THE DIVINE MANDATE FOR GHANA: END COUPS AND HONOR GOD

Series:

THEME:  POLITICIANS AND MILITARY MUST HONOR GOD AND END CHAOS

We write this Open Letter at the inspiration of the Spirit of God to convey a message of peace, joy and hope from God the Creator, Father of the Lord Jesus Christ to the Government, Chiefs, Elders and People of the country.  Ghana is a nation and people elected, sought out, chosen, redeemed and set apart for God’s Kingdom and its glory in Africa and in the world. As a result, Ghana is shining as a Bright and Golden Star in the skies and a Light in Africa and the whole world as a nation, people and government of peace, holy unto God.  God has given the resultant New Ghana, a new name, The New Jerusalem to depict His Works, His Crown and Divine Glory upon land.

The Peace, Stability and burgeoning Hope the nation is now experiencing is the Beginning of great things to come, Hallelujah! Amen and Amen!

Towards the maintenance, prospering, flourishing and glory of the New Ghana, the New Jerusalem, the LORD God Almighty has directed that the politicians and the military in Ghana be made aware not only of His Hand upon the land, His works of Deliverance, Healing, Redemption and Establishment of the country in this new state of peace and stability, but also remind them of the evil effects of the political misconduct and mismanagement and military adventurism that have been the major factors in the political and economic history and the unfortunate faltering circumstances of the political-economy prospects and destiny of the nation.

It is the desire and direction of the Most High God that the adventures of the recent past should be a matter of the past and be no more visited by politicians and military, past, present and future and their friends in the business, professional and academic fraternities.  The time when foreigners infiltrated into, seduced, enlisted and paid politicians, soldiers and other citizens to betray, undermine and cause havoc to the political march and social advancement, peace, stability and progress of the country should be deemed and must in fact be over.  The private interests and political ambitions of citizens, however well-intended, cannot be pursued at the peril of the integrity and sovereignty of the nation and lives of her citizens.

Ghana must cherish, uphold and hold fast the peace, stability and hope of the country established through the deliberate intervention and working hand of God.  (We will write a full account of the Divine intervention and works of God from the 1960’s through year 2005 in due course).

Suffice to say now, that the politicians and the military of Ghana in particular, and with them the Chiefs, Elders and People of Ghana whatever their faith and belief system must;

 i. Acknowledge the Hand of God in the affairs of the land

ii. Resist the temptation to drag Nation and People back into the political confusion of the recent past era and with its attendant lost of lives, deep economic and social consequences.

iii. Take on the mantle to build a peaceful, righteous, just, viable, progressive and prosperous nation in the Knowledge, Fear and Honour of God and Loyalty to country and people.

In this respect, the politicians and all others called upon to form Government and manage the connected Legislative, Administrative, Judicial, Economic, Defence and Security Arrangements must learn to Honour God, Country and People and serve in all humility, modesty and selflessness, diligence, loyalty and faithfulness.

The truth is that God in His mercy has lifted His wrath and judgement against the country and with His own Right Hand has fought to deliver nation and people from the forces of political confusion, economic stalemate and social desolation set in motion due to his wrath through military coups and short-lived civilian regimes.

The death of leading political and military leaders, chiefs and elders, business tycoons and industrialists, academicians, professionals and innocent citizens, the flight into exile of active players of diverse kinds and scatter of youth with great promise, the virtual stoppage of the nation’s social advancement, these and all are the high price the nation has had to pay for the divine wrath and judgement against the rejection of the knowledge and honour of Him God and His Hand upon the nation, and resort to idolatry, blood sacrifices, bankrupt political ideologies and social systems of oppression coupled with economic mismanagement, robbery by politicians and soldiers, administrators and their cohorts.

The politicians and soldiers, our chiefs and elders and others allowed themselves to be bribed and hoodwinked by foreign countries, foreign ideologies, foreign companies and strangers. Never again should Ghana go back on this road.  Never again should politicians and soldiers, businessmen, academics and so-called revolutionaries use the country to advance their ambition, pet dreams and vain glory. Men have a right to canvass ideas, solicit support and take measures to participate in the political, economic and social processes with humility, due diligence and dignity without undermining and setting into jeopardy the process itself and the peace and stability, integrity and sovereignty of the country. Such conduct is enmity with God, Country and people.

