The Error of Materialistic Religion

Central Spiritual Truth: A religion focused solely on physical survival and earthly comfort is synonymous with paganism and lacks the essence of Christ.

• The Critique of Paganism: The speaker asserts that if religion is only for “food, shelter, and clothing,” it is merely practicing paganism, as these are the things the Gentiles seek after in the Sermon on the Mount.

The Threefold Path of Consecration

• Separation from the World: The believer must learn the lesson of being “totally separated” from the world order.
• Conversion in the Heart: The speaker emphasizes that true change is not outward but a “conversion in the heart.”

• The New Breed of Beings: Those who are called constitute a “new breed of spirit beings after Jesus Christ,” functioning as children of the Most High.
• Association with the Holy Spirit: This higher life is predicated on “association with the Holy Spirit, and knowledge and understanding of the Scriptures.”
• Scriptural Anchor: “Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature.” 2 Peter 1:4.

The Mission of the “Called-Out” and “Sent-Out”

Central Spiritual Truth: The Church is a separate social order ordained to conform the world to the heavenly pattern.

• The Mandate to Change the Order: The “called-out ones” are also “sent-out ones” whose mission is to “change the old-world order into conformity with the heavenly order.”
• The Five-Fold Ministry: Those in the “five-fold ministry” have a special significance in representing Christ to the world and maintaining the foundation of the call.
• Separation of Message and Works: The church must ensure that its prescribed “message, works, and order” are “totally separated from the world order.”
• Scriptural Anchor: “Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.” Matthew 6:10.

 Exhortations, Prayers, and Calls to Action

• Press On for Jesus: The speaker urges the congregation to “come out” of domestic and mental distractions to seek and press on for Jesus.
• Revisit the Foundation: A direct call to action is made for the church to “revisit the foundation of the call and the faith of God.”
• Walk in the Way of Peace: Believers are encouraged to find the “way of peace, truth, and life” by separating themselves from the world’s systems.
