CHRIST, THE HOLYSPIRT AND THE CHURCH IN MISSION
SERMON INSIGHTS
All that entered my heart was the scripture: what we have heard and we have believed, therefore we declare. There is yet another opportunity to make known the revelation, the purposes, and the glory of God, for there is open a door for divine glory.
The spiritual influence of this mission and what God is releasing on account of our witnessing and receiving these declarations is profound, though we cannot tell the extent of its influence upon the times and seasons of the world around us. I wish we will live to see that day, though it may be another thousand years. The declaration coming forth is the very basis on which creation stands.
We considered the place of creation, and how vegetation, plants, trees, and flowers were spoken into existence—they had no previous experience of existence until they were declared: Let there be. Yet, even this creation, which came from the One in whose Name we are gathered, Jesus Christ, who is the Word has been subjected to demons and spirits, leading people to say a section of the forest must be left alone because the gods dwell there. We must know that this creation came from the One whose glory is the light.
Christ, The Light, and The New Human Race
We must understand the position of Jesus Christ. Prior to His appearing—not His coming, for He was there before He appeared—the Father spoke to creation by prophets and angels. Creation didn’t know Him until He appeared in a human form, and the church considers this the advent or coming of Christ, but I say, it is His appearance.
The beginning of all things was the revelation of God. Before everything became, God revealed Himself in the form of light. He said, “Let there be light,” and He started creation. The Sun and the Moon were created later after He appeared; therefore, the Light that appeared is of a higher status, standing, and glory than the moon and the stars and the sun.
The Father has called and begotten us unto Himself through His beloved Son, Jesus Christ, making us joint heirs with Him. The goal behind this is that the new beings of the Church will bring transformation, create, and establish a new people and human race for a new world of God’s Kingdom glory order on earth. God has a vision of a new human race and a new world order where redeemed man and redeemed creation will constitute a new world more glorious than when Adam and Eve were in the garden.
The beauty and glory of our inheritance in Christ is that we partake in the fullness of His divine nature and glory as the Father’s heir on earth. This arrangement is for the Church to share in the pursuit and establishment of His Kingdom reign and rule on earth.
Christ, The Door, and The Danger of Entering by the Window
The gates of divine nature, authority, power, and glory in sonship are opened to us through Jesus Christ. He is the Door for entry into this divine standing, having made us joint heirs with Him. This Door of divine nature, grace, and glory in Christ Jesus places the Church in a special position, as children of God with capacity and possibilities concerning the Father’s vision and the establishment of the Kingdom of God on earth.
He said you must come by the Door, not by the window. There are those who watch what Christ says, go to Bible school, follow what we do, only to spy and learn how to act as a pastor. They may learn human ethics, how to clap, bang the door, move the body and even put on the vestment of a pastor, but they do not have the anointing or the presence of God; they have entered by the window. You cannot be a pastor except Christ grants you the spiritual grace, the anointing, the pastoral passion, the apostolic stature, and the prophetic capacity. These things come with special divine graces you cannot learn. You cannot take this glorious order upon yourself.
Therefore, those who operate these skills without the Spirit change the church into a human, worldly institution, using the human First Adam power to move things among men. But the divine Door places those who have truly come through it in a special position as children of God, with capacity concerning the Father’s vision for the Kingdom of heaven on earth.
The Triumvirate: Partners in Divine Mission
The Father, Son, and Holy Spirit have agreed that we should be joint heirs with the Father, through Jesus Christ. Christ is not only the Door by which we are born again; He is also the Baptizer of the Church with the Holy Spirit. The coming down and settlement of the Holy Spirit confirms the deal of our partaking in the fullness of the divine nature and glory. The Holy Spirit raises us to a high and higher level of preaching as a divine person.
In Christ, the door of the fullness of God coming upon you bodily is open, and that is when you are baptized by the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit came to add to what we have inherited in Christ, making us complete in the powers and structure of divine nature. This makes Christ and the Holy Spirit partners for Christ’s mission on earth, a mission that took off when Christ was baptized by John the Baptist and the Holy Spirit came and dwelt upon Him.
Now, the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit have decided to do a new thing on earth and have taken us the Church as partners. The Church’s mission is now built upon and embodied with Christ’s vision, purposes, and glory on earth. This is what I call the Triumvirate: Christ, the Holy Spirit, and the Church. Just as Christ needed the accompaniment of the Holy Spirit for His mission, so the Church needs the accompaniment of the Holy Spirit to effectively complement the efforts of Christ.
The new birth and the baptism raise the members of the Church to a different level of existence where they begin to share in divine glory. Therefore, the Church is not a normal human being; it is a divine person, a holy calling, of holy orders, and operates at a different, heavenly level.
The Holy Faith and The Call to High Glory
The Church must understand its identity, which is not bound by cultural or human memory. We must recognize that Christianity is the Holy Faith, the everlasting Holy Faith, and the only faith that opens the door of divine glory to you. All others are imaginations and operations of creatures, whether men or fallen angels, and they cannot stand in the position to pretend they are God.
If you are a Christian, you cannot look to those ‘gods’ for power to do miracles or to gain money and fame. You do not need to bow to these beggarly elements. Jesus said, “All authority is given Me, therefore, go in My name. As you operate, you grow in the divine glory, and there will be a time when you can speak, and creation will obey you.
A Stern Warning: Beware of the Antichrist Glory
It is sad that the Church in many places today is abandoning this holy garment and holy orders of the true Church, which stands as a partner of Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit for the Father’s mission.
Therefore, beware of the Antichrist in the Church. The church of Satan-man, a worldly order and kingdom glory—which is the end-time phenomenon of falsehood. All that they offer is the glory on earth: money, popularity, silver, gold, airplanes, big houses, which they acquire because they have some agreement with Satan. They will not confront Satan to deliver the earth, but instead, they make human sacrifices so they can get that power. They have sold their birthright for a mere pittance of earthly glory and the praise of man.
We must take note of Christ’s encounter and rejection of the offer of the kingdoms of the world and their glory by Satan in Matthew chapter 4. Beware of the dilution, inclusion, and transfer of human knowledge, wisdom, intellect, and power into the Church.
If Jesus was a great power 2,000 years ago and is opening the door for us to be like Him, why do you go and ask for community power, or dwarf power, or mermaid power, or some powerful angels? Which is a better offering: to be an angel or to be a friend and brother of Jesus Christ, a partner of Christ and the Holy Spirit, with the capacity and glory of the divine nature open to you
The church in glory is a missionary church; it is sent.
The Conclusion of the Matter:
O Church of God, stand up and be counted! Take your holy garment, reach out with the Son and the Holy Spirit. This is a blessed work and honor bestowed upon you by the Father. Blessed is the nation and people who have the shining light and glory of the Church. Amen!
