PRESS STATEMENT

TITLE: THE POLITICAL ECONOMY, GOVERNMENT AND FUTURE OF GHANA 

THEME: GHANA, WELCOME THE NEW DAY OF DIVINE GODLY GOVERNMENT AND GLORY.  BEHOLD, I MAKE ALL THINGS NEW SAYS THE LORD.  

Blessed be the Most High God, Father, King, Lord, Ruler and Father of Ghana for His Goodness and Mercy towards the church, nation and people of Ghana. 

We welcome good people and vessels of hope of Ghana Media Fraternity to yet another Press Conference for Divine Message to the Government, Nation and People of Ghana. 

The message we bring this day, May 15, 2016, is entitled: 

THE POLITICAL ECONOMY, GOVERNMENT AND FUTURE OF GHANA 

Blessed be the nation and people of Ghana, the nation chosen, redeemed, rebuilt, restored and established in Divine Heritage and Destined Glory in the Kingdom of God.  As we now know, the Lord has given Ghana a new name Beulah signifying His marriage, hand and crown of glory upon the nation.  Ghana, Beulah, Royal Diadem and Crown of Glory in the Hand of God is the glorious state of the nation.  Hallelujah! 

Introduction 

The theme of the message is “Ghana, welcome the new day of divine Godly government and glory.  Behold, I make all things new says the lord”.  

The Divine message we deliver at this June 15, 2016, conference is announcement on Divine governmental action on the political economy and government of the country. The message gives background information on Divine perspective of the Political Economy and Government of the nation.  Since Independence, the fallout from government of the land, all of which form basis for Divine take-over of the government of the land and the Most High God’s plans and works for the political economy and nation as a whole.  The Spirit of the Lord describes the future events and works of glory by God in the nation as THE NEW THING for Ghana, Africa and the Gentile nations of the world.  The New Thing shall serve as a preface of a new world order of Kingdom Glory nations and peoples under God and the God Kingdom Glory in the world. 

THE POLITICAL ECONOMY, 1957-TO-DATE 

According to the Most High God, He chose the nation for His inheritance and accepted and approved the name Gold Coast given the country by the colonial masters. The Gold Coast grew and prospered as a Christian nation and people of God with faith and hope in God, the knowledge and worship of Him only as God of the nation. Independence was received and ushered in on the Divine foundation, blessing and cover through Christian faith, worship, honour and glory as one people, one faith, and one hope and one God. 

Though the name Gold Coast was changed to Ghana without reference, knowledge and blessing, He Jehovah God kept faith wit nation and people. Thus, independent Ghana entered into nationhood in peace, joy and hope of assurance of continued Divine blessing and fullness of providence.  The Christian faith continued to be respected and honoured as the official national faith and religion for the maintenance of the spiritual foundation and pillar of truth with the knowledge, fear and honour of God serving as basis of moral ethos for administration, business and conduct of affairs and life in the land.  

The Holy Hands of God Almighty remained graciously upon the nation generating peace, goodwill and hope, progress, prosperity and good, the well-being of nation and people under One God and Father of the nation.  Ghana began to shine as a spiritually homogeneous and peaceful nation and happy blessed people.  The minor tribal, family, individual gods and goddesses, deities and ancestors were kept in the background and at the fringes.  They accepted and bowed to God Almighty as God and Father of the nation.   

Meanwhile, the advancement in power of the central government and connected political party national mobilization process helped national mobilization and the strengthening of the spiritual homogeneity of the nation.  The result is the checking of tribal aggression and consequent curbing of, if not the elimination of tribal wars. 

Thus, immediate post-independent political economy began to make steady and confident strides with hope in democracy, economic development, business, commerce and burgeoning markets. 

The atmosphere of spiritually peaceful and homogeneous nations of one people and one God building stable and secured democratic government and institutions to match was broken at the launch of the First Republic in 1960.  The ……… rate tribal gods, deities and spirits of ancestors were formally introduced into national politics and government at the centre. 

