JESUS CHRIST THE SAVIOUR
SERMON INSIGHTS
The Restoration of the Divine Connection
Central Spiritual Truth: Salvation is the reconciliation of the human spirit to its original source of life and light, which was severed by the fall.
- The Word as Origin: The speaker identifies Christ as the “word of God” who was and still is the origin of human beings.
- The Breach of Sin: Sin caused a “disconnection with the divine spirit source,” leading to a loss of the “light of man.”
- Reconciliation through Belief: By believing and receiving the preached word, the sinner’s connection with the “core inner being” is restored, leading to the new birth.
The Fourfold Spiritual Salvation System
Central Spiritual Truth: God has provided a “perfect divine mechanism” composed of specific spiritual tools to safeguard and guarantee the believer’s salvation.
- The Name: The authority of the Savior is invested in His name, which serves as a shield for the believer.
- The Blood: The blood of Jesus Christ provides the legal and spiritual basis for the forgiveness of sins and protection.
- The Word of God: The Word is the active agent of faith and the “light” that directs the new life.
- The Spirit of Christ: Receiving the Spirit “afresh into our beings” provides the power to live according to the divine nature.
- A Guaranteed System: These components are not human inventions but a system “safeguarded and guaranteed” by the Triune God—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
The Victory of the Overcomer
Central Spiritual Truth: The connection with Christ empowers the believer to be victorious over the enemy even while remaining in the flesh.
- Victory in the Flesh: The speaker declares that though the believer is “in the flesh,” they “shall be victorious” because of their connection to the heavenly realm.
- Facing the Enemy: Armed with the Name, the Blood, and the Word, the believer is commanded to “face the enemy” with the certainty of overcoming.
- The Wisdom of God: Christ is presented as the personification of God’s wisdom, which far surpasses the schemes of Satan.
- Scriptural Anchor:
“But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption.” (Ref: 1 Corinthians 1:30).
The Reality of the New Birth and Reconciliation
Central Spiritual Truth: True salvation results in being “born anew,” transforming the believer into a reconciled child of God through faith.
- Forgiveness and Reconciliation: Having sins forgiven is the first step that leads to being “reconciled with God.”
- Born Anew: This transformation is achieved “through belief in that same word that is preached,” resulting in a total internal change.
- Consolidation of the Inner Being: The gathering is intended to “consolidate and to deepen” this core connection with Jesus Christ.
Exhortations, Prayers, and Calls to Action
- Behold the Savior: The speaker commands the congregation: “Behold Jesus Christ, the Savior. He is Savior and Lord of man.”
- Accept and Obey: The only requirement for this system to work is “to believe, to accept, to receive and obey Jesus Christ.”
- Face the Enemy: Believers are exhorted to use their “connection with Christ” to overcome whatever the enemy does to their lives.
- A Call to Faith: “He who believes in Him shall be an overcomer.”
Concluding Proclamation: “Christ’s salvation system is a wisdom of God released in him. He has become our salvation. All that is needed of us is to believe.
Amen.
