SYNOPSIS
Each child of God is born of Christ, baptized by the Holy Spirit and has free access
to the Father and therefore must develop a personal relationship with the God the
Father for himself through Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit.This is the truth that
sets every child of God free from the false teachings of men and philosophers.

TRANSCRIPT
Look at the products of the Catholic church and see whether these are the people
going to heaven. We don’t need to talk about the Musama Disco church or Jesus of
Latter days or Jehovah witness or this church or that church. Even Otabil’s church,
think about them, think about Duncan Williams church, the prophetic theologians
and all the rest, think about them. What is the kind of products they have
produced? Are they bearing fruits of wheat or tares? Brethren, we don’t need to go
far to know them. So, this morning, he said, “my son, the time of separation has
come. When I begin to teach this, I’m going to be killed. I was killed when we
were preaching Holy Spirit. When we were talking about the Kingdom of God,
they said I was preaching politics. Now, when I’m preaching, they will say I’m
denounce the church and Christianity, but we must preach it, because Jesus is soon
coming. The time of supplication and harvest is here today but you must know
where you stand yourself and you must know whom you believe, and you must
know the kind of fruit you are bearing.
We spoke last Sunday of the churches of Satan and man. These are the thorns that
are showing forth their kind of fruit clearly. You go to a church, and they use
psychology, psychoanalysis, sorcery to tell you fortune. I learned there are some
churches, who are even practicing fortune telling. There’s a church on the Akim
Oda Road. The church of Prosperity and you take things there. You don’t need to
go far to get to know them. Even the people of the world know some of these
things. Brother Dadson was telling me there are people preaching theories and the
lecturers at the university who teach these theories know that this is not from the
word of God but the books that they are teaching in the university. Management
principles, psychology. The philosophers at the university who have been teaching
these know these preachers are not preaching Christ.
I don’t need to persuade you, nor do you need to argue with them. By the fruit you
shall know them. What is the fruit they bear? They will tell you that they have
cars, they have buildings and congregation. Is that the fruit we bear? No! We bear
the fruit of Christ. The Christ in me is the fruit. If I’m a born of Christ and I’m a
tree of Christ, what fruit should I bear? Christ! That’s the fruit I bear. I produce
Christ. People are telling me, Brother, as for you anybody who passes through your
ministry is good and sound. What do I produce? Christ! I don’t teach them lessons;
I don’t send messages. I don’t do anything. Have you seen me giving messages?
No, I don’t give a message. I don’t write prophecy and give it to you that this
is what God says. No, I don’t do that. If I want you to know, I pray that God will
tell you so you know God for yourself not to pass through me that I should go and
write down prophecies to you. No! I don’t believe that. If I don’t, if I only make
you to be dependent on my prophecies, you will not learn to know Christ yourself.
So, I must teach you how to seek God for yourself and know him for yourself. You
become dependent of a man, and he will begin to take advantage of you. He will
take all your money and your property by false prophecies. That’s who they are,
even in the church. They want to persuade you, but you must be a man of God, a
woman of God yourself. After all, is the word of God not with you? Is Christ not in
you? Are you not born of the Holy Spirit? Are you not baptized by Holy Ghost? Do
you need somebody to tell you that you are a child of God? Somebody will come
and tell me that I feel that God is calling me, will you tell me? I say, after I’ve told
you, wherever you are, you’ll be always asking me to tell you. If God has called
you, you must know for yourself. God can send people to give us messages then
we pray and find out whether the message what is true and maybe by the time it
comes, you have already got a word. But you don’t direct your affairs by what
somebody tells you. The God your God, is your God So, go to him yourself. Are
you hearing me? I said, go to the man himself and hear from the horse’s own
mouth. There’s nothing wrong if somebody comes and says, I saw a vision about
you, right? Remember the woman was trying to prophesy over Paul. What did she
say? These are the men, the prophets of God, they are coming.
I don’t like people to prophesy over my head but not that I reject it. When I went to
London, I said they should pray for the pastors and so I knelt for the church to pray
for me. Then an English lady who says she’s a Scotch started prophesying about
me. She was prophesying about my ministry in Africa, how the forest is, and I look
like a blazing fire and making highway in the forest and people will try to
challenge, but they cannot. It is not new to me. So, she was only confirming what I
know. If you were me, after closing, I’ll go to this woman and ask her what did you
see? Did I hear properly? And madam, what did you say? Then when somebody
asks what you say, right here, you say, come to my house. I’ll give you more. We
shall pray together. The girls, they will sleep with you. The men, they’ll take your
money. The women, they deceive you.