Second, the budding stable peaceful and secured democratic government, neutral strong national institutions, state enterprises and the public services were set aside by the declaration of ONE-PARTY STATE by the ruling Nkrumah-CPP government.   This not only opened wide the gates of political parties and central government as well as the hearts and minds of the population weaned and being weaned from the age-old standing trust in the power of Satan in Africa. 

That is to say, the pouring of libation at national and state functions at the launch of the First Republic set the clock back with Divine redemption and victory over Satan rebellion and human disobedience in the rejection of God as God, King and Supreme Power over all things. 

THE FALL OF NKRUMAH AND THE CONVENTION PEOPLES PARTY (CPP) 

The invocation of Satan rebellion and human disobedience in the affairs of nation originally established under the Almighty God is an abomination to God.  It provoked the wrath and judgement of God against Nkrumah, the CPP and the Nkrumah-Ghana establishment and its glory which by token of Ghana’s position turn back Africa’s redemption. 

Judicious study of the nation’s economy will indicate that Ghana’s favourable economic conditions began to suffer and fall immediately at the beginning of the First Republic.  Indeed, Ghana’s foreign exchange earning situation changed adversely such that by 1961 imports had to be curtailed and foreign exchange transactions controlled due to negative and adverse balance of payments situation. The 7-year Development Plan was launched at a time and season of failing and adverse conditions. 

The Military Coup of 1966 sealed the misfortune that had befallen the country.  It took years for the nation to recover both the negative, spiritual, political and religio-cultural adventurism that began in Nkrumah era. 

To be sure the military coup and the politico-economic blunders and challenges that hit the nations were all part of the Divine judgement provoked by the spiritual and political adventures of the era i.e. the 1960s on to the 80s.   The Rawlings-AFRC May 15-June 4, 1979, episode was Divine Act of mercy to arrest and halt both the Divine judgement and religio-cultural forces that prompted Divine intervention and judgement of the various players of the era. 

 Meanwhile, the Most High God has also set in motion a counter-part national reconciliation, redemption and restoration mission to avert the Satan-man rebellion-cum-disobedient spiritual, political and religio-cultural hegemony.  God raised people in the church body of the land for the national spiritual redemption, healing and restoration mission.  God raised an Army in the church for the purpose. 

The Lord Jesus Christ got the Father’s permission and approval to commission the Ghana Evangelical Society for the national spiritual and politico-religio-cultural redemption, deliverance, reconstruction and Kingdom mission for the restoration, marriage and establishment of the nation in Divine Heritage and Destined Glory in the Kingdom of God and His Christ (Psalm 33:12; Is. 9:6-7; 42:10). 

Ladies and Gentlemen, it is Christ Ghana Redemption Mission undertaken by the church in Ghana led by the Ghana Evangelical Society that gave us the grace to serve as servant of the Most High God and Spokesman of the Almighty God for church and human affairs.   The total reconciliation, redemption, healing and restoration and establishment of Africa in the New Thing of Divine Heritage and Kingdom Glory in Africa is a high priority goal. 

THE CRITICAL ISSUE 

Ghana has been reconciled, redeemed, restored, married and established in Divine Heritage of Glory.  Unfortunately, the political and government order of Divine Glory is still hanging in the air for the lack of effective leadership and righteous spiritual and political commitment by the governments of the nation. 

The Political Economy of the country is still awaiting Divine approved right man and right government who will prove humble and faithful to God. 

POLITICAL PARTY TRADITION AND HERITAGE 

POLITICAL PARTY RIVALRY – POLARIZATION, DIVISION AND DISUNITY 

“I will overturn, overturn, overturn, it: 

and it shall be no more, 

until he come whose right it is; and I will give it him.”  

