THEME: CHRIST ESTABLISHES GHANA AS THE BEULAH LAND OF PEACE 

Praise Ye The LORD.  A New Ghana is Born.  Out of the debris of the confusion, political stalemate and hopelessness that began in the sixties, God has brought out a new country and people for His Glory in all the earth.  The Divine wrath and judgement that set the confusion and pain in motion and halted national progress is over.  

Ghana can now sing a new song, a song of redemption and joy saying: 

“O LORD, I will praise Thee: though Thou was angry with me, thine anger is turned away, and Thou comfortedst me. Behold, God is my salvation; I will trust, and not be afraid: for the LORD JEHOVAH is my strength and my song; He also is become my salvation.” (Isaiah 12:1-2) 

The mourning days are over.  Praise the Lord.   Peace, Righteousness, Justice, Joy and Hope are what God has worked out for and now happily presents to Ghana the country beloved, chosen and redeemed by Him the Living God. 

God by Christ and His Church has liberated, redeemed and made out of Ghana a new nation blessed with a new church, a new people and a new (form of) government. The Church, Government and People of Ghana today are a completely new thing from the church, governments and peoples of the sixties through the nineties. 

The LORD GOD of Hosts who has chosen and worked this out through deliberate intervention and determined efforts over the past 40 years has espoused the nation and her people unto Himself and married her, declaring her A BEULAH LAND, The Holy People, Redeemed of The LORD, Sought Out, A City not Forsaken as can be found in Isaiah Chapter 62 of the Bible. This is the new status and the envisioned and expected glory of The New Ghana.  Glory be to God.  Hallelujah. 

Furthermore, the Living God has given the nation a new name. THE NEW JERUSALEM is the name. The new name is indicative of the Divine election, choosing, liberation and redemption of the country on one hand as well as God’s own plans for the future of the nation on the other. Ghana, Beulah Land, New Jerusalem shall be a land of peace, righteousness and justice, progress and prosperity where God the Creator will reign and rule supreme as God of the land and people.  As God of the nation, He will save and protect nation and people from Satan, the wicked and evil and bless her with His Peace and Righteousness, Goodness and Prosperity, Joy and Hope. 

The New Jerusalem shall enjoy Divine protection and economic and social arrangements free from the spirits and powers of darkness that for centuries have held and still hold many nations and peoples in captivity and dominion. 

The redemption of Ghana is the forerunner of the total redemption of Africa, and subsequently The Black Man the world over.  Glory be to God. The builder, provider, protector and defender of the New Ghana shall be the LORD GOD of Hosts Himself.  The scriptures describe this state of affairs as “BLESSED IS THE NATION WHOSE GOD IS JEHOVAH, and the people whom He has chosen for His own inheritance. (Psalm 33:12). 

It may be pertinent to mention in this regard that the political instability, economic frustration and social distress the nation and people of Ghana have passed through these past 40 years are part of the Divine interventionist works to redeem the nation and people and establish her at the place and threshold of peace and glory He the LORD God Jehovah has chosen and intended for the country. 

Now, the 40 years wilderness experience began in the immediate post-colonial era with the economic problems that erupted in 1961 and which got heightened with the fall of Nkrumah in 1966, was stretched further through volatile military and civilian regimes that brought no significant and meaningful changes on to and including the fall of the Rawlings (P) NDC regimes in Year 2000. 

Year 2001 saw the end and turning point in the Divine interventionist and redemption works in the country and the beginning of a new era of Mercy, Peace, Righteousness and Justice, Truth and Liberty, Progress and Prosperity, Joy and Hope based on the Knowledge, Fear and Honor of the Living God as God of the land. 

In this connection, there is much work of healing to be done, so as not only to enable the people of the country to regain confidence in themselves and in the land and accept the challenges of national reconstruction but also to re-engineer political, legal, economic and social institutions and cultural attitudes in social re-ordering as a whole for the new era. 

It can be said without any controversy in this regard that the fall of the (P) NDC regimes is the height of divine act of liberation and redemption for the country.  The truth is that the Rawlings (P) NDC regimes witnessed an unprecedented rise and combination of satanic rebellion and man’s disobedience against God. The fester of human wickedness and bloodshed, bribery and corruption, unrighteousness and injustice and darkness rampant in Africa rose to heights in open defiance of God, and peoples’ or human conscience, law and order, decency and good conduct in the nation’s affairs.  It was an era of Lies, Lawlessness and Blood (Death) (LLB/LLD). 

GOD SAVED GHANA 

It took the Mighty Hand of God the Creator Himself to liberate the nation from the working power of Satan and Wicked Man, redeeming nation and people from satanic captivity and the otherwise full consequences of rebellion, disobedience and bloodshed, or in short, of sin and death. 

The fire of Divine wrath and judgement became tempered with divine mercy and goodness to allow stable and non-obtrusive transition from the old order to the new order.  Thanks be to God. 