I hope I’m speaking to my children. And you understand. They shall know the truth
and the truth shall set me free. This is the word the Lord gave me for you
today. That you must know the truth. As we prepare ourselves for this end-time
kingdom army mission, we need to ensure that we ourselves stand and shake not in
the truth. We must know the truth of God. We must know the truth of the scriptures
and the Holy Spirit. Then we must know the truth in our relationships.
First, the truth of God. Our knowledge of God and the things pertaining to God
must be truth. God is verity and truth. There’s no darkness in him. He said, anyone
who follows him, there will be no darkness in him. You must know the truth. You
must know God for sure. Liberian version. Let nothing come and pretend he is
God before you. So, you must know the truth of God and you must know the
scripture, the truth of the scriptures and the truth of the Holy Spirit.
You see, the Holy Spirit and the scriptures work hand in hand. Jesus said, the
comforter is a spirit of truth. He will never deceive you. Somebody cannot just get
some prophecy or something over your head and then you go crazy. If you don’t
know the scripture, they will deceive you. You must know the scripture yourself.
Search the scriptures, we are told today and learn for yourself and grow in
the might of the scriptures and of Jesus Christ. You know the problem with these
people? When you are searching the scriptures, don’t depend upon your
understanding, depend on the revelation from the Holy Spirit. Let it confirm
within your spirit that this is the truth.
Then the Lord called my attention to the truth also in our relationships. That’s what
3rd John is all about, the truth in our relationships. Summary of it. Love and
truth. This is the word the Lord gave me for you today, Ye shall know the truth and
the truth shall set you free. We find it in John chapter 8 verse 32. I’ll give you some
leads. Number one. In John chapter 8, Jesus confronted the Jews who stood starkly
for the law of Moses and religion and challenged his authority and power. Jesus,
after demonstrating his power and authority, which they were doubting all the time,
told them in verse 12, I am the light of the world, He that follows me shall not
walk in darkness. There was a discourse in verses 15 to 19. You remember they
caught the adulterous woman and what did they do? They were going to throw
stones at her. But the Bible says that it was not the adulterous woman that they
were after. What were they after? They wanted to create a snare for Jesus. They
want to see whether Jesus was a religious man and would go by the Mosaic law so
that they would accuse him of undermining their religion. So, Jesus began to write
things on the ground. Everyone standing there had a fault. The one that interested
me most, even the children left. Even the children were not found innocent.
Jesus found something about everybody. And maybe some people even didn’t wait
for their story to be told. But when they believe in a strong man, maybe you
believe in brother Dadson, and they wrote something about brother Dadson you
ask yourself If this man can fall, how about myself? Then you advise yourself. So,
the people began to depart one after the other and soon Jesus said the old people
have gone and he asked the woman, where are your accusers? I think the woman
was dumbfounded. Then he said, go and sin no more so, the woman left. Jesus
didn’t fall into the trap. He was not going to be taken on the side of the religious
people, and the Pharisees, and hypocrites. He didn’t fall on their side instead, he
told them that, I find fault with you too. He said, “He who said there’s no sin in
him, let him cast a stone. Let’s even leave that one. But the people judged
themselves in the light of the truth about themselves and about God, and they left.
Nobody dare throw a stone.
Who can stand in the light of God? He who walks after Christ cannot walk in
darkness. If we know the scripture, there are many things we can avoid, especially
in our relationship in the church. I want you to note the confidence Jesus had in
himself. His stance as a sent out one, and the truth of his message that he was
preaching. You know, it is not Jesus they were annoyed against, but the truth he
was preaching and because he was declaring the truth, the people were annoyed.
So, they wanted to create a trap for him, so that he could fall in it, and they could
kick him out. That is what the enemy does. As we are in this church, for example,
and you are not wise, and you are not loving, and you are not kind, and you don’t
know God, you create traps for your brothers and sisters in the church so that when
they fall in it, you begin to say that is how they are so they ought to be killed and
finally they won’t speak again. The problem with Jesus was that he was carrying
the truth and they hate Jesus for the truth. Much more, Jesus claims that he is the
child of God. I mean, that was even worse. We know your father, and we know you
are the son of Joseph the carpenter, don’t we know your brothers in the house?
How can you pretend and tell us that you are a child of God? That’s what some of
you would say. How can this man say he’s a preacher? How can this man say he’s
an evangelist? How can this man say he’s a prophet? How can this man come and
prophesy in the church? Don’t we know you? Is what the person is saying of God,
or of your grandmother? Is it of God? So, is it the truth that he’s saying that you
want to kill her, or him? Is it because he stands and declares the truth of God, that’s
why you destroy him or her? Or is it because you hate him that he’s sent out?
Because Jesus was sent, they want to kill him.
