TRANSCRIPT
Praise the Lord! And I say, peace be unto you, people of God.
On this occasion, we speak to the children and citizens of God, specifically addressing the youth of today.
Beloved, let us thank God and rejoice over the heritage of God’s love, which is clearly exhibited in our country as a Nation and People of God. What we have become is God’s heritage in Africa. As we celebrate Ghana’s redemption story, we are celebrating a new heritage: a heritage of God’s people, God’s nation, and God’s work in Africa.
What a great privilege to be considered a part of this heritage! It is God who made all this possible. We cannot tell exactly what nature or form this new thing will take, but we know that God has thought of us and called us into a time such as this because of a new work He has done and will be doing. What a privilege, and what a heritage.
We thank the Lord for the grace of this new heritage that shall be the focus of our discussion tonight. It has been the same from the beginning, but tonight, we round it up.
So I pray that we thank, praise, and worship God with special meaning, understanding, and zeal for His love, goodness, mercy, and blessedness bestowed upon our country, Ghana. Beloved, let us rejoice together over this wonderful heritage! Hallelujah!
In the past two days of this festival of celebration of God’s love, the Spirit of God has related to us the holy gatherings that have taken place here. Today, we address the Creator’s divinely ordained, designed, and established new thing for the nation and people of Ghana, and through that, for Africa.
This new thing has been preceded by the divine act of reconciliation, redemption, restoration, marriage, and establishment of Ghana as the nation and people of God’s inheritance. This is His government and kingdom glory, order, reign, and rule in Africa and the world.
Ghana has been given the name Beulah, signifying the redemption, the marriage, and the salvation of our country. This nation is established as the people of God, a crown of glory, a royal diadem in Africa and the world for God and His Christ.
To be sure, the fullness of the new thing we are discussing is yet to emerge. Indeed, yesterday—the day focused on government, institutional, corporate Ghana, and civil society—the festival marked the launching of the new thing. Yesterday was new day, new thing day.
There was, indeed, a glorious celebration when the launching took place. The vision of the new thing is destined to be ushered into reality in Ghana through Christ’s Messianic redemption, government, and kingdom mission in the nation. We are referring here to Isaiah 9:6-7 and Isaiah 42:1-12. Christ’s mission is for the redemption of nations for the Father’s reign and rule. Our country has been chosen for this glorious vision of a new thing in the world.
Christ’s government and kingdom order is to be ushered in upon His shoulders, which is to say, with His church people. It is for this reason Christ has appointed a church to serve as kings and priests for the Father’s reign and rule through Him on earth (Revelation 1:6, 5:9-10). The spiritual movement is the gathering of creation, the establishing of creation in God’s kingdom order, and the restoration of God’s kingdom in its fullness and totality.
The Spirit of God made it clear that the new thing has already been ordered and established in the spirit by Christ. This is the calling of Ghana as a Christian nation for His government and kingdom glory order in Africa and the world. The simple expression is that Christ wants to turn the world into a Christian world. He is taking over the nations, reigning and ruling over them, casting out every system of human spiritual arrangements, and transferring all to the Father, so the Father shall be all in all.
He decided to choose Ghana not because somebody asked Him. He has done it on His own counsel and blessed it. We will live in this Ghana, and I will live to see it. And Ghana shall be declared a Christian nation! Constitutionally, we call it de jure Christian nation. We declare it tonight! Hallelujah!
We declare it tonight: Ghana a Christian nation! God’s government and kingdom nation and people. That shall be established, and it is established. Thanks be to God. Hallelujah!
I see a new Africa emerging where every little child is not afraid to say Jesus is Lord. Where the rivers and mountains are singing. And God will walk in the streets of Accra and say, “Hallelujah! I’ve come to My own.” He said, “I am here,” and I’ve made My dwelling place in this country. That is the vision. That is the new thing.
You and I shall be the instruments of reordering the world, establishing God’s kingdom glory world order, with Jesus Christ as the King of glory. This is the vision. This is the new thing. This is the new Ghana: Christ’s government and kingdom order is to be established.
