GOD HAS NOT ABANDONED NOR FORSAKEN GHANA
THEME: DIVINE SOVEREIGNTY IN A SEASON OF TRANSFORMATION
This is an Open Letter to the Church, People, and Nation of Ghana. The Most High God has asked His servant to inform, assure, and counsel the Church, People, and Nation of Ghana that He—Jehovah God, the God of Ghana, Creator of heaven and earth—HAS NOT ABANDONED His position, sovereignty, and supreme control over Ghana as God, King and LORD of the nation.
“I have not forsaken My chosen nation and people for whom I have great plans for the reconciliation, redemption and restoration of glory to Africa and nations of the world. O people of Ghana, be silent and know that your God reigneth. I have not abandoned nor forsaken My chosen nation and people.”
“Salvation comes from nowhere. Salvation comes from no man. Salvation comes from no power. It comes from the Lord God alone. I am God of your lives. I am God of Ghana so shall I be God of Africa and unto the uttermost parts of the world. But all things will begin in Ghana so shall it be forever and ever. I am God and will continue to be God in Ghana and in Africa. Soon and very soon, it shall be well and the glory of the Lord will be seen in Ghana. All men shall call this nation THE BLESSED of THE MOST HIGH GOD.”
YEAR 2013 THE YEAR OF CHANGES
According to the Lord, the Year 2013 will be a Year of Change. He is on the move to bring changes in the country, so to confirm and consolidate Ghana as His chosen nation and people redeemed, married, and established in His Kingdom for His praise and glory in Africa and the world.
Changes will, therefore, take place in the entire nation but particularly in the Church, in Politics, Governance, and in Business in the land. Ghana must know, seek after, and observe the will, truth, peace, righteousness, justice, and godly conduct in the knowledge, fear, trust, and hope in the Most High God. For example, according to the Lord, there has been and there is much shouting and noise in the church in Ghana, but the hearts of many are far from Him. Thus, there seems to be collusion in religion, politics, governance, and business in the land, in ways and conduct far from the knowledge and fear of God, as well as His plans and destined glory for the nation and people.
Business in Ghana is being conducted in ways far from the requirements for peace, progress, prosperity, and well-being of the people caught in pain and poverty, low development, weakness, and struggles in life. Politics, governance, and business in the country are being conducted in total disregard as it were of life conditions, weakness, and needs of the people. Indeed, profit, gain, power, wealth, fame, and vain glory supersede all considerations.
Indeed, religion, politics, governance, and business in Ghana—a nation in which Christianity, religion, and the “worship” of God are a dominant feature—are now dictated by the lust of power and gain, money, wealth, and fame. They have overridden conscience and law, spiritual, and moral direction as well as compassion towards the poor, weak, and needy in an otherwise developing country. There seems to be little or no reference to the development dynamics in policies, measures, and conduct in poverty-ridden nation and people facing backwardness and social and cultural challenges.
Government policies and transactions with the business sector, on one part, and business transactions and conduct on the other do not appear to be oriented towards the poor or the needs for national development and social progress. Instead, profit, gain, and power are the “guiding light.” For example, while social intervention measures such as the National Health Insurance Scheme (NHIS) are being dislocated and robbed of benefit and effectiveness to the poor and needy, through corruption, inefficiency, and robbery prices of drugs and cost of quality hospital administrative and medical services are on the increase. The situation is throwing the NHIS into jeopardy, meanwhile throwing serious challenges to the people—particularly the poor, needy, and weak—who are, for all intents and purposes, the people of the country. The rich and well-to-do are by and large the minority in a developing country such as Ghana.
Now without pretending to be fully apprised of the mind, intentions, and plans behind God’s plan to bring about change in the country, we are persuaded that proper orientation with sound teaching and exhortation, truth, righteous, and honesty from the pulpit, political deliberation, discourse, and government policy formulation, execution and political conduct as a whole can go a long way in directing business and general conduct towards building and establishing peaceful, righteous, and just society and nation conscious of the needs and responsibility towards the poor, needy, and weak, while helping the strong, endowed, and well-placed to direct their energies, fortunes, and opportunity in society to build a viable, stable, secure, and peaceful nation in the knowledge, fear, and honor of God.
It is here that the Church from among whom politicians and businesspeople, leaders, executives, and professionals, entrepreneurs and industrialists, employers and employees are drawn, can play a vital role in ordering, building, and establishing sound spiritual, moral, social, and cultural order and values for the country as a whole.
We end by assuring the nation and people of Ghana once again that OUR GOD REIGNS. That the political tension, agony, fears, sorrow, and mourning that have gripped the nation will soon pass away. JEHOVAH GOD, the God of Ghana is on His Throne in the nation.
No one can mount the seat of government and rule Ghana without the approval and sanction of Jehovah. Amen!! Let us hold fast our faith, trust and hope in God.
God bless Ghana!