I told you they didn’t kill the woman because of the woman. Because they all knew
that they were all adulterous. They all knew that they were sinners. If it came to
that, none of them could stand. But what they were aiming at is the truth that Jesus
was preaching, and his presumption, his claim that he was the son of God. And
that’s how they kill the prophets of God. That’s how they destroy the people of God
because they claim that they are the children of God. You know, they told Jesus on
the tree, what did they say? The other man said, you are the son of God, save
yourself. You said you are a mighty man, now you are on the tree, save
yourself. Even the sinner was able to tell Jesus, save yourself. Can you imagine
that? There was another sinner, what did he say? Lord, remember me when thy
kingdom comes. He told his friend, as for this man, he’s innocent, but we are
sinners, and we deserve what we are doing. But this man, he’s a holy person.
Oh Lord, remember me when thy kingdom comes. Jesus said, today, thou shalt be
with me in paradise. He has the power to forgive sins.
He has the power to take the soul out of a dung hill and make him a beautiful
person. He has the authority to present him to the father, even on that day. No
baptism, no accept Jesus Christ as Lord, my personal savior. No Holy Spirit
baptism, no speaking in tongues, he said let us go. And he took him. Who can stand
and judge Jesus for saving a soul, or for using somebody. Who are you to accuse
Jesus of using somebody, or calling somebody, or sending somebody out? Who are
you? You shall know the truth, and the truth shall set you free.
It is necessary in this respect that, as we worship and serve God, we should truly
seek to know him. Let’s seek to know Jesus. He said, “My ways are not Lord, and
my thoughts are not your thoughts. You behave like men. It’s true, you behave like
men. When they saw people trying to preach about Christ and cast out demons they
said, they have not got a right to do so. No, we belong to your camp. We, we are
the apostles, we have seen you do miracles. We only have a right to do this. Jesus,
can’t you give us the will to kill them? They have no right to be presumptuous. And
Jesus said, do you know yourselves? Do you know what is in you yourself? You
don’t know yourself, and you want to go kill somebody. Suppose what is in them is
what, by which they kill them, then you too will be dead before you get there. But
even you I have covered you. Do you know yourself?
You shall know the truth. If you know Jesus, if you know that the pains he took on
the cross to save a soul, you can’t stand before the soul that Jesus saved and destroy
that soul or condemn that soul. Who are you? Are you right yourself? Where do
you stand amid all this? You must know the truth. Because we don’t know Jesus,
we think he is like us. He must think and do things like we do. But we can’t pretend
that we don’t have our own biases, and our fears, our strong points, and our weak
points. But even that, Jesus loves us. And when we pray, he hears us. He doesn’t
say that this is a sin, I won’t hear him, I’ll put him on the waiting list. In fact, if he
were here, he would pick the sinner first. Because I didn’t come for the righteous, I
came for sinners and heaven is rejoicing that that sinner is praying. Meanwhile, the
people around here said, he doesn’t deserve Zacchaeus. How dare you Jesus go to
eat in Zacchaeus’ house? You eat with sinners. Yes, that’s how we are. Because we
don’t know Jesus. Let us seek to know Jesus. He has great love, compassion, he
died for that person, even as he died for you and it is his desire that this person also
can make it. It is his desire that even that man on the tree by him shall also go to
heaven and he did not wait, he did not count the sin of the person but took him on a
jolly ride. Let’s go, today, you shall be with me in paradise.
He told Zacchaeus, today salvation has come to the house. I will eat with you.
Meanwhile, the Pharisees and the Jews had assembled, and they were holding a
meeting at the back of the house. Jesus must be killed. He eats with sinners. What
right have the son of God? He claims he’s the son of God. Do you think this man, if
he’s the son of God, can eat with such people? He’s talking to prostitutes. There are
some people who are saying that Jesus had a girlfriend, and his girlfriend was
Mary Magdalene, and they are even writing books about it. Can you see that? So,
if Jesus had Mary Magdalene and so what who has right to judge him? Who has
appointed you judge over Jesus? Let’s know Jesus Christ and let us know his voice.
You know, when I was considering the voice, the way he works, you must know
how God works. He has no fixed way of working. You can’t make a formula for
God to work on the formula. Are you hearing me? I said you can’t create a theory
or a formula, this is the way God works, anyone who does not work that way is not
of God. No. You must know him, and know his voice, so that when he speaks or he
works, you can tell this is of him. Then you don’t be careless and sin against the
Holy Spirit and sin against God.
