THEME: THE SUPERNATURAL HIGHWAY: FROM EARTHLY REBELLION TO THE FULLNESS OF THE DIVINE NATURE 

The High calling in Christ unto God the Father is a spiritual journey from death to life—from the Satan-man rebellion and disobedience and with its condemnation, curses, and futility, to a state of peace, righteousness, and joy, from human nature to heavenly divine nature, from earthly kingdom order to heavenly Kingdom order on earth as in heaven. All Born Again Christians are a new creation of human race, delivered from captivity to sin and death, Divine wrath, judgement, and Satan oppression, and control in Life, Liberty, and Joy. 

Christ Jesus is the Saviour, Reconciler, Deliverer, Redeemer, and Restorer. He is, in His Spirit nature and works, the Salvation, Redemption, End Nature and Hope of Glory of the Christ new man in Him. In Him, an entrance is made unto us not only to enter and abide in the divine nature and life, but also to enter into the everlasting heavenly life and Kingdom Order of God and its glory both in heaven and on earth. In the access in Christ into the nature and presence of God, the spiritual door is open to us to enter into the fullness of the Divine Nature of God. (John 1: 12-16; Eph. 4: 13; 3:19) 

The process of entry into transformation and perfection in the fullness of Christ and God is also, and indeed, a spiritual journey. On the Way to Glory the people of God enter into and grow in Divine Grace of power, authority, unction, opportunities, and glory as spirit-beings after God in Christ. It is this that qualifies us to Divine heaven power performance, blessing, and opportunities in human society and of heavenly Divine supernatural operations especially with the power and gifts of the Word of God, the Holy Spirit, and the Name Jesus Christ. 

All ministers of God, all laity, and all saints know that the entry into operation and performance in Divine Grace, Attribute, Power, Authority, and Performance are not the end of the journey. But most important still, there is account to give and judgement to face with the grace and glory bestowed upon God’s people for witnessing of Christ, building the church, building, and redeeming the Kingdom, building, and ruling nations.  The Christian calling does not only require holiness, righteousness, and faithfulness. It also demands continued and unalloyed connection with and obedience of Jesus Christ which is the key issue with righteousness. In this respect, we shall not only appear before the judgement throne for our reward at the end at Christ’s coming, but there are three important steppingstones on the journey before we get to the end. 

First, after the New Birth and entry into service, there is the need for clear identification with Jesus Christ. That we partake of the Communion in purity to maintain our connection and identification with Jesus Christ (John 6: 48-58).  Hence Jesus instituted the Passover Feast in what is commonly described as the Lord’s Supper or Communion. In instituting the communion, Jesus told the disciples;  

And He said to them, “This is My blood of the new covenant, which is shed for many. Assuredly, I say to you, I will no longer drink of the fruit of the vine until that day when I drink it new in the Kingdom of God.” (Mark 14: 24-25 NKJV) 

This implies that the New Birth, Holy Spirit Baptism, the Worship and Service of God which all must be done in Spirit and Truth, in righteousness, holiness, and faithfulness before and with God must be followed with a Life of Deep Connection and Identification with Christ in Partaking of His Suffering on the Cross, the Bloodshed, and Body broken on the Cross and with it  the battles of the Lamb of God, with Lucifer, the serpent, the Dragon, the Beast, kings, rulers, principalities, and powers of the world (Rev. 17:14; 14: 12-13). 

It is here that we find the place of those that are invited to the Marriage Supper of the Lamb. We are suggesting the Christian Journey involved a life of sanctification, holiness, righteousness, and faithfulness unto Christ, His Cross, and His mission on earth and other calls. These constitute the essence of Faithful Bride awaiting consummation of marriage and the marriage supper.  

The Bible affirms this: 

“Let us be glad and rejoice and give Him glory, for the marriage of the Lamb has come, and His wife has made herself ready. And to her it was granted to be arrayed in fine linen, clean and bright, for the fine linen is the righteous acts of the saints. Then he said to me, write:  blessed are those who are called to the marriage supper of the Lamb! And he said to me, these are the true sayings of God.” (Rev. 19: 7-9.) 

 Hallelujah, there is yet a third Entry into the city—Access to the Tree of Life and Entry into the City. 

“And behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to give to every one according to his work. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End, the First and the Last. Blessed are those who do His commandments, that they may have the right to the tree of life, and may enter through the gates into the city.” (Rev. 22: 12-14 NKJV).  

The Christian Faith is a spiritual journey involving transformation and transportation from the human and earthly existence to the Divine and heavenly existence in deep and quintessential way. The Christian Life Journey essentially is Man promoted and set on a Divine Supernatural Highway of conduct and performance.  It is built and lived not by might nor power but by the Spirit of God.   

May all who have Christ watch their steps and mark out the landmarks, so they maintain the purity, faith, righteousness, and joy in hopeful and certain expectations. He who promised will fulfill His pledge.