(Ezekiel 21:27 KJV) 

Finally, it must be stated that the fall of Nkrumah-CPP and the dislodgement of military coups in the country opened the door unfortunately for deep-seated and intense political party rivalry that have rocked the country.  The United Party Danquah-Busia-Dombo and the Nkrumah-CPP tradition and heritage have bequeathed the rivalry, division, exclusion, mistrust and non-co-operation to the political arena and national economic development and social progress processes. 

To-day not only are political parties deeply divided and inundated with unrighteous, unjust and wicked rivalry internally.  There is violent ……………. with inter-party rivalry, mistrust, non-co-operation.  The national institutions and the public services have been thrown into fire. 

Further, the political party rivalry has infested the public series with the foul national destabilisation virus.  The trade-off of the political party rivalry is weak, corrupt and inefficient managers of national institutions, commissions and boards of state enterprises and the public services as a whole. 

Herein the seed, tree and fruit of poor governance, indifference and non-commitment to development, growth, accountability and progress. 

In the end, political parties, politics, government and public service development and progress, loyalty and nationalism have all sunken in spirit, power and character. 

Today, the political party of the national economy stands weak and destabilised without spirit and character, except the lingering spirit of yearning for power and money. 

But the good news is that the Almighty God has not left His chosen nation without His love, light and interest, mercy and hand on the national processes. 

Divine intervention came with the overthrow of leaders and governments and the shaking of political parties.  The reason for the Divine Hand on the scene is THE SEARCH FOR THE RIGHT MAN at the political gate with whom and through whom He will rebuild, restore and put the nation and people back on an even keel. Or as we put it in local parlance that Ghana will take back her garment of glory. 

Meanwhile, the Lord turned His attention to the church to raise soldiers and watchmen in the church for the spiritual battles to overthrow the gods and goddesses, spirits and powers, men and evil forces promoting idolatry and blood, hindering development and progress. 

The Lords army in the church went about doing good, building, transforming and establishing the country on the right spiritual and cultural path awaiting the right man for political leadership of the country.  Ghana is not only totally free from the spiritual powers of darkness and death, much a progress has been made with the corresponding social and cultural transformation from the rise with the worship, knowledge and honour of the only One, True and Living God.  God has raised watchmen to ensure that the nation does not go back to the old backwardness of doldrums.  

Ghana is Free: There is no need now for military intervention nor bloody revolutionary movement.  Indeed, God has married the nation as a result and given her a new name, Beulah. 

“Thou shalt no more be termed Forsaken; 

neither shall thy land any more be termed Desolate: 

but thou shalt be called Hephzi-bah, and thy land Beulah: 

for the Lord delighteth in thee, and thy land shall be married. 

For as a young man marrieth a virgin, 

so shall thy sons marry thee: 

and as the bridegroom rejoiceth over the bride, 

so shall thy God rejoice over thee. 

I have set watchmen upon thy walls, O Jerusalem, 

which shall never hold their peace day nor night: 

ye that make mention of the Lord, keep not silence, 

And give Him no rest, till He establish, 

and till He make Jerusalem a praise in the earth. 

The Lord hath sworn by His right hand, 

and by the arm of His strength, 

Surely I will no more give thy corn to be meat for thine enemies; 

and the sons of the stranger shall not drink thy wine, 

for the which thou hast laboured: 

But they that have gathered it shall eat it, 

and praise the LORD; 

and they that have brought it together 

shall drink it in the courts of My holiness” (Is. 62:4-9 KJV) 

A New Ghana has been born.  The New Ghana of Divine Heritage of Glory, depicting Ghana’s destined glory in Divine Heritage and the Kingdom of God and His Christ, reign and rule is the outcome. 

Ghana is Free: Africa is Free is the new song for Divine New Thing in Africa. 

THE ESTABLISHMENT OF THE NEW GHANA 

The rise and establishment of the New Ghana of Divine Heritage of Glory demand a new Divine ordered and run government.  This must be a godly government of the Kingdom of God characterised by Peace, Righteousness, Judgement and Justice and Joy in the Lord God Jehovah.
