.
Happy anniversary, Ghana Evangelical Society. Easter is always our
anniversary. The Ghana Evangelical Society started her meetings in April
1973 at like this in Labone Secondary School. We were not a church, and we
still are not a church. We were an evangelistic minister and a missionary
group and still will remain the same. We’ve being around the whole country
with the gospel of Jesus Christ. In the beginning, we didn’t have
congregations except we met occasionally and especially at Easter, and
people traveled all over the country for Easter at GES, because it was a time
of learning, it was a time of getting power, it was a time of re-dedicating
lives, and it was a time for anointing for service. Sometimes Easter was held
in the forest. Like a camp meeting and we had great experiences and great
encounters with Jesus Christ. We went out on mission; our first missionary
outreach was at Easter at Abetifi in 1978. The mission to take over Ghana
for Christ started in 1978 in Abetifi the highest habitable point of Ghana,
Easter 1978. By September and October, the same year we came here on
these same grounds
. At that time this school building was here, but not this
one. This was my school. I came here in 1945, in class three and in the last
room, this room was my classroom.
I came from Nkruakan stand 3 here, and
I was in that class. The classroom over here was my, the only classroom in
this school in 1945. And from here the Lord launched me out on academic
career, which turns out in the end to be a preacher of the gospel. When we
came here, I was invited for a revival in the Presbyterian church over there,
.
we had a great experience. During the week, we were in the church, except
for the last two days, we came on the ground, in the open air. And it was in
this very ground. This is a historical ground. There were no trees like this,
this was a football field, an open square field. The experience we had in the
mission in this field, I have not found anything to compare with except in
Liberia. For my, over 30 years, preaching the reception of the gospel in this
area in 1978 was the first ever and the only one to compare it with was in
1986 or 1987 in a city called Keparmas in Liberia. We had a great
experience, because I had become a tongue -speaking Christian and a hand
clapping and a hand clapping gentleman, my mother deserted me for two
years. My mother being a Presbyterian didn’t want anything to do with
Pentecostalism or Apostolic. The Presbyterian Church in Somanya here is
the beginning of Christianity in Yilo Krobo, and that was started in my
family house. So, the Presbyterian church in Yilo Krobo, and therefore
Christianity in Yilo Krobo started in my grandfather’s house. The land here
was given to them by my grandparents. We are in a very historical ground.
What happened here in 1978? The last day, GES had a very strong
demonstration of the worship of God. That was when we were introducing
into the church the worship of God in a special Pentecostal style. The
worship of God in an open air which the whole church is involved and
people can come from here and there as inspired by the Holy Spirit and the
whole church comes, it’s a celebration of God by the whole congregation
and you find the Holy Spirit picking people to worship and praise in special
way and we train people to do that, and it lifted God and lifted Jesus Christ
in a dimensionless way. We went on and I remember I was so excited about
the Holy Ghost, and I was standing on the platform at the other end, we
didn’t have any barrier in front of the platform, and it was about three feet
high, and you know that when I’m preaching I get high and close my eyes,
before I was aware, I was on the ground. I fell from the platform, and “I fell
like a ton of stone”. And the microphone was still in my hand, and I was still
speaking, and I got back and mounted the platform. Some people didn’t
know I had fallen. But I have fallen. It looks like a Style, but I have fallen.
But you know the beauty of it, when I made the altar call. It was not waiting
.
for the Lord to push people to come. People rush, even from the street.
Almost everybody on the crusade grounds, came round to accept Jesus
Christ. I will never forget it. It was a real experience. I had a similar
experience in Liberia. That also was the last day of 4-day crusade. And word
had gone round that somebody from Ghana had come. The Lord made me
confront many issues. That same word had gone round mild and there were a
lot of fishermen, Ghanaian fishermen, and people in town, and they all
came, the crusade grounds were filled with people.
I think Sandy was there,
Rev. KK was there. They can give you a testimony. Ghanaian fishermen in
Liberia were there. When we made altar call, Pastors, Prophets, Bishops,
Archbishops, Popes everybody came to accept Jesus Christ. In Somanya
here that day, one of the pastors called me after closing and said Brother
Enoch, I don’t know whether I can sleep tonight. That’s what he said, we had
a real encounter with Jesus Christ. Tell your soul you are going to meet the
Lord this Easter. We are going to have a special encounter with Jesus Christ.
You have never had that experience in your life before since you became a
Christian, and I want you to ready in your spirit and minds and put on this
spirit and garment of great expectation. You want to go with a special
testimony. Tell the Lord you will not go until he blesses you. That pastor
told me, I don’t know whether I can sleep in 1978. Last year at Koforidua
another mission, another pastor told me, I don’t know whether I can sleep
tonight. In America a few years ago, a pastor told me I been worshipping
God and been a pastor for 30 years but never have I met Jesus Christ like
when you are speaking. Whenever I’m hearing from you, it’s as if God is
speaking to me face to face. That pastor is older than me and I was a guest
speaker at a conference. He told me one evening, he said, ever since I’ve
been hearing you, it’s as if God is speaking to me, and I am always looking
to the very presence of God when you are speaking. And unfortunately,
tomorrow I cannot come. But I want you to know this, that I thank God that
I have met you, and when you are speaking, I know it is face to face with
God. Tomorrow I cannot come, but I want you to know this, while he was
saying that to me, the Lord told me he will be the first to come here
tomorrow. When we went there the following day, he was among the first
.
