IDENTITY CARDS FOR GHANAIANS
THEME: IDENTITY CARDS MUST PROTECT GHANA’S DIVINE RESOURCES
We write in the name and at the behest of the Almighty God, Creator of Heaven and Earth. The LORD God of Hosts would have His servant write to advise the Government of Ghana that Government should take measures to undertake a comprehensive and thorough issuance of National Identity Cards to all citizens with true, genuine, creditable, acceptable and good standing as citizens of the nation.
The exercise is important, necessary and urgent not only to ensure that citizens of the country are fully known and properly identifiable but also to ensure that foreigners and strangers do not come in to rob, steal, abuse and misuse the resources, facilities and opportunities of the country.
The LORD would have His servant inform further that He the Most High God has great blessings ready for the country. The nation’s affairs must be organized in such a way that, as declared by the scriptures:
“The LORD hath sworn by His right hand, and by the arm of His strength, Surely, I will no more give thy corn to be meat for thine enemies, and the sons of the stranger shall not drink thine wine, for the which thou hast labored, But they that have gathered it shall eat it, and praise the LORD; And they that have brought it together, shall drink it in the courts of my holiness.” (Isaiah 62:8-9)
It is apparent from the above the divine direction on economic, investment, labor and social policies and for that matter foreign and international relations that Ghana does not stand robbed, cheated and defrauded by strangers, however well their intentions.
Considering however that Ghana is bordered by nations with heavy economic, political and social problems, with high standing poverty, long standing immigration into and high dependency upon Ghana, the nation needs to take precautions and be vigilant to ensure that citizens enjoy fully the blessings of the living God who has become the God of salvation, redemption, restoration and glory of the land.
God will not bless those nations who do not know and would not worship Him. He will not share His Glory with anyone. Though strangers are welcome in the land, they must not be given full and inhibited access to the joy of the blessings of The LORD in the land. Otherwise, the flood of citizens of other lands will overshadow and minimize the blessedness inherent in the nation whose God is Jehovah (Ps. 33:12).
Perhaps, we may need to remind ourselves and visit again the lessons of history in the affairs of the country.
We are confident the Ministers of State and other public officials of the land are well informed and capable of handling the matter for the benefit of the country all to the praise of God. Thanks in advance for your understanding and obedience. Obedience is better than sacrifice for the country.
GOD BLESS YOU.
GOD BLESS GHANA.
Yours in Christ
For the country,
