THE WOES OF AFRICAN POLITICAL AND ECONOMIC ENTERPRISE (PART II)
THEME: SPIRITUAL SOVEREIGNTY AND THE DAVIDIC MANDATE
It is here that— as a Christian exposed to the knowledge of God, the truth and power of the word of God and the Holy Spirit, plus the liberating and redeeming grace in the Spirit, Truth, Love, and Faith of God, we feel sad that the church in Africa is yet to fully embrace the truth, power, and authority in the Spirit and knowledge of God to help break both the Satanic and human chains holding Africa in captivity.
God’s love for man is not higher towards Europe than Africa, nor for the white man than the black man. The Word of God is available for the salvation to all who believe. The Spirit, Truth, Power, and Authority and Grace of God in the Christian Holy Bible is free to all who believe, repent and confess trust in God through faith in Jesus Christ, Son of the Living God.
Christ Jesus—the Way, the Truth and the Life—is the door of the Divine nature and graces. He has completed the human redemption and restoration mission. He has won victory over sin, Satan, and death. He has released His Spirit, power, victory, and blood to all who come to Him— individual, household, village, town, tribe, people, and nation—to overcome Satan and fellow wicked man and create new peoples, new societies and new nations.
Africa can and does have liberty, full non-inhibiting access and right to Jesus Christ. His name, blood, Spirit, and Word are the keys to power and victory for deliverance and redemption from Satan and all spirits and powers of darkness. Furthermore, He is the Spirit behind all creation, seen and unseen, animate and inanimate, on earth and in the heavenlies. Christ is sufficient to break the chains of spirits, principalities, powers, poverty, backwardness, domestic, and foreign domination. He is the Prince of Peace whose government and kingdom is everlasting, whose scepter is righteousness, and whose Kingdom has no end.
If Africa shall know, remember, and call upon Jesus Christ, backwardness, poverty, economic stagnation, foreign oppression and social desolation will flee. Peace, righteousness, progress, prosperity, and joy everlasting are the promised land. Africa is free in Him. Africa shall be free if she avails herself of the victory won and the peace, righteousness, and liberty in Him, Jesus Christ.
In this connection, the Prophet Isaiah was made to deliver a message of hope to nations and peoples in captivity and desolation. Isaiah’s prophecy gives hints as to the possibility of Divine redemption and end of the Forsaken and Desolate people and their political economy through Divine intervention, redemption and marriage. (Isaiah 62). Ghana has undergone this critical Divine liberating and redemptive engagement with the gates of the wicked and desolate political economy. The highway of righteousness through faith in Jesus Christ has now been firmly established. The spiritual and social banner of the Lordship of Jesus Christ has been raised over the country (Isaiah 62: 10). Christ has been crowned as God, King, Lord, and Governor of Ghana. Hallelujah!
The Most High God has accordingly married and declared Ghana “Beulah Land,” Nation and People Holy unto Him (Isaiah 62: 3-5, 12). God has raised an army of watchmen over the land (Isaiah 62: 1, 6-7).
Three things remain now, however;
- Ghana needs a David who has a heart for God—one who is pure, true, honest, loyal, and faithful toward God, country and people. A leader who will establish an administration of peace, righteousness, justice, joy, and hope in the knowledge, fear and hand of God.
- Government administration with understanding, dedication, commitment and loyalty to God and country, the development and progress of the people. Such God-honoring nationalist-oriented government will by policy strategy and operation develop economic and social policies aimed at healing and breaking foreign exploitation, oppression, and control of the political economy. (Ezekiel 21: 27).
- There is critical need for the breakdown of the regime of corruption and fraud, the dependency syndrome and cup-in-hand economic arrangements. However, this will not be possible unless there be a general review of education geared towards spiritual, political, and social transformation in the knowledge, fear and honor of God and loyalty to nation.
In this generation, we have a unique opportunity in Ghana to build a Church founded in the Truth, Holiness, Righteousness, and Faithfulness of God. We have the chance to establish government, a people, and a nation rooted in the knowledge and kingdom of God on earth.
“Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord; and the people whom He hath chosen for His own inheritance.” (Psalm 33: 12)
“Righteousness exalteth a nation: but sin is a reproach to any people.” (Proverbs 14: 34 KJV)
“Pray for the Peace of Jerusalem: they shall prosper that love thee. Peace be within thy walls, and prosperity within thy palaces.” (Psalm 122: 6-7)
Let us seek and worship God only. Let us establish His Kingdom of Peace, Righteousness, Justice, and Joy so, Freedom, Liberty, Progress, Prosperity, and Goodwill will flourish and flow to all.
God Bless Ghana!
God Bless Africa!
