THE STORY: OUR STORY
THEME: THE CONSECRATION OF A CITIZEN-SERVANT FOR THE REDEMPTION OF THE STAR NATION
Blessed be the Most High God, who has elected, called, chosen, equipped, and anointed us—and the Church in Ghana—into His everlasting service as soldiers of the Cross, servants of God, and members of His Everlasting Kingdom Army for the proclamation, building, establishment, and defense of THE KINGDOM OF GOD in the nation and Africa.
Our territory for the “God-Kingdom on Earth” mission is Ghana and Africa, with wings extending into the Middle East, Europe, and the Americas. The God-Kingdom mission has a vision and mission similar to the “Rebuilding of the Broken Walls of Ghana” mission of the Ghana Evangelical Society. God wants to re-possess and re-establish His Kingdom, Dominion, Reign, and Rule on earth in God through the Son, Jesus Christ (Psalm 2: 6-12).
Below is the vision the Lord gave His servant at the beginning of the redemption and reconstruction of Ghana. (note: the illustration is in the pdf file).
Ghana reconciled, delivered, redeemed, and restored as a de facto and de jure Christian nation. Ghana—Beulah Land, God Kingdom Glory State, and Star of Africa—is a Nation and People redeemed, married, and made holy unto God under Christ (Messianic) Government and Kingdom Order. Jesus Christ is God, King, Lord, Governor, and King of Glory of the New Ghana. He is King of kings and Lord of lords. Amen!
THE MISSION IN GHANA IS ACCOMPLISHED—THIS IS THE STORY: OUR STORY
Ghana—a New Church, a New People, a New Nation under God—given a New Name as Beulah Land, The New Jerusalem is the work of Jesus Christ, the Ghana Evangelical Society (GES), the Church Body, and the Nation of Ghana story.
THE MISSION PROCESS
We started from a desire, vision, and mission developed while I was an undergraduate student at the University of Ghana, Legon. Deeply pressed with concerned over the state of Ghana and Africa, I accordingly began to prepare to become a servant and citizen unto God, the Church and the Country whether through academic field or politics.
My academic studies were pursued with a vision of playing a part in raising citizens with vision, passion, and loyalty to God and country. The academic studies were also intended to help raise policies, measures, and direction to political and economic development and social progress of Ghana and Africa. I settled on Political Science, Economics, and Sociology as a starting point, integrating philosophy, law, and political action for the advancement and defense of national development, progress, and prosperity. My ultimate goal was to be engaged in the defense of the poor, needy, the weak, and oppressed in society.
Though I had clear opportunities to specialize in Sociology and Political Science, I opted for Economics during an era when national development was the focus of the immediate post-independence era. The socialist-animated, nationalistic leadership of Osagyefo Dr. Kwame Nkrumah presented a challenge to everyone with a vision and passion for Ghana/Africa.
To be sure, I was an ardent admirer of Osagyefo right from age sixteen (1950), when I wrote a poem in honor of him. However, by year 1962, I became disappointed and frustrated with the ominous, hypocritical, selfish, and dictatorial pretensions displayed by the Osagyefo. This was most evident in his 1961 Dawn Broadcast in which he ran down K. A. Gbedemah and Kojo Botsion—his stalwart lieutenants of the CPP. It was clear he wanted to assume full powers, taking sole control of the CPP and claim exclusive honor for the Ghana emancipation movement.
Furthermore, at the 1962 CPP Congress in Kumasi, he threatened to employ full power of the party, government, and state against so-called ‘budget politicians’—parliamentarians and citizens expressing misgiving and opposition to the first-ever government austere budget. This threat may have prompted the Kulungugu bombshell shortly thereafter.
The persuasion towards politics in place of the academic field was prompted by the promptings and thrust into campus politics by public demand thrown in by fellow students. I served two terms as Legon Hall President and one term as SRC Secretary at Legon.
By 1960, the Divine Reign and Rule over Ghana—established during the colonial era through the priestly and prophetic influence of the Church over spirit and mindset of the citizenry—was rejected. The standard of moral uprightness, conduct, and lifestyle in leadership, management, and governance, all rooted in the knowledge and honor of God was rejected and replaced by a mixture of traditional-idolatry and atheistic-humanist philosophy and ideology. This shift fundamentally altered politics, leadership, governance, and the overall conduct of the affairs of the country.
Simply put, the spiritual and social order of peace, goodwill, righteousness, and hope under God established in the colonial era was rejected, overthrown, and replaced by a ‘Satan-man order’ in defiance of God, the knowledge of Him—specifically the Law, Commandments, Light, and Way of God in the stipulations of Holy Writ.
However, there is now a New Ghana composed of a new people, delivered and redeemed from the Satan-man spiritual and social order. The old order held dominion over many nations, exerting degrading and dehumanizing influences on the body politic and life in Africa. The true story now it that Ghana is Free: Africa is Free.
