THE OPEN GRAVES IN CHURCH MISSION—MINISTRY, SERVICE, AND LIFE
THEME: DIVINE GLORY IN HIGH CALLING, IN CHURCH AND WORLD
PREAMBLE
Praise ye the Lord! Thanks be to God for the Open Table—the precious, glorious, and eternal—for entry into Divine Heritage of Glory in church mission, ministry, and life. The “New Thing” of Divine ordered and established capacity and possibilities with Divine Heritage of Glory in church mission boils down to Standing, Perfection, Performance, and Reward in the High Calling i.e. ministry and service in the vineyard. Yesterday, we were brought to the portals and threshold of True Standing in Divine Heritage of Glory in Church Mission through the mission of the Triumvirate—Christ, Holy Spirit, and Church (Holy men in Holy Garments and Holy Orders and Heaven Agenda for the Father’s vision and mission, will, purposes, and Glory of the Kingdom of Heaven on earth).
This morning, we will discuss the Nature of:
a. Standing
b. Performance
c. Expectation of Glory and Reward in the High Calling, ministry/church mission.
The Point of Departure—Lessons in Christ Mission, Ministry, and Life. The challenges, expectations, and performance in the High Calling under the topic: THE OPEN GRAVES IN CHURCH MISSION – MINISTRY, SERVICE AND LIFE (cf. Matthew 4:1-11).
INTRODUCTION
Generally speaking, the “Open Graves” refer to the challenges posed by the devil, coupled with the danger of self-motivation and expectations of glory in church mission/ministry/life.
Premise:
Lessons in Christ’s Encounter with the Devil—Matthew 4:1-11
The Open graves—challenges, pits and falls—the Open Graves of Falling Away from grace and glory of God in the High Calling/Ministry/Life:
a. The Open Grave of Self-Gratification/Gain/Fulfilment (Matthew 4: 3-4)
b. The Open Grave of Pride and Self Glorification and Fame (Matthew 4:5-7)
c. The Open Grave of Worldly and Earthly Glory (the ‘Satan-man’ kingdom order) (Matthew 4:8-11)
Lesson:
i. The Call is of God the Father through Christ Jesus.
ii. The Mission is Heavenly/the Triumvirate Order
CONCLUSION
The Lord spoke of the time/seasons/world of falsehood (Matthew 24:5) and faithlessness (Luke 18:8) or lawlessness (2nd Thessalonians 2:2). Beware of the lure of the “dashing fortunes” and glory of the ‘Satan-man’ world.
i. Keep faith with Christ.
ii. Stand firm in the truth and Divine Heritage of Glory with self-denial and death to self.
iii. Put on the Garment.
iv. Remain standing in the Garment and Glory of the Holy Orders and for the church and the Kingdom of God and His Christ and Divine Heritage of Glory on earth.
THE DIVINE HERITAGE OF GLORY
Take, keep, and stand in your position and place in the Divine Triumvirate mission on earth. Do not let the “Open Graves” claim your calling.
