THEME: GOD MUST LEAD GHANA’S TRANSITION TO RIGHTEOUSNESS 

Except the LORD build the house,they labor in vain that build it: except the Lord keep the city, the watchman waketh but in vain. (Psalm 127:1) Praise and thanks be to God Almighty for the New Year.  We entered Year 2007 with excitement and joy at the promises and prospects of The Jubilee Year. Jubilee Year 2007 proved itself as the year of celebration as the prophecy foretold at the beginning of the Year.  Ghana witnessed the Goodness and Mercy of God. Ghana became the focus and toast of the nations.  President Kufuor rode on the crest of the wave of Divine Mercy and emerged first as a creditable leader for the New Ghana, with redeemed and restored glory as Star of Africa and second as Chairman of African Union. 

Unfortunately, Year 2008 is opening with men who believe not in God nor with due respect for His majestic Hand in the affairs of men, but in their own knowledge, money and contact, human imagination and machinations in a mad rush for power.  Because the terrain has been rendered peaceful, quiet and stable by Jehovah God and is pregnant with brightening prospects, everybody wants to take over the reins of government. Unless the Lord’s mercy continues to abide with the nation, unless President Kufuor keeps his trust, faith, and humility before God intact, and unless the people of Ghana are kept from by the craftiness of Satan and wicked machinations of men, Year 2008, the Year of Election, will witness much political turbulence and social disarray. To be sure, Year 2008 is slated not only to be a year of preparation towards peaceful transfer of power, in the Divine scheme of things, but also the beginning of a period of transition for the country. 

The period 2008-2012 is intended by God to be a period of transition that will bring change from the old ways of politics and social order under Satan unto a New order of politics and social order in the light, way, knowledge and honour of GOD, the creator. That will consolidate Ghana’s position and glory as truly a nation and people, redeemed and made holy unto God, a nation sought out, chosen and married by God for His praise and glory in Africa and in all the world. 

It would appear in this respect that the men vying for the reins of government and the political machines being set in place have no place for God and have no plans to allow Him to order things, much more to establish the new spiritual and social order of divine glory for the nation. For example, the CPP, in all practicality, does appear to be hankering for the old Nkrumahist philosophies and CPP operational tactics.  The NDC on their part has shed no tears nor even sweat to seek for a change in its spiritual mooring, political philosophy, tactical strategy and image.  The feet of the other political parties are not yet on the ground. 

The NPP on the other hand does seem to be indifferent to the fact that it is God that redeemed the nation and opened the Red Sea for the entire nation to pass through into freedom and liberty.  That, it is God that handed over the nation to them on a silver platter. 

Instead, the NPP now seems poised to turn to their old ways of politics, philosophies and wisdom, and the vomit of politics of human pride, human knowledge and human frowardness. These are developments with prospects of grave consequences for the country.  The days of alliance between Satan and Man, between local and foreign powers, between traditional and international religions of deceit, exploitation, oppression, robbery and stagnation, between witchcraft and cults, domestic and foreign in the manipulation of affairs of the land are gone and must be seen to be gone. 

Africa cannot be run anymore by the dark forces of satanic power and captivity, human intrigue and wickedness, in short, the forces behind the political economy of darkness and death, backwardness and foreign manipulation, oppression and robbery of old. We call upon the people of Ghana to reject not only the old ways of politics and social order full of lies and flattery, cheating, calumny and intrigue, but also the whole edifice of Satan-Man Alliance, tradition, religion and culture of blood sacrifices, wicked oppression and lying wonders, of witchcraft, sorcery and charms that paved way for Divine judgement and foreign exploitation and control of the destiny of the nations of Africa. 

There is need for a new bottle for the new wine of the New Ghana.  There should be no reverse turn to the old politics of acrimony, wickedness and satanic ploys, when leaders ruled by Satanic coercion, military regimentation and wars, the subjection of people, the abuse and robbery of resources of the nation and the dignity of man, otherwise created in the image of God. In this respect, we denounce the deployment of money power in politics.  That is to say, the politics of cash for power that breeds paternalism and patronage is not only stinky but also constitutes an abuse of trust.  It constitutes an insult and debasement of the dignity and conscience of man, and a means for the perpetuation of poverty, corruption, abuse of power, exploitation and oppression. It denies folks the right to good and sound thinking and good conscience in decision-making and conduct concerning their well-being and affairs. It is deplorable before God and men. 

The money power rule is therefore an unacceptable philosophy for conduct and social engineering.  It is a system weak on truth and honesty, honour and dignity in building a righteous, just and equitable society. Now, the LORD God Jehovah, who has redeemed the country from the Satan-Manpower structures and human wickedness and brought the country to this new state of peace, stability and hope through Jesus Christ the son given cannot handover the nation back to Satan and the abuse, exploitation and oppression by wicked man. Ghana Christian nation, Beulah Land, God Kingdom Glory State, Star of Africa is the standing of the New Ghana, the New Jerusalem.  Nothing can change this, if the believers and people of Ghana as a whole can acknowledge, honour and glorify God, and seek and cling to God, His reign and rule of the country. 

In this regard, the people of Ghana must be aware that in denouncing Satan and Wicked Man and their wicked ways and clinging to God the Creator alone, the nation will no more drift into captivity at the mercy of the politics of old, CPP versus UP, Nkrumah versus Danquah-Busia, Military versus Civilian Rule, Traditional Satanic and Blood Sacrifices versus God and Christ Blood atonement and mercy.  No derivative of the old order is equally acceptable. 

Let All the People of Ghana continually pray to call upon the Creator alone for peace, righteousness, justice and liberty to be fully established and entrenched as the way of life and hope in the new Ghana.   

May we let God be the builder and watchman of the country. 

Thank God, He will not let Ghana GO.
