THEME: THE KINGDOM OF GOD IS HERE (AFRICA) 

PREAMBLE 

Greetings in the name of the Master! It has been a delight, a joyful experience in the presence and company of Jesus Christ. 

THE SORROWFUL STORY AND STATE OF AFRICA 

1. Weak statehood, poor governance 

2. Spiritual darkness dominated by idolatry, sorcery, blood, Satanism 

3. Political instability, insecurity, war 

4. Poor economic performance, poverty and barrenness 

5. Social order dictated and dominated by Satan and human weakness – result, non-progress, social desolation 

6. Culture of oppression and negativity, spirits and powers of darkness, wickedness, man’s inhumanity to man 

7. A sad understanding and display of power of exploitation and oppression not development and progress 

The bible reveals the root of this sad state of affairs in (Isaiah 19: 1-25) 

BACKGROUND AND WAY OUT 

I. Spiritual movement under the Mighty One 

II. When Africa cries for deliverance and from oppressions 

Isaiah 19 gives 

A. Background – verses 1-18 

B. Way of escape – verses 19-20 

C. New state – verses 24-25 

A Mighty One shall arise to deliver, heal, redeem, and restore glory under the God of Israel. The vision is A New Africa Under God, the God of Israel. The critical role of the Church of God as special agency, army, and people of God serving as brethren and ministers, priests, and kings of Christ for the Christ (Messianic) Redemption Government and Kingdom Mission for His gathering, reign, and rule of creation for final handling unto God the Father—that the Father be all and in all. Christ the ‘Mighty One’ for Africa’s redemption and restoration Isaiah 19:20. 

INTRODUCTION 

The Christ Redemption Mission in Africa is multifaceted. Yesterday, we considered the spiritual and political order ref. Psalm 62:10. Today, we focus on the social and cultural order ref. John 10:9-10; Luke 4: 18-19; Isaiah 61:1-6; Matthew 5, 6 & 7.  Essentially, the Christ/Church Redemption Mission (Acts 26:18) is to Reconcile, Deliver, Redeem, and Rebuild Africa. His Church shall be called the Priests of the Lord, Servants of God (read Isaiah 61:4).  In the end, sorrows and mourning shall flee away (Isaiah 51:11). 

THE CHURCH AND SOCIAL ORDER 

I. The Word of God: The Spirit and Power base for confronting the powers of darkness, spirits, and men or principalities and power for the salvation and deliverance. Overthrow the thrones of Satan and wicked man, the spiritual base of socio-cultural order.

II. Transform the cultural order by reference to the knowledge of God and the Power thereof.  The Word of God is basis, pillars, and framework for the Christ ordered socio-cultural order. 

Beloved, let us consider the Redeemed Europe Judeo-Christian culture as model. This is the spiritual foundation and cultural order corrupted, diverted, misdirected, and overtaken by Satan in the new world order called Modernism. Modernism is a corrupted and damned version of the Judeo-Christian Order. It retains some vestiges of light, but it has been transferred from God and Christ to Satan and man. African culture is the light of God. Christ is light and liberation. The Word of God as Light, Wisdom, and Power of God. The Church as Redeemed People enmeshed in Christ, the Light, Life, Truth, and Power of Scripture, knowledge, and honor of God. 

CONCLUSION 

Let us Redeem, Rebuild, and Establish A NEW PEOPLE, A NEW AFRICA under God. Christ is the answer, the Word of God is the spirit-power base, pillar, and framework for social action and cultural transformation. Let us not forget the old spirits of oppression due to Divine Judgement.  Who can and is ready to deliver Africa but Christ.  Who will run the race and fight with Him except the Church.

III. Raise the Divine standards and rebuild Africa, ruined cities and end the desolation of past generation.  Amen! 

The Kingdom of God has come! The King is here in Africa! Glory be to God in the highest!!
