THE HOLY SPIRIT

SERMON INSIGHTS

The Nature of God and the Gift of Time

Central Spiritual Truth: God exists outside of time and creation, yet He invites you to offer your life and your moments as a blessing to Him.

  • While time is precious to us as humans, it is fleeting and insignificant to God, who existed before the sun, moon, and stars were brought forth. You must recognize that today and tomorrow are nothing before Him, yet He still desires to receive your blessings in this very hour.
  • I urge you to pray in your heart, “Holy One of Israel, Mighty God of Ghana, receive me now,” as a sincere offering of your presence. Acknowledging God as the creator of the wind, the earth, and the waters positions you to understand your small but significant place in His divine purposes.
  • We must thank the Father for bringing us together, remaining deeply humbled by the opportunity to reflect on His timing and His glory. The Spirit is prompting us to see that our lives are a gift that should be used to honor His holiness.
  • You are called to look beyond the fleeting nature of the world and find stability in the one who will live long after the continents have passed away. This realization should lead to a state of constant worship and gratitude for the moment we have been granted.
  • Scripture Reference: “I am the Lord: that is my name: and my glory will I not give to another, neither my praise to graven images.” (Isaiah 42:8).

The Holy Spirit as the Agent of National and Personal Change

Central Spiritual Truth: True transformation of the cultural and political order is only possible through the power and guidance of the Holy Spirit.

  • The Holy Spirit is moving across the land to bring truth, light, and victory to the church and the nation alike. He is the one who empowers the people to overcome the spiritual deception and darkness that often cloud human leadership.
  • Ghana is being prepared to shine as a light and a seed for a glorious new work that God is performing across the entire continent of Africa. This is not a human effort but a divine movement intended to establish a heritage of glory for all nations.
  • You must allow the Spirit to transform your social and political outlook so that you no longer rely on the broken systems of man. When the Spirit of the Lord is involved, joy and hope are restored to those who have been forgotten or oppressed.
  • The purpose of this divine power is to bring about a total renewal of the human spirit, making it possible for you to live righteously in a corrupt world. We are being called to participate in a movement that shifts the very foundation of our society toward Christ.
  • Scripture Reference: “Behold, the former things are come to pass, and new things do I declare: before they spring forth I tell you of them.” (Isaiah 42:9).

The Emergence of a Holy Remnant and Royal Priesthood

Central Spiritual Truth: God is raising a faithful, vigilant remnant to act as a royal priesthood that will liberate those trapped in spiritual darkness.

  • There is a remnant in Ghana that is holy, righteous, and faithful, serving as the primary agency for God’s work in this generation. This group is called to be a vigilant royal priesthood among the nations, standing firm against the tide of wickedness.
  • With this remnant, Christ will establish a divine heritage of glory that serves as a covenant for the people and a light to the Gentiles. Your role is to be a part of this chosen group that refuses to bow to graven images or worldly pressures.
  • This priesthood has the specific mandate to open blind eyes and bring out prisoners from the prison houses of spiritual and mental bondage. You are called to reach those sitting in darkness and lead them into the marvelous light of God’s presence.
  • The strength of this holy nation lies in its total dependence on the Lord’s hand, which keeps and holds you through every trial. This is a call to step into your identity as a spiritual noble who carries the authority of the King of kings.
  • Scripture Reference: “I the Lord have called thee in righteousness, and will hold thine hand, and will keep thee, and give thee for a covenant of the people, for a light of the Gentiles; To open the blind eyes, to bring out the prisoners from the prison, and them that sit in darkness out of the prison house.” (Isaiah 42:6-7).

A New Song of Praise from the Ends of the Earth

Central Spiritual Truth: Redemption leads to a universal declaration of God’s praise that reaches from the wilderness to the mountain tops.

  • You are exhorted to sing unto the Lord a new song, letting His praise echo from the end of the earth to the deepest parts of the sea. This worship should involve everyone, from those inhabiting the islands to those living in the cities and villages.
  • Let the inhabitants of the rock sing and shout from the top of the mountains to declare the glory of the Lord. This universal praise is a sign that the former things have passed away and God’s new creation is taking root.
  • Even the wilderness and the isolated cities are called to lift up their voices in recognition of God’s sovereign power. There is no place so remote that it is excluded from the duty of declaring His praise in the islands.
  • When we give glory unto the Lord, we are participating in a heavenly chorus that acknowledges His name as supreme over all creation. This act of shouting His praise is a spiritual weapon that shatters the silence of despair and announces His victory.
  • Scripture Reference: “Sing unto the Lord a new song, and his praise from the end of the earth… Let the wilderness and the cities thereof lift up their voice… let the inhabitants of the rock sing, let them shout from the top of the mountains.” (Isaiah 42:10-11).

 Exhortations and Calls to Action

Central Spiritual Truth: You must actively yield to the Spirit and take your place in the divine mission to bring light to the world.

  • Offer Yourself Today: Do not wait for tomorrow, but ask the Holy One of Israel to receive you and your moments right now as a living sacrifice.
  • Reflect on Your Nature: Take time to reflect on yourself in the light of God’s holiness and ensure your desires align with His eternal purposes.
  • Join the Holy Remnant: Commit to being part of the faithful church in Ghana that acts as a light to the rest of Africa and the world.
  • Shout His Praise: Do not be silent; lift up your voice from wherever you are—whether the city or the wilderness—to declare that God is the Lord.
  • Walk in Victory: Trust that the Holy Spirit is bringing you victory and joy, and use that strength to help free those still trapped in darkness.
  • Scripture Reference: “Let them give glory unto the Lord, and declare his praise in the islands.” (Isaiah 42:12).
