FOOLISH IS HE WHO SAYS THERE IS NO GOD
THEME: REPENTANCE AND THE PURGING OF FALSEHOOD IN THE HOUSE OF GOD
Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. As an apostle-prophet of Jesus Christ by the will of God to the church in Kumasi, across the country, and beyond, I bring a word from the LORD. On a recent missionary visit to Kumasi, the Lord Jesus Christ asked me to address the Church in Kumasi in particular, and the country as a whole on His displeasure, disapproval, and condemnation of events in the Church.
The Lord is calling for repentance, the cessation of false teachings, doctrines, and practices; the dismantling of wicked devices, of robbery, the seduction, and destruction of His people and seekers after Him, including the weak, afflicted, and oppressed in the land. The Lord has asked me to tell the Church and nation as a whole in this regard that, KISS THE SON, LEST YE PERISH (Psalm 2: 12).
The scripture the Spirit of the Lord gave as warning to the churches is Psalm 14, specifically verses 1,4,6, and 7. By way of emphasis, let us quote verse 1 that says: “The fool hath said in his heart, there is no God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none that doeth good.” (NKJV).
There are many ministers, churches, teachers, and practices—church programmes and devices purported to be concerned with the proclamation of the gospel of Christ, the salvation, healing, and deliverance of people and the establishment of worshippers in the faith, light, way, and knowledge of God which are, in reality, corrupt and wicked devices designed to rob, steal, kill, and destroy. As verse 4 indicates, the teaching and practices, the programs, gatherings, and ventures are devices “to eat up people as they eat bread.” In short, the teachings and programs are means to make merchandise of the flock, to rob people of their money, wealth, and treasures, and worse still their dignity as human beings and standing as children of God.
The truth is that many churches have stopped preaching and teaching about Jesus Christ, the Cross, and Heaven. They abandon the truth, light, way, and knowledge of God, peace, righteousness, judgment, holiness, and faithfulness the core issues of the Kingdom of God on earth. Instead, many have gone the “way of Balak,” and are now only concerned with money, wealth, power, position, fame, success, and dominion in a world dominated by physical, emotional, and material pleasure, earthly joys and glory.
In the light of the Spirit and Word of God, such ministers of the Church – apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors, archbishops, bishops and elders are workers of iniquity whose damnation and judgment is well recorded in the scriptures.
Notwithstanding these facts, these men and women act as though there is no God. That if there is God at all, He is dead or blind, weak, or incapable of defending His Truth, His Name, and His People. To them, God seems to be weak and therefore incapable of meeting the needs of the millions who worship Him daily.
Some ministers deliberately work to rob, steal, kill, and “eat up” the people of God with false teachings and wicked seductive, flattering exhortations to amass wealth, power, fame, control lives, and affairs of people; they even collaborate with the wicked in the robbery, exploitation, and oppression of peoples and nations. Others go out to consult spirits and powers of darkness for power, devices, and means to rob and steal, seduce, destroy, and kill worshippers and seekers of God, the weak and needy, the afflicted, and oppressed.
In this regard, we can talk of three sets of false prophets, teachers, and workers of iniquity among ministers in the church;
I. MINISTERS AFTER THE WAY OF MAN (1st Corinth. 2: 1-5)
There are Ministers that deny the truth and inerrancy of the word of God and the ministry of the Holy Spirit. They resort to human spirit and “mind power” for philosophies, theories, and ideas of men for the salvation, deliverance, and conduct, social order and life in general to the neglect of sound biblical teaching and Holy Spirit counsel. They believe in and sometimes mix the counsel of God with the wisdom of men. Light and darkness have no fellowship.
II. MINISTERS of SATANIC POWER, LIGHT, AND DECEPTION (2nd Corinth. 11: 13-15; Rev. 16: 14; 19: 20)
There are ministers who consult spirits and powers of the dark world for power, position, and wealth, for large following, gatherings and crowds. They employ deceptive powers and sorcery to command human, financial, material and physical resources to their beck and call. They boast of Satanic and human corrupt and wicked practices and deception, riches and wealth, chasing after position and fame.
III. MINISTERS THAT TURN AWAY FROM CHRIST, MIX AND OPERATE WITH SATANIC AND HUMAN POWER AND WISDOM, AND ENGAGE IN RELIGION, WORLDLY GAIN AND GLORY (1st Tim. 4: 1; Col. 2: 8-9; 2nd Tim. 4: 3-4)
There are men and women caught in the web of hypocrisy and apostasy, the attraction and joys of earthly and worldly existence and consider no more the sufficiency of Christ, the Truth and Knowledge of God and Holiness unto Him. They turn away to “another gospel” of power, position, possessions, riches, and wealth, the issues of life, fame and glory in worldly fashion and by worldly standards. They build their empires, fame and glory on the back of Christ, the riches of God in the name, authority and power of Christ and convert the gospel of salvation, redemption and restoration into a means of earthly joys and gain, and the short and dark worldly glory of Satan and fallen man.
All the three sets of workers of iniquity act as though there is no God, that there is no need for the knowledge and true worship of God and observance of His truth, law, commandments, way, and His earthly Kingdom order. To such and all in the Church and the world who reject God and His anointed one, the Spirit of the Lord says KISS THE SON, LEST YE PERISH (Ps. 2: 12) It is God’s wish and design that men, nations, peoples and the world be delivered from imprisonment, captivity and damnation in the Dark Wicked and Hopeless World. O, that the salvation of Ghana will come out of the Church!
