Celebrating Gods redemption and kingdom
SERMON INSIGHTS
THE REALITY OF REDEMPTION AND THE STATE OF THE CHURCH
Central Spiritual Truth: True redemption requires the Church to remain anchored in the vision of Christ rather than surrendering to external agents or internal disunity.
- The current celebration is a revelation of God’s intention to restore mankind and all of creation through the actual works of Jesus Christ.
- There is a visible “chaos and confusion” within the Church, characterized by a “practical derailment” from its original mission.
- Denominationalism and “compartmentalization into blocks” have become obstacles rather than supports for the mission of Christ.
- Leadership has, in many instances, lost contact with Christ, making the management of the Holy Spirit appear “meaningless”.
- External agents have been allowed to influence the Church because men have failed to maintain their fellowship with Jesus.
- Despite any perceived lapses, Osu remains a “place of peace and quiet and godliness” due to the rejection of idolatry.
THE THREE-PILLAR STRUCTURE FOR A COMPACT NATION
Central Spiritual Truth: A nation is built and sustained through the harmonious integration of the temple, the faith, and the government.
- Based on Psalm 122, a “compact nation” requires a central temple for the worship of God.
- The “testament of Israel,” which is the Christian faith and the scriptures, must serve as the “life wire and philosophy” for all national affairs.
- The “thrones of judgment” or the government must be guided by the Spirit of God and the principles of the Word.
- This structure produces citizens of “loyalty and dedication” who will not steal or divert national resources for personal gain.
- When the Church, the faith, and the government are placed in the “true light and spirit of Jesus Christ,” the nation is redeemed from corruption.
Exhortations and Calls to Action:
- Resolve to Obey: Resolve to know and obey the commandments of Christ, allowing the scriptures to guide every aspect of life.
- Support the Poor: Recognize and address the “suffering of the people” and the “poor and needy,” as current leadership often neglects these groups.
- Spread the Message: Carry the news of Ghana’s redemption to “families, fellow workers, friends, and even to enemies”.
- Maintain Integrity: Refuse to be like those who “sell their own children or wives or husbands or their nation” for the sake of their own “belly”.
- Join the Vision: Partner with the church to make the vision of a “compact nation” a reality, beginning with the next anniversary.
Scripture References (KJV):

- “Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.”
- “For the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the LORD, as the waters cover the sea.”
