THEME: DIVINE GLORY IN HIGH CALLING, IN CHURCH AND WORLD 

PREAMBLE 

Thanks and praise to the Lord for the presence of my father, The Rt. Rev. Dr. E. H. Brew-Riverson. Thanks be to God for his true, deep, and glorious identification with Christ, Church Mission, and the Church Body. Most assuring is the long-standing connection, commitment, and support with GES and Enoch Missions and Bro. Enoch. May God Almighty, the Father, bless and glorify His servant, our father and friend. We remember his wife. We acknowledge the wonderful support and fellowship of the wife. Now the Breaking news Talk this morning on the Holy Orders of Church Mission led us to the key issue in Church Mission: This is Eternal Life …  

“And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.” (John 17:3 KJV) 

 –The Only True God and The One Sent  

The Church Mission –  The Church—Founded, Built, and Established by Jesus Christ has one glorious task: To witness of Christ and make known the Father, the only true God, and the Son, given and sent—Jesus Christ, so people can escape eternal damnation. 

The Lord’s word to His servant—That the servant of God is dedicated to and is doing very well standing with Christ and making known Father and Son to the world. It is for this cause, Christ founded, built, established and is leading the Church in mission through the years to redeem man and end the perishing world. Now the height and eternally standing nature of Christ Mission however is: To build and establish the Kingdom of God and His Christ, Government, Reign and Rule on earth—that is with peoples and creation, nations and the world.  This is what the Lord told His servant concerning the Kingdom of God Mission in September 1984: “THE CHURCH IS DERAILED CONCERNING THE KINGDOM OF GOD MISSION.  Bring The Church Back on Track for Me” 

That was the year, we first met our chairman.  We were speaking at a church conference in Kumasi with theme “Righteousness Exalts a Nation…”. The conference was dedicated to the Church’s task, role, and contribution to Building the Nation Ghana. Today, we are attempting to examine more closely the Kingdom of God and His Christ in the Nations and the World. We are taking this up in this second Talk at the conference for obvious reasons. The Kingdom of God and His Christ, Reign and Rule on earth, in nations and the world will be the height and greatest evidence and testimony of Church Mission—and the Establishment of Divine Glory in nations and the world. Let us invite and surrender to the Holy Spirit to lead and direct us in our deliberations on the Kingdom of God and His Christ. 

INTRODUCTION 

Church Mission and its ramifications in the Witness of Jesus Christ and the service of God, on earth: 

I. Reconciliation, Salvation, Redemption, and Restoration of Glory to Man and Creations, nations, and world. 

II. The Deliverance, Redemption, Transformation, and Reconstruction of Nations 

These two constitute condition and integral part of building the Kingdom of God and His Christ on earth. Essentially, the Kingdom of God Mission pertains to restoration and establishment of full non-divided control, reign, and rule of Jehovah God—the creator of heaven and earth—on the earth on similar terms similar to what prevails in heaven. In heaven, there is only one God: Supreme and Sovereign reigning and ruling King—power and control. There is no alternative, challenging, and dissenting spirit and power in heaven. Lucifer was cast out because he attempted to raise an opposing or counterpart authority, power, reign, and rule in heaven. Unfortunately, cast-out Satan has combined with Man to raise a reign, rule, and control the earth as gods and kings.  

This is the spiritual background, base, and rationale for Christ and His Church Kingdom Building Mission on earth—in the nations and the world. Essentially, the Kingdom of God and His Christ Mission in the world implies or entails the establishment of the Government, Kingdom, Reign and Rule of Jesus Christ in the nations, first and foremost for ultimate transfer of all reign and rule on earth to the Father. (1Corinthians 15:24-26). That is to say, the Church’s prime God Kingdom Building task is to redeem peoples and nations from “Satan-man” rule and crown Jesus Christ as King, Lord, and Governor in all nations and the world. Our historic hymns, “Jesus shall reign where’re the sun…” and “And Crown Him… (All hail the power of Jesus name…),” are not merely songs; they are declarations of this spiritual takeover. 

THE KINGDOM OF GOD AND HIS CHRIST MISSION 

(Isaiah 9:6-7; Matthew 6:9-13, 33; Matthew 24:14; Revelation 11:15)   

To establish the Kingdom of God and His Christ, the mission entails: 

a. Preaching, Teaching, and Discipling peoples and nations with the Gospel of the Kingdom. 

b. Engaging in Warfare to Reconcile, Deliver, Redeem Peoples and Nations from captivity under the old Satan-Man dominion, oppression. and control systems. 

c. Overthrowing Satan-Man dominion, kingdoms, and thrones—spiritual warfare. 

d. The transformation of the old order and establishing peoples and nations under the Father.   

e. Herein lies the open door for raising new spiritual and social order, political, and cultural arrangements that honor God the Creator and bring peoples and nations under Divine Blessings and Glory through Christ reign and rule.  This is the new order through which Divine Glory comes to rest upon peoples and nations. 

f. The crowning of Jesus Christ as King, Lord, and Governor of peoples and nations.

The combined effect of the Kingdom of God mission is to create a ‘New People’ with a new spiritual and social order, politico-economic, and socio-cultural life and conduct based on the light, way, and knowledge of God. We describe the outcome as The Kingdom of God as a Social Reality. The Ghana Kingdom Building Mission story is stated in the book “The Ghana Redemption Story.”  There is A New Church, A New People, and A New Nation of Divine destined glory and given the name Beulah. The New Ghana of Divine Heritage of Glory will see Christ Government and Kingdom, Reign and Rule of the country. The Christ factor is the everlasting divine nature and glory and heritage in Jesus Christ.
