LET THE NATION MARCH FORWARD
THEME: NATIONAL STEWARDSHIP AND DIVINE DESTINY
We write this piece in celebration of God, Victory, and Hope for the country. To be sure, the state ship is adrift in dangerous waters. The political confusion and tension, insecurity and uncertainty, mourning and sorrow following General Election 2012 is a subject of deep concern to both men and God—particularly to men of peace and goodwill, true commitment and loyalty to and hope for peace, progress, and prosperity of the nation.
Indeed, there is no question of a “winner” or “loser” for the personalities and political parties involved in the imbroglio. Ghana and many African and exploited and oppressed nations and people will be the losers. Thus, unless the matter is carefully and honestly, righteously, and justly handled—not by the Judiciary alone, but by the entire leadership of the political parties—Ghana, the beloved country will suffer much pain, sorrow, and woes to the detriment of all, particularly the millions of youths of the day and generations following.
It is, therefore, incumbent upon all the players—including the Armed Forces and Security agencies—to seek for and raise high the banner of Righteousness, Peace, and Goodwill; Truth and Honesty, Love, Loyalty, and Faithfulness to all; and a commitment to stability, security, progress, and prosperity of the country as well as the STANDARD of OATH of OFFICE, and duty to the nation and its people, and the destined glory of the nation. For example, one cannot imagine Ghana Armed Forces and Police—famous for UN and International Peace Keeping Mission—engaged in political subterfuge or military schism in support of government terrorism, political party intrigues, and domination, foreign machinations and roguery to run down our country and destroy the rising star and destined glory of the nation. God, Ghana, Africa, and the world—both present and future generations—will not forgive such a debacle.
While we humbly and earnestly appeal to the Electoral Commission and Staff alike, as well as candidates and political parties, to come out in honest and true submissions and declarations before God—the God of Ghana, Creator of heaven and earth, and Father of all spirits—we cannot but warn the personalities, interest groups, and collaborators about the rise of evil works, evil men and evil practices in the land to which Jehovah God Himself has called attention.
The perpetrators of such heinous evil cannot escape the reprobation of present and future generations, nor the wrath and judgement of the all-wise, all-knowing, and righteous God and judge in the affairs of men, nations, and His creation. Incidentally, it is this same Jehovah God, Creator of heaven and earth, who has chosen Ghana for His Inheritance and Kingdom Glory in Africa and the world. It is He that has delivered, redeemed, established, and is supervising the rising star of Ghana as a peaceful democratic, progressive, and prosperous nation and people. No doubt, He will defend and protect His Name, His Good Works, and His Good Intensions towards the country.
In this regard, we trust that no political party, no government, and no citizens of Ghana will go out to sell the country on a silver platter, to rob her treasures and wealth, and to transport the destiny of the country into disaster. It is for this reason that we write appealing to the Electoral Commission, President John Mahama, the Candidates, the Political Parties, the Lawyers on all sides, and the Supreme Court Judges to place truth, facts, honesty, righteousness, and justice on one hand, and the peace, progress, stability, security, and destiny of the nation on the other part above personal and group interests and glory, the technicalities of the law, the level of argument and the variables in human conscience. Ghana is precious for bargaining merely with wits and learning.
Finally, for the sake of the FORWARD and ONWARD MARCH of the country—held in the merciful and blessed hand, guiding light, and protection of the Most High God—we appeal to the Church Elders to rise up standing in Truth, Righteousness, Holiness, and Faithfulness before God, as well as the Chiefs, Elders, and People of the country. May the Chiefs and Elders to whom the people, dead and living, look unto as fathers and custodians of the good and glory of the tribes and peoples of the nation set themselves in readiness to prevent any fracas and ensure peace and stability, unity, and togetherness, and high ground morality and loyalty to nation and people. We can come out victorious and noble in the love of the country and in genuine pursuit of peace, tranquility and stability, progress, prosperity, and good of the country. Above all, we can establish a standard of Love, Truth, Righteousness, and morality, knowledge, trust, and hope in God for many nations and peoples. People of Ghana, let us not allow personal and political ambition, and the lust for power, and wealth, and evil works and practices of darkness to rob Ghana of Peace, Progress, and Prosperity on one hand and Divine Mercy, Goodness, and Hand on the other.
LET THE NATION MARCH FORWARD! We are people of God, a beacon of hope for Africa and oppressed peoples of the world!
GOD BLESS GHANA!