four and he was sitting in the front row. My brother, my sister, you will
never be the same again. You will never be the same again! Some of you are
going to vomit snakes, some of you have had snakes in you from childhood,
you’ll be delivered from that power, be delivered. And whatever power has
ruled your life, today you are free from that power. I stand in the name of
Jehovah, I stand in the name of the mighty God, I stand in the name of
the creator of heaven and the earth. I stand in the name of the Father of all
spirits, and I’m telling you say if you have a signed agreement with that
spirit, and you have decided that you will never let go, if you don’t want that
spirit to go, and He will never come to you, you go and look for it, and you
will never find it, I stand in the name of Jehovah, I stand in the name of
Jesus. I stand in the name of Jehovah, I stand in the name of Jehovah, I stand
in the name of Jesus, be gone spirits! you will never be the same. Indeed, as
I am speaking the chains are being broken in the name of Jesus. The Lord
has sent me to set you free. Am a servant of God my name is Enoch Amanor
Agbozo, and you end by Immanuel, Immanuel is my title that is what God
with us. If somebody is looking for a degree my name is what Enoch
Amanor Agbozo and my degree is Immanuel and I’m saying today, to all the
spirit in you and all the spirit around here and all the spirit of Krobo land,
deliverance has come. The Savior of the world is here. Behold the one that
taketh the sin of the world is here. The Redeemer of the world is here. And
every spirit that God created, archangels, Lucifer, Michael, Gabriel, powers,
Agbozo comes in the name of Jehovah, Agbozo comes in the name of Jesus,
Agbozo comes in the name of the Almighty God. Behold the King of Glory.
He has already sung His song, and He has declared himself as the Redeemer,
and He’s the King of Glory. And I’m standing in his name today, and God
has given me the liberty today to introduce the King of Glory to present the
King of Glory to all creation. In the book of Ephesians chapter three verses
nine ten and eleven “to the intent that now the manifold wisdom of God
might be made known by the church to the principalities and powers in the
heavenly places, according to the eternal purpose which He accomplished in
Christ Jesus our Lord” the bible says the church has be given the power to
declare the mystery of God and to present Jesus Christ to all principalities
.
and powers I am here today to present Jesus Christ the king of glory to all
principalities and powers. In the book of Ephesians chapter one verse ten;
“that in the dispensation of the fullness of the times He might gather
together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven, and which are
on earth—in Him” the Bible says that Jesus Christ shall gather all things and
present them to the Father. All things are being gathered in Christ and today
I am here to gather all things in Krobo land and put them in Jesus Christ.
And the Lord has to introduce himself already. And he has spoken. He said
He had opened Himself and He said let’s come in, He said come in, He said
come in, He said come in, He said come in. The King of Glory said here am
I, come in, I’ve opened myself, Come in. My task is just to point Him to
you. He has already spoken Himself. I want to tell you who has spoken. He
is the Redeemer. He is the King of Glory. He said come in; He is here to
gather all things in Him, all things in Him. Say after me. All things in him.
Of which I am one in Christ.
Prayer and singing started at 31:51
Shall we pray? Pray for yourself; Christ said He has opened Himself to you,
so enter. Behold the King of Glory, enter into Him, behold the King of
Glory enter into Him, behold the King of Glory enter into Him. Some of
you, your hair will change. From now onwards, your hair will change. I want
you to open your heart and enter into Christ. Go with all your being. He said
he is coming here as a bridegroom to marry you and sign the certificate, and
irrespective of how you are, what you are, enter. Go with all your being. The
Lord will change you; He will change in the perfect nature of Himself. He is
the redeemer, the King of Glory. Get out of your way in a special way and
thank God in your heart. Thank God. Today is a great day. Your redemption
has come. Your redemption is here. As you sing this song (title; the old
rugged cross), stand under the cross and let the blood flow upon you the
blood, the blood flow upon you as you sing this song, stand on the cross.
Hallelujah. Ended here at 42:34
.
Many of you are going to be baptized afresh. It is a special baptism of the
spirit and fire of the Holy Ghost. You will have it before you live here, we
are not going to put you in the water, or say come for the Holy Spirit
baptism, but you are through the fire. You need to open your heart for
everything and forget about your convenience. Don’t say I’m tired, don’t say
I’m hungry. We are here to meet Jesus. Some people met Him for three days
without eating. You will also meet Him this Easter and so decide and can be
given strength by the Lord, and whatever you have not been able to do, you
will do from now.
The Lord is moving, let’s allow Him to have His way. We
are going to have another meeting at three o’clock. The theme for this
mission is found in Psalm 24, from verse 7 to verse 10; “Lift up your heads,
O ye gates. And be ye lifted up ye everlasting doors. And the King of Glory
shall come in”. The king of Glory introduced Himself this morning, and He
opened Himself for us to come in. He declared Himself who He is. and He
asked us to come in. The question they will ask is, who is this King of
Glory? The Bible answers that the Lord strong and mighty. The Lord mighty
in battle. No spirit or power can stand Him. That’s why I can take liberty and
stand in His name, and no power can stand against me. Because I come in
the name of the Most High God. I come in the name of the Mighty Lord God
of Host, who is mighty in battle, the King of Glory. And that is the
presentation we are being confronted with. So, the Bible says, Lift up your
heads, O ye gates. Even lift them up ye everlasting doors. And the King of
Glory shall come in. Who is this King of Glory? This is the call for you, we
have been asked to come in, to enter in, except we lift up our heads and lift
up our gates, we cannot enter. He said come with faith, you come with
humility, we come with meekness, and we come with patience. You can
come in through these things. So, this afternoon Rev, Dadson will discuss
with us the gates that must be lifted up. You have been introduced to the
whole scheme of things, so when you come this afternoon be patient, listen,
hear the word, believe, receive in your heart. Open the gates of your heart.
Release your spirit and receive all that the king of glory has for us. This
evening, we shall enter into it in a special way but remember we have come
here to meet the King of Glory. God bless. Amen.