In this connection, it may be necessary to mention that God the Creator has His hand in the affairs of nations and creation as a whole. Peace, political stability, economic development, social advancement and material comfort of nations and peoples are subject to the working Hand and pleasure of the Living God (Psalm 33:8-19).  Accordingly, Nations, Kingdoms, Dominions, Empires, Tribes and all that do not acknowledge God and Honour Him, but put their trust in Satan and the gods, as well as those that depend solely on Human Power, Knowledge and Wisdom and/or engage in idolatry, blood sacrifices, charms, sorcery, witchcraft et al, do so at their own peril.

The kingdoms, dominions and empires of men and Satan do not last.  They always fall.  Their civilization crumbles and gets swept away.  Nations and kingdoms that knew God but do not honour Him suffer the same fate, except there be found a faithful remnant standing in the gap through the ages. Such in fact, has been the fate of nations, kingdoms and dominions of the world in ages past. This is the explanation of the seeming mystery behind the fall of Egypt, the kingdoms and empires and wisdom of Africas’ ancients.  The Ghana Empire of old suffered in that order.

We have the most recent case of the fall of a powerful empire, the Soviet Union.  The atheistic-humanistic-communist-socialist regime lasted only seventy years, the lifespan of Man as indicated in the Bible (Psalm 90:3-11).  Like a game, the other socialist republics fell domino effect. The spirit, power and wisdom of man behind the system are of no permanent perfect and everlasting nature.  It could not hold after the departure of the pioneers and stalwarts of the system – Marx-Lenin-Stalin and others. It must be stated in this direction that America did not win the cold war. The Soviet Union only melted away at the blast of the breathe of the Most High God. America remained “unscathed” as it were because America had no official policy rejecting the Knowledge of God, and in any case, there was a remnant in America faithful to Jesus Christ, the God in whom America trust, and who holds the world by the power of His word.

It may be remembered in this connection that, Nkrumaist-Socialist Ghana, or to put it another way, the Nkrumah-Ghana Empire II with its Africa or Pan-African spread fell far earlier before the fall of the Soviet Empire.  God always brings the counsel of men to nought, their economic strength and military might, their high imaginative human redemption plans and constructs notwithstanding.

The truth is that the Earth and its fullness is the LORD’S.  All power; knowledge and wisdom are His. Nothing can succeed and have positive everlasting impact outside the will, light and wisdom of God.  All things shall pass away.  Only the word of God, that is God Himself, abides ever. Amen!  “Blessed is the nation whose God is Jehovah, and the people He has chosen for His own inheritance” (Psalm 33:12).

God the Creator, the God who revealed Himself to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, the God who demonstrated His redemption power over Egypt, and proclaimed truth, life, victory and liberty to man through the prophets and sealed it by the shed blood of His Son Jesus Christ has become the salvation and redemption of Ghana and the God and Father of the New Ghana, the New Jerusalem. Ghana must be thankful and cherish the unique and favourable standing with the Almighty God.  Let Ghana acknowledge God the Creator and retain the Knowledge, Fear, Honour and Glory of Him through uninhabited obedience of His law, commandments and way in the truth and true worship and service of Him.

May all citizens high and low, rich and poor, literate and illiterate, including foreigners in our midst Acknowledge and Honour the God of Ghana in Loving, Obedient, Humble, Righteous, Holy, Loyal and Faithful service to God and Country.  But whatever happens, may politicians, soldiers and their friends in the business and industrial fraternities and academia not play games with the lives of the people of Ghana and the destiny of the country.

Above all, the politics of lawlessness, iniquity and wickedness, violence and blood, coups and countercoups and politician-military chess must end here and now.  It should be a taboo for any politician or soldier to talk about a coup, political assassination, foreign infiltration and mercenary operations in politics and governance of the land.

Soon, many foreign nationals, rich, wealthy, God-fearing and peace-loving peoples around the globe seeking a haven will run to Ghana to invest, establish businesses and build homes and turn Ghana into their second homes.

Finally, may we use the medium of this Open Letter to humbly appeal to His Excellency the President to organize a special national thanksgiving service thanking GOD for the protection of the land against coups, instability and chaos and the upstaging of deaths by powers through accidents, blood sacrifices and other means.

We appeal in the same vein to the Church of God to give the full support to the thanksgiving service in thanks, honour and glory of God for the Redemption and protection of the country.

May the Peace and Mercy of God rest and abide with us as nation and people from this time forth and for ever more. Amen.

GOD BLESS GHANA.
