PRESS STATEMENT 

TITLE: DIVINE DECREE CALLING FOR CONFESSION AND REPENTANCE 

THEME: LET US WORK TOGETHER TO HEAL THE LAND 

Blessed fraternity of the media, fellow soldiers in the service of God, nation and people of Ghana, welcome.  Peace be unto you! 

Blessed be the Most High God the Creator, Father of Jesus Christ for calling for this gathering unto the service of Him Jehovah God and the nation and people of Ghana.  The Most High God has risen to rescue, build, establish and make Ghana a showpiece of Divine Heritage of Glory in Africa and the world. 

For this cause has the Spirit of God risen upon us to bring to the knowledge of nation and people Divine intervention, wisdom, counsel, direction and holy hands on the process of development, progress and prosperity and nation building as a whole.  This is the fifth of Press Conferences we have held towards Divine Working Hand on national affairs. 

The aim of the Divine message we deliver today is to solicit the goodwill of the media to assist in calling the nation unto definite and concerted efforts for the HEALING OF THE NATION in all sectors of the economy, the life of the people and national affairs in general. 

In this regard, we have the privilege to announce. 

1. DIVINE HEALING OF THE NATION 

The Most High God asked us to assure the nation that He has heard, received and taken note of the nation’s heed unto His call for Confession and Repentance of Corruption, Evil Ways and Wickedness in the land, prompted by the craze for power, position and pleasure, gain and fame, due to the love and worship of money in the land.   

That, in view of this, He will heal the land as stated by Him in 2nd Chronicles. 7: 13-14 of the Holy Bible. 

“If My people, which are called by My name, 

shall humble themselves, and pray, 

and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways. 

then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.” (2nd Chronicles. 7:14 KJV) 

Yes, the Lord has accordingly set out to heal the land of the spiritual and cultural malady spread nation-wide because of and through the love and worship of money. 

1. DIVINE RESCUE AND PLAN TO BUILD and ESTABLISH GHANA IN DIVINE HERITAGE of GLORY. 

The Lord has promised to fulfil His promise to rescue the nation, build and establish Ghana in Divine redemption, restoration and establishment in Divine Heritage of Glory as declared by Him in January 2015. 

1. DIVINE JUDGEMENT OF THE WICKED 

That, to establish and maintain the integrity, beauty and glory of The New Ghana of Divine Heritage of Glory, the LORD will bring His judgement upon the wicked in the land so to rid the country of iniquity, evil works and wickedness and the evil effects thereof.  Indeed, the LORD mentioned flood and fire upon the nation before and prior to His call for confession and repentance of corruption, evil ways and wickedness in the land. 

1. DIVINE WATERS OF HEALING AND BLESSING 

The Most High God has explained to His servant that the waters that will flood the land will also serve as a process of healing and resuscitation of the land.  Ghana will witness great harvests and economic resurgence thereafter. 

1. NATIONAL RESPONSE TO DIVINE HEALING  

That, the Divine grace, goodness and mercy in bringing healing and judgement, resuscitation and economic resurgence demand corresponding positive response from grateful hearts by all, government, church, nation and people. 

There is in this respect a ruining culture of negligence of duty, corrupt, irresponsible and deliberative systems of abuse of office, trust and loyalty in many places in the nation.  Righteous, moral, lawful, loyal and due reliable process has been neglected, negated and indeed rejected and set aside in many places and everywhere in the country.  The craze after comfort and pleasure, property, treasure and wealth, gain, silver, gold and money, fame and vain glory has mounted into a golden calf and image being given honour and worshipped everywhere in the nation.   

This spirit, system and culture of deliberate negligence, irresponsibility and abuse of trust must be confronted, rejected and overthrown in every sector of the economy, in individual, corporate and national life. 

HEALING THROUGH PROMOTION AND REWARD OF EFFICIENCY, HONESTY AND HARD WORK, FAITHFULNESS AND LOYALTY.  

There must be established a process of healing and restoration through the promotion and reward of efficiency, hard work, faithfulness and loyalty in the land. In furtherance of this, there must be established national initiatives to inculcate punctuality and productivity, rules of conduct and regulations for sound, efficient performance and output, resourcefulness, diligence and excellent performance in every human endeavour, individual, private, public and national. 

NATIONAL HEALING INITIATIVE BY PUBLIC AGENCIES 

In this respect, we call on public agencies such as the Police, Revenue Collection, Finance and Accounting agencies, MMDAs and all to launch national initiatives to stamp out the spirit and culture of corruption and robbery and waste of state and national resources. 

Again, we call upon the church, educational, professional and cultural institutions to launch House Cleaning Exercise not just for sound, moral and ethical conduct but also for love in the pursuit of righteousness, equity and justice, supported by meaningful disciplinary measures to promote and establish responsible, righteous and loyal conduct. 

Corruption and malfeasance must be stamped out as a matter of urgency with diligent rules of conduct, reward and punishment. 

DECLARATION OF DECADE OF GLORY FOR RIGHTEOUSNESS, JUSTICE AND NOBLE MORAL CONDUCT 

We propose further that the church, schools, colleges and universities, civic education and cultural bodies in the land must declare a Decade of Glory for Righteousness and Justice, Noble, Moral and Loyal Conduct. 

Similarly, initiatives can be launched everywhere in the economy and life. 

THE NEW GHANAIAN AND NATION 

To crown it all, the Most High God has set out to raise up new citizens, dubbed THE NEW GHANAIAN for the country.  They are people born anew, discipled and nurtured in the Love and Light, Grace and Truth, Righteousness and Humility in the Divine nature inherent in Jesus Christ, the Holy Scriptures and the Knowledge of God.  The New Ghanaian shall be a person free from and devoid of the corrupt, unrighteous and wicked ways of men and spirits. 

Such also will be turned away from the idolatry, tradition and dark culture of Africa and the corrupt, evil ways and wickedness of men and the world. 

The New Ghana of Divine Heritage of Glory will be inherited, populated and managed by the New Ghanaian.  This will be the planting and doing of the Lord God Jehovah. 

NATIONAL INITIATIVE OF DECADE OF GLORY BY THE MEDIA 

Finally, we pray that the Media Commission and the Ghana Journalists Association will join hands together to set the ball rolling with a NATIONAL INITIATIVE of DECADE of GLORY for corrective and healing measures against corruption, evil ways and wickedness and the establishment of peace, righteousness, sound, moral, efficient and diligent ethical conduct and excellence in performance, output and products of the media industry in Ghana. 

We are confident institutions engaged in journalism, communication and building national peace, righteousness, integrity and purity, cohesion and unity in the nation will be willing to associate with the media on national initiative of decade of glory. 

Conclusion 

We end by humbly appealing that the media leave here with the clarion call – LET US HEAL THE LAND.  LET US ESTABLISH NATIONAL INITIATIVE of DECADE of GLORY with fullness of assurance and joy that the Most High God will bless all who take up this unique and Divine call for national initiative for healing the country and establishing Peace, Righteousness, Cohesion, Unity, Progress and Prosperity for The New Ghana of Divine Heritage of Glory.