We demand a new Ghanaian. A new human being. Jesus said he must be born again. The kind of people who make this possible are not the natural human beings walking the streets of Accra today. They must be people born again, filled with the Holy Spirit, and rooted in the Scriptures, declaring boldly their faith in these Scriptures and the Lord Jesus Christ.
We need a new Ghanaian that is not ashamed of the Gospel, who will make the Gospel the basis of his life. You cannot build a new Ghana on the demands of a fallen man; if the foundation is fallen, there is no new thing that will come. You need a new man for a new change.
That is what we are launching tonight with the youth of Ghana: a new Ghanaian, a new youth, a new Ghana.
The church and the nation have no option but to accept, receive, acknowledge, honor, and glorify God in positive response to His love and glory bestowed upon our nation. He has said, “You have now become My people,” and “I have become your God.” He is changing your nation. He is changing even your descendants into new beings. We need a new Ghanaian. Young people, a new you.
Today, there is a re-concentration on you who are in the light of God’s Word, aligned with God’s plans for Ghana. The new thing was launched with a faithful and positive response by the church gathered here. Today, the third and final day, is devoted to the youth and future generations of the country. We have dubbed today “Youth and Future Generations Day” as a Heritage Day.
We, the youth and the future generations of Ghana, must enter into this heritage, hold it, cherish it, and treat it as the foundation, premise, and platform for all works of development, progress, and prosperity. Your life and conduct must be based on the platform of God having chosen this country, establishing a new thing to make Ghana His nation and people: a Christian nation, God’s kingdom glorious state.
The Lord said, “My son, this is not an idealism.” It is a positive, practical, both spiritual and practical thing that shall be established. And the premise is that the youth, the people of Ghana, starting with the youth of today, shall be the instruments of the change. Clap for Jesus Christ! Hallelujah!
We are being called upon as youth of today not just to accept the divine heritage, but more important still, to accept full responsibility for the translation and establishment of the heavenly ordained new thing. God is not going to ask angels to come and change Ghana. God is going to let human beings be the agents of change. These agents must be found in the church first. The church youth can transform this nation.
The challenge of the divine new heritage is being established on the shoulders of the youth of Ghana, who must accept not only the opportunity but also the responsibility to make it a reality.
We, the youth of Ghana, are the hope of a new system of a Christian nation, government, and God’s kingdom glory order in our country under Christ Jesus, the Lord and Master. It is we, the youth of this hour, that will and must make the heaven-ordained new thing real.
This is a charge we have to keep. This is the platform for determining our lives and our destinies, our efforts, enterprises, and all our worship and service.
If we accept this vision where Ghana is a Christian nation, then it behooves on all of us, especially you that are coming, to think afresh the basis of determination. I’m talking about a total shift of nature, plans, and purposes, based on Christ’s new rule—the hope of glory. God has a vision and plan for Ghana, and this vision has us as His special royal people He will use to bring this to pass.
The scripture the Lord gave me to brief the vision today is Psalm 119:10-12 (King James Version):
“With my whole heart have I sought thee: O let me not wander from thy commandments. Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee. Blessed art thou, O Lord: teach me thy statutes.”
This scripture gives a vision of the nature of people who can be the agents of change. The combination of God and His Word will be the basis of your new life, the life of a kingdom person, the heritage citizen of Ghana.
The fundamental problem we are facing today is that those in charge of national affairs have not made God and the Word of God the center of their policies. Psalm 119:9 asks: “Wherewithal shall a young man cleanse his way?” The answer: “By taking heed thereto according to thy word.”
We also look at Psalm 119:14:
“I have rejoiced in the way of thy testimonies, as much as in all riches.”
In today’s society, money and riches are the determining factors. But the glorious heritage of the new thing is of a higher order than riches, fame, or the congratulations of men. If riches, power, position, possessions, and pleasure determine your life, you cannot follow the kingdom order. You cannot be an instrument of change. Verse 15 says, “I will meditate in thy precepts, and have respect unto thy ways.” I will organize my affairs on the basis of Ghana as a Christian nation, with Christ’s government and kingdom glory order. I will make You and Your Word the basis of my life. I will hide this in my heart.
AMEN
