THEME: THE DIVINE RESCUE OPERATION: RECLAIMING THE SPIRITUAL FOUNDATIONS OF THE NEW GHANA  

PREAMBLE 

The vision at the Christian Youth Summit April 5, 2014, was “BEHOLD, A NEW DAY HAS DAWNED.”  

The Gathering was called upon and directed towards taking Knowledge of God and the acknowledgement and Honoring of Him for the open door of glory for the church, nation, and people of redeemed and blessed Ghana has been established in Divine Heritage and Destined Glory as nation and people of God and God Kingdom Glory order evident in the Kingdom of God and His Christ in the nation. The hope at the Youth Summit was for the establishment of Foundation, Pillars, and Framework for building and establishing the church, nation, and people and therefore, government in the worship, knowledge of God, and His Kingdom Glory order of truth, life, liberty, peace, righteousness, judgement, justice, and joy of the Lord.  

The Emerging Leaders Gathering of June 14, 2014, is unfortunately taking place at a time of serious national crisis and distress caused primarily according to the Lord by a LEADERSHIP CRISIS in both the Church and Government, and the nation as a whole. This development has by definition provoked Divine anger and wrath, which will surely have dire consequences. The primary cause of the crisis says the Lord; is that Leadership in church and government has drifted away into the Rejection of God and His Redemption, Restoration, Kingdom Agenda and Path of Glory for the country. God on the other hand has not abandoned His choosing, redemption, restoration, and establishment of the nation under Him.  

As we observed in the first address, the rejection of God and return to Idolatry, the worship and ways of Satan and money, the adoption of the ways of fallen wicked man’s knowledge, wisdom, and ways have drifted the nation, people, and government into deep waters of distress, destruction, and death. Instead of taking up appropriately the building of the nation, the leadership crisis is causing destruction, desolation, and death, the return of woes, mourning, and sorrow.  Private and public enterprises alike are on the brink. IMF & EU help will not heal the deep sore of sin. The challenge of the hour is how to rescue the drifting nation threatened with drowning and collapse in the high sea of nation building and nationhood. 

The Emerging Leaders Gathering cannot but address the challenging situation, consider the need for Repentance from Satan and Human Power, Knowledge, and Wisdom—and the evil and wicked ways of men and call upon God to rescue, save, and heal the nation. (2nd Chronicles 7:13-15). 

INTRODUCTION 

At this juncture, we will call for a deepened search into hearts, minds, and ways of men that have drifted the nation into distress and the threat of drowning and collapse on the high seas of nationhood. To be sure, the Lord has sworn “I WILL NOT LET GHANA GO.  I WILL RESCUE THE NATION.”  The Lord God Jehovah is calling for people who will join Him in the Rescue Operations.  Where are the righteous, humble, and holy in the land? 

The critical question for consideration by Emerging Leaders of Ghana is not so much who is on the side of the Lord as “Who Will Join and Serve with Christ in the Divine Rescue Operations?” The Rescue operation cannot be but by the church people in the land. There is nowhere else in the land to find or raise righteous people for God. 

We have concluded that Emerging Leaders Gathering has a Divine and national duty to respond positively and offer to serve in the Divine National Rescue Operations. There are three things to do in that respect; 

a. Repentance of Evil ways of men (2nd Corinthians 7: 12-15; 2nd Chronicles 7: 12-22) 

b. Denounce, overthrow, and cast out of the gods, dominion, kingdoms, and thrones of the fathers and wicked and unrighteous lords of the land. This is a serious Kingdom battle mission. 

c. Seek to build and establish a highway of truth, holiness, righteousness, and faithfulness in the worship of God and service of God and country. 

Beyond these actions, we must: 

I. Raise a Holy Standard of values, conduct, character, and performance in the righteousness of God in the church and nation, in government, business, and professions in life enterprise and the pursuit of happiness and eternal life (Isaiah 62:10; 1, 6-7; Matthew 6:9-13, 33; Psalm 1). 

II. Raise a banner of love, righteousness, and loyalty. The love of God, country, and people in the spirit of love, wisdom, knowledge, and power of God is the way of truth and hope (Isaiah 62:10; Matthew 5: 3-16; 6:9-13, 33; 22:37-40).

CRITICAL SITUATION IN NATION 

Aside from the leadership crisis in the Church and Government, there is now: 

A. The rising tides of Satanism and idolatry, unrighteousness, injustice, evil and wicked ways—including corruption, robbery, thievery, and abandoned malfeasance almost everywhere in the church, politics, and government, in the public services, business, and the professions, in education and culture, private and public enterprise. 

B. In the church, the standard preaching, teaching, and practice is the solution of problems of life and challenges to gain and profit, success, possessions, and worldly glory and not the truth, growth, and maturity in Jesus Christ and the Divine nature, the worship, and service of God in spirit and truth by the Spirit, Mind, and Power of God (in Christ, the Holy Spirit, the word, and knowledge of God) through sacrificial service, bearing the cross, and following Jesus (cf models and examples for pastors and flock alike today are the rich and successful with worldly glory not Jesus Christ, the Apostles and Prophets of the Bible and history). 

The foundation has been broken and abandoned in many places. Thus, apostles, prophets, and bishops, as well as politician, ministers of state, and legislators who profess to be Christians are steeped deep in lies, falsehood, corruption, robbery for power, position, possession, and fame. Judges and lawyers, policemen and soldiers are being openly accused, charged, and confronted with corruption, falsehood, and unjust adjudication. Law and order has broken down in Ghana. This is the greatest challenge to Emerging Christian Leaders, yea, servants of God, church, people, and nation 

Emerging servant/leaders –  

Address the foundation, goals, and direction of your churches, ministries, life, and enterprise, as well as your conduct, character, performance, and hope in life enterprise in the worship and service of God. Beloved, what is the driving force, spirit, power, and goal of your church and ministry and enterprise? Who is the God, reigning, and ruling spirit of the church/ministry? Who is the reigning spirit of your work—God, Satan, yourself, or man? 

CONCLUSION 

We leave here with the revelation, understanding, and knowledge of God (Ephesians 1:17-19)—His Truth, Light, and Way for His Church, the nation, and His people everywhere. Rise to awareness and consciousness of Divine Path of Glory and the standard and highway of righteousness and effective leadership conduct style and conduct acceptable to God and pleasing to Him. Define, pursue, and defend your destiny in true surrender, adoration, worship, and service of God, man included. 

Above all, Emerging Christian Leaders must be ready to confront the risen tide of the Three D’s in the church and in Christian leadership, management, and conduct of affairs of the country.  Meanwhile, learn of and follow Jesus Christ.  Respect and honor the apostolic foundation of the church. Meanwhile, we must repent on behalf of the leadership and nation and Seek, Pray, and Call on God to Rescue the drifting and sinking nation. Join the Christian Army for Christ National Rescue Operation. The Day of Glory has in fact come upon us. The rescue operation and salvation of the nation will serve as Platform for the New Day of Glory for the new Ghana set under the watchful eyes and blessed Hands of Christ, the Father and the Holy Spirit. 

Blessed people, it’s time to Arise, Shine and Glorify the God of Ghana.
