The kingdoms of this world are becoming the kingdoms of our God and of His Christ. This is our life : the new life in Jesus Christ. It is the salvation, redemption, and restoration of glory in Jesus Christ; it is the inheritance. The rationale and significance of salvation stem from deliverance from sin and death. There is a problem: you were born in sin. Because you were born in sin, you are subject to death. God has given death power because of sin, so it can arrest you.

The Two Levels of Power for the Redeemed

As we noted, the redeemed person enjoys two levels of power. First, there is power and joy from the reconciliation with God, redemption, and restoration of glory. When you are redeemed, power is already present from that redemption. Second, there is power from the new birth and the divine supernatural power in the resurrection power and the abundant life. When the resurrection power and the abundant life power operate, then you walk in the higher realms. The victory in Christ and the abundant life are derived from faith in Jesus Christ, the riches in Christ, and the new spirit man in Christ. These are the fundamentals of the Christian faith that bring us to the victory realm of life.

Salvation through the forgiveness of sins takes care of the operation of sin, guilt, and death. Sin has consequences. Guilt is one of the consequences of sin. Death is the ultimate end. When you are saved, and God forgives your sins, those sins do not operate anymore. The Scriptures (Hebrews chapter 9, chapter 10, and chapter 4) instruct the saved to come to the throne room and obtain mercy in time of need. Since your sins have been forgiven, we know you are still human and may sin. The provision in Scripture is this: as soon as you sin, confess your sins. Your sins have been forgiven, and the blood of Christ is used to cleanse you. You will stand as you were originally.

If you have sinned, and diseases or sickness have befallen you because of it, the instruction is to go to the elders of the church. Let them pray over you, anointing you with oil, and the prayer of the righteous shall be answered. If you had sinned, your sins shall be forgiven, and you will gain your health. This is a security, a divine provision and security against the consequences of sin. John says, “if you say you are not a sinner, you are a liar”. It is better to admit that you are a sinner. The wages of sin is ultimately death. However, there is a security in Jesus Christ. Even though we may sin, we can still walk victoriously. Satan cannot use sin to accuse me. When he was accusing Moses and Joshua, the Lord rebuked him. The wages of sin, which is death, does not apply to this man, for he has come to the mercy side. He has left the judgment side. We are saved by grace through faith. Blessed is he to whom the Lord does not impute sin. If you live carelessly, you attract trouble. Therefore, keep your house clean and make sure you stand as the redeemed of the Lord. Live in the marvelous light of Jesus.

Redemption through the blood of Christ is a system that guarantees continued coverage, peace, and hope. This is a provision God has made. Like a mother tending to a child’s wounds, God deals with our failings. God’s dealing is like saying, “My son, have rest”. When a prophecy that affects you is given, you will be chastised and corrected. This is a mechanism of correction and security. When you sin, don’t go and hide. There is a divine mechanism of lifting us up above our humanness and powerlessness. The mercy of God covers us. God’s hope is that we shall overcome. If you cry to God, saying, “I don’t like this,” He will save you. There is a victory power and a victory mechanism available to you. Victory is in the power of the Word of God.

Redemption through the new birth is a system of newness of spirit and a victory over the power of sin. The new birth spirit is sinless, incorruptible, and immortal. If Christ dwells in you, you will not sin. The old man is the one that sins; the new man does not. There is a provision for the new man to grow, and the old one shall become sinless.

The power of faith is derived from the Word of God. The word of faith is in your mouth; you must confess it to deal with the situation. If you decide you don’t like a situation, you confess it and say, “Lord, take it away from me”; it shall be overcome and done. If you ask anything in His name, He will do it. You must tell your soul, “Soul, don’t accept it anymore”. Then you call upon the name of the Lord, and He will take it out of your heart. Victory is in the power of faith in the Word of God.

Victory is also available through the power of the Holy Spirit—the baptism, the gifts, and the operation of the Holy Spirit—and through prayer in the Holy Ghost. There is also prayer itself, coupled with fasting. When you have Jesus Christ, and you stand as a child of God, you win victory. You must know who you are in Christ. A simple prayer is, “Father, into Your hands I commit my spirit. I go; let Your will be done”.

We are not in the church only for what we eat and drink, or for worldly success. Paul said, “If in this life alone we have hope in Christ, we are of all men most miserable”. If our Christian faith is only for the present life, we should just eat and drink, for tomorrow we die. But that is not why we are in the church. We are in the church with a vision on higher grounds. We are praying to know God and to grow in Him, into the fullness of His stature.

The resurrection power is the power where death cannot take you. Jesus said, “I can lay down My life, and I can take it”. They can declare you dead, but you are alive. The Spirit that raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, and it will quicken your mortal bodies. He that believes in Him shall never die. Jesus is the resurrection: “Even if he dies, yet shall he live”.

Salvation, redemption, and the resurrection of glory, which come through faith in Christ, introduce us to a new life. It is a life of joy, fulfillment, and victory against the enemy of our souls. The key to this new life and victory is faith in Jesus Christ. Faith in Jesus Christ brings us to the door of the fullness of the divine nature and to divine power. Faith in Jesus Christ, the Word of God, and the Holy Spirit opens the door to a spirit power system a life of victory.

The victory life can be seen in five areas of living : Righteousness in life; Overcoming human frailty and weaknesses by depending on and calling upon the Lord; Resisting the devil and overcoming the world; Power to cast out devils and to remove his hand over your life and the lives of others ; and A fulfilling and God-pleasing life and service.

One of the joys of the victory life is walking and working with the Holy Spirit. You will always experience the presence, direction, hand, and mercy of God on your life if you walk with the Holy Spirit. There is fullness of joy in the presence of God.

I charge you to uphold the victory of Christ with these notes : Have faith in God (Mark 11); Walk righteously before God and wear the full armor of God; Be converted in your spirit and mind and love not the world; Study and be diligent and obedient to the Word of God. This is how you prove your ministry and that God indeed has called you; Pray without ceasing, seeking the face of the Lord in the battles of life (1 Thessalonians 5 and Ephesians 6); Build yourself always in the faith through prayer in the Holy Spirit (Jude 20, 21 and Ephesians 5:18, 19). Be filled with the Holy Spirit; Be diligent and fervent in spirit (Romans 12:11, 12) ; and Live in love, charity, and peace with all men, particularly with those of the household of God. Encounter life in the knowledge and fear of God and always rejoice.

The victory life entails: living in the knowledge and fear of God; living in righteousness and faithfulness; living in the power, in faith, in Christ, the Scriptures, and the Holy Spirit; living in the resurrection power and prayer life; and living in a knowledgeable and consistent walk with the Holy Spirit.

You can always be victorious. I charge you to uphold, prove, and demonstrate the victory of Christ and reap the harvest of victory in Jesus Christ. I invite you to invite Christ through faith to administer to you in your spirit the structure and culture of the victory life. Let Him bring you to the altar of the culture and structure of victory life.

The victory life is through faith in Jesus Christ, faith in the Holy Scriptures and faith in the power of the Holy Ghost. The victory life is in the operations of the resurrection power and operations of the divine nature. The victory life is in the overcoming of Satan, sin, and the powers of darkness through faith in Jesus Christ, in the blood and the cross. The victory life is in the blessed assurance of Jesus Christ in all circumstances.

May the Lord richly bless you and reward your efforts to survive with victory and your desire to be perfect with great results. May the Lord’s presence be felt in your life. May your ears be open to His voice. May His direction be close to your heart and your spirit. May you be continually fervent in spirit so that you can hear the voice of God always. When tomorrow we discuss the voice of God, you will know how to walk with Him. God bless you, eternally so, amen.