Know the ministry of the Holy Spirit. Let us know the ministry of the Holy
Spirit, the Holy Spirit. If you have a discerning spirit, that’s good. You need it in
the church. We need a discerning spirit, that’s why it has come. God has given us a
discerning spirit, so that the church is not deceived. We must know the Holy
Spirit. We must know his voice. We must know the way God works because there
are people that have gone out to deceive and destroy that’s why we must be
strong in the name of God and his voice. And we must know the content of his
messages. For example, the prophecy came, we should go and tell…we should be
able to tell whether this is of God or not. Otherwise, sometimes we can be deceived
and then we send our weapons to the wrong place and draw us into unnecessary
battles or waste of time. We must know that. We must be diligent in all humility, so
that God will find a true abode with us. Amen.
We must know the object, the purpose, and the spirit of the messages. When the
Lord is speaking in the house, for example, what is the object? What is the
purpose? And what effect does God want? Are we assessing the object, the intent
of God in the message, or we are assessing the way it is spoken? If it doesn’t fall
within our pattern, then it cannot be of God. But it can fall within our pattern, and
yet it may not be of God. And we need to be able to know. Let’s know the voice of
God. Let’s know how God works. Let’s know the Holy Spirit. When we know the
truth about God, the truth about the Holy Scriptures, and the truth about the way
and works of the Holy Spirit, we will not only be free in ourselves, but we will also
not be careless in our approach to the things, the teachings, and works of God so
that judgment does not come upon us.
Jesus was judging the people who were criticizing hum. He didn’t take a whip to
whip them, their own convictions sent them away and the woman was left alone. I
told it was not the woman they wanted to kill but Jesus.it was the truth they wanted
to destroy. People are serving God and he wicked men and women of the world
decide they will stop the servant of God from carrying the gospel. We should not
be part of that. We cannot share the same table with the wicked man and we should
not be the instrument or a snare for the children of God, so they fall in it and put
them to shame. If we do that, we become servants of Satan. Indeed, it is our duty to
help our people out of their problems and not push them into it. Don’t take
advantage of the weakness of your brethren so you can destroy them. That is very
wicked. If someone takes advantage of your weakness, who do you expect to come
to your aid? Do you expect Jesus to help you after you have done that to one of his
children?
Let us desist from lies and evil works. Works of darkness that hinder our own
works and the works of others for God. We should not obstruct Gods works and
purposes. We will be able to build a meaningful, happy and joyful relationship at
home and the church if we walk circumspectly, know who we are and who will
serve. The lord spoke about our relationship in the world and in this church and if
we want to tell lies, spread lies, live on lies, enjoy lies, and do the works of
darkness to destroy for whatever the intentions may be, let us not do that. Let us
not concoct lies and let us not fancy and take interest in lies and the destruction of
our fellow brothers and sisters. The lord will have me call attention to lies and
strife in the church. Let us seek to know God, his works and purposes and the truth
about his word. Let us study the scriptures to know the mind of God and how the
spirit of God works and let us learn to walk, work and do things as to the leading of
the holy spirit. Jesus said judge no man in the flesh but in the spirit. If you know
that the brother or sister is a sister in the Lord, then don’t judge them in the flesh.
Take him as a child of God and look at this spirit of God in him and lift the person
up. Don’t take advantage of the weakness of the person and cast him out inn the
street that the spirits that pass by will see him in the street. It will be so bad if you
cast somebody out of the church into the street, then where are we going. Did you
bring them to the church to destroy them or cast them back out in the street. The
woman caught in adultery was first condemned by the Mosiac law. The tenets of
religion. The desire wasn’t to kill her but to challenge Jesus Christ. They wanted to
know what Jesus will do, and they wanted to see Jesus fail but Jesus did not fail.
Brethren, when we plan evil, tell lies, plan to condemn, destroy and kill one
another, especially fellow laborers for whatever reason to provoke and trap Jesus,
do we want to see how Jesus will defend the brother or sister? Do you want Jesus
Christ to say this is my son or daughter? I am going to defend her. Can you stand
it? when you provoke Jesus like that, when you take a cane, tell lies and plan evil
against the child of God, are you telling Jesus that he is not capable of protecting
and defending his church? Do you want him to take his fullness and power to
protect his own against you? If you are attacked, will you call him to do that? If
Jesus had not been able to protect the faith where would GES be today. If he had
allowed the enemy to destroy us, would we be here? are we judging God or we are
calling him to attention, waking God from sleep and telling him that his people are
going wayward so he should do something about it if not we would do something
about it. Is that what we are doing? Do we see what Jesus did to the adulteress? He
set her free.
That is the church’s mission; to set the captives free not to put them in prison. He
sent the church to deliver and set captives free not to judge or destroy or kill them
in their captivity. Beloved, let us work to set captives free, let us not tell lies. If a
man has the truth, he should walk in love. If you have facts about somebody you
don’t like, tell the person in love and not in condemnation and destruction.
