth. The true Voice of God roars everywhere in nature.  The Voice (word) of God stands clear, open, and determinate in the life and circumstances of men, peoples, and nations, in death and decay, destruction and fall of nations, civilizations, empires and kingdoms.  There is this one truth, the voice of man has not spirit-power behind it to establish permanent and everlasting order. only the true Voice of God has such inherent authority and power to do so. 

The Word of God declared that ‘the soul that sins shall die’ stands irrevocable. Only the resurrection Spirit and Power of Jesus Christ, Son of God can reverse things.  Christ has come to save man from sin and death, to reconcile the world with God, deliver and redeem the world from the Satan-man order, and establish all creation back in proper standing in the Kingdom of God on earth. In the ultimate, Christ has come to create a new man, re-affirm the Kingdom of God on earth, and create a New Heaven and a New Earth under One God and One Kingdom. 

This new phenomenon of Satan-man kingdom order running side by side with God Kingdom Order in the nations and the world order has not only created a new state of choice between Satan-man rebellion disobedience kingdom order and the man-god Kingdom order. In that respect, the voice of man (the people) can either be that of Satan-man kingdom order or the God-Christ Kingdom order. Christ is the basis and hope of the new man created in Him. Thus, in the affairs of the political economy, laws, statutes, culture, and conduct in nations, the voice of man (people) in authority, society, tribes, of villages, towns, cities, and nations can either originate from Satan-man or the man-god order. In this day and age therefore, it is and will be wrong to say the voice of the people is the Voice of God unless and until God so affirms it. To say the least, we must define who, what, and which ‘god’ we are referring to, God the Creator, Satan the devil or the disobedient man.  Satan is honored by many consciously or unconsciously, as “god.” Regarding the Voice or Acts of God in creation, man generally has no part except by cries for Divine Intervention, Salvation, and Redemption.  In this connection, it is erroneous—if not a blatant lie— to declare the result of Election 2012 as ‘The Voice of the People’ and, therefore, ‘The Voice of God’ for our country. 

In any case, for an election result to truly reflect The Voice of the People, voting must be conducted through a free, fair, honest, non-coerced, and non-manipulated process—a transparent exercise of the free expression of choice. For example, where voting right is directed through manipulations, coercion, bribery, and corruption—where considerations such as money and gifts, laptops and cars, vague and vain promises, assassination, lies, and falsehood, oaths to gods are employed to direct, seduce, and compel voting preference, the result cannot be the free-will, right and proper expression of will and choice of the people.  Of course, it will be a dirty lie, unrighteous, and wicked, indeed, preposterous to say that votes are the will of the people and thus, The Voice of God. 

The Bible declares, ‘By their fruits ye shall know them.’  Where there is coercion through money and ‘machomen,’ or bribery and corruption of officials in unholy alliance—and where there are votes transpositions, massaging, and doctoring of votes—such cannot be the voice of people much more the Voice of God. 

At the spiritual realm also, we need to define and be clear about the Spirit-Power base and force behind the voting. Have votes been obtained through blood sacrifices, sorcery, charms, spiritual control, and manipulation of minds and acts of people through the power of Satan or by the blessed and holy working power of the Spirit of God? 

Finally, we want to take opportunity of this article to inform the people of Ghana that Election 2012 was a battlefield—a contention between forces that want Ghana to remain under the power of Satan and Satan-man wicked kingdom order on one hand and the God-Christ (man) Kingdom order on the other. The spiritual terrain of the battle was muddied by false designs, false declarations, and false postures that deceived, confused, and seduced the religious-minded people of the country.  Thus, many people would appear to have been lured—or were, in fact lured—into Satan camp and Satan-man designs to take Ghana out of God Kingdom order now prevailing and place her again under Satan-man blood, idolatrous, and wicked oppression order.   

There have in fact been false and mixed representations of religious faith and godliness. Thus, people have thrown the Peace, Righteousness, Justice, and Joy in God for the unholy Satan-man order of corruption, unrighteousness, and wicked manipulations. This involves the coercive, disruptive, and oppressive use of party, government, and state power—or as Nkrumah would put it, “machinery of the state”.  In many nations, such as in Libya and today’s Syria, the state security agencies operate state terrorism and oppressive machinery to protect corrupt government and perpetuate corrupt economy. 

Corruption and corrupt, dishonest, and unrighteous government are wrong, immoral, and an abomination to God.  Such should not and must not be the model from Ghana for Africa. God must— and will—save Ghana from Satan-ordered and controlled terrorism, unrighteous, unjust, and dishonest corrupt government and corrupt political economy.