That is to say, the Kufuor Administration, which began in 2001, marks the beginning of the new era of divine mercy, peace and glory upon the nation.  The new era will be marked in practical terms with political, economic and social stability, the re-engineering of social institutions and social order as a whole established in and undergirded by the outstretched hands of God, His Knowledge, Love, Wisdom and Power in public and private affairs. 

The old order of satanic power and captivity, human wickedness and flagrant abuse of power and social structures will be replaced with a new order of truth and life, peace and justice under the power of the living God engendered as it will be with open and honest acknowledgement, obedience and honor of God, the true worship of Him alone, and respect for His Name, will, law, counsel, intent, plans and purposes for the country. The LORD has established and mounted His Throne of Glory, Reign, Rule and Governance of the nation in the land.  After all, this is a nation and people chosen, redeemed, married and set apart for and unto Himself as people Redeemed and Holy unto Him. 

THE NEW ORDER 

It goes without saying that from henceforth, beginning from the Kufuor Administration great caution needs to be given and observed by all citizens, particularly, governments regarding Idolatry, Blood Sacrifices, Corruption and Wicked Works and Disloyalty in national affairs. It would imply that henceforth governments of the country must ensure vigilance in conscious observance that Ghana does not return to idolatry and bloodshed, unrighteous and wicked works, and the application of Satanic power and human wickedness in the running of the affairs of the country.  The days when chiefs and politicians, soldiers and businessmen and even ministers of the Church consulted oracles, resorted to charms, sorcery and witchcraft should be gone.  THEY ARE GONE!!! 

Truth, Peace, the Knowledge and Fear of God, Righteousness and Justice should be allowed to kiss each other and be established, entrenched and given high respect and honour in tribal, public and national affairs.  It will also demand that these virtues become the national character and social psyche of the people of Ghana. 

To realize this spiritual and social order of Peace with God and Peace, Righteousness and Joy in society the Church of God will not merely have a part to play, she must be seen as partner with government in the establishment and maintenance of the New Order. Perhaps, it may be necessary here to remind the government of the day, to wit, the Kufuor Administration including Parliament as well as political parties and the NPP in particular that the result of the 2000 General Election and the rise and advancement of democratic governance did not emerge out of the institutional democratic arrangements by themselves as such.  The LORD God of Hosts had His Hands in the out turn. 

Though it can be acknowledged that President Kufuor’s style of government is helping to stabilize the institutions and enhance performance, the Kufuor Administration herself did not emerge except by the Divine Hand of Intervention in the election of Mr. J.A. Kufuor as NPP Presidential Candidate in the first place and also through God’s control of the electoral process in the General Election and His Hand upon the affairs of the land since the assumption of office of President Kufuor. The Lord led the nation to and orchestrated the 2000 Election in such a manner as to prevent bloodshed and social upheaval and political backlash.  Thanks be to God. Amen. 

That is to say, the beauty of democracy and democratization as a social process did not emerge, has not and cannot come about as of itself.  The NDC were not voted out by any massive popular movement.  President Kufuor got the nod in a second-round balloting.  This implies that no one can take the glory.  Only God can and must.  To HIM alone belongs the GLORY. The nation must therefore give praise, thanks and glory to GOD.  Hallelujah, Amen. 

Peace and quiet in Ghana has been attained and can only be maintained by Direct Divine Hand.  It is God who has liberated and redeemed nation and people in His power, and infinite wisdom and eternal counsel. It is God who has attained for, kept and is keeping the nation in Peace and Quiet for His own GLORY.  We must not return to the dark days again. 

As the scriptures reveal, Ghana: Beulah land implies direct divine act of intervention, redemption and marriage of the nation.  The Working and Controlling Hand of God is active in the nation’s affairs, as described in Isaiah Chapter 62.  God’s Hand is working in alliance with chosen vessels in the land and elsewhere to ensure the state of affairs envisaged in His intent, plans and purposes for the country. 

“For Zion’s sake I will not hold My peace, and for Jerusalem’s (Ghana’s) sake I will not rest, until her righteousness goes forth as brightness, and her salvation as a lamp that burns.” Isaiah 62:1

“I have set watchmen on your walls, O Jerusalem (Ghana), who shall never hold their peace day or night. You who make mention of the LORD, do not keep silent, and give Him no rest till He establishes and till He makes Jerusalem (Ghana) a praise in the earth.” Isaiah 62:6-7

“Indeed, the LORD has proclaimed to the end of the world: say to the daughter of Zion, surely your salvation is coming; behold, His reward is with Him, and His work before Him” Isaiah 62:11 

Ghana is to be built, maintained and made to flourish and prosper in Peace and Righteousness, and the Joy and Glory of God.  Ghana a nation and people of divine peace, righteousness and glory is the vision and works of God.  Ghana, New Jerusalem, Beulah Land, a Nation and People of Peace, Holy unto God is the New Thing. Righteousness and Justice, Freedom and Liberty, Progress and Prosperity shall be the GLORY of The New Ghana, Kingdom Glory State, Star of Africa. 

Behold The New Jerusalem 

Ghana, Beulah Land, a Nation and People married unto JEHOVAH, God the Creator, shall be a land of peace, divine beauty and glory and joy, and a crown of glory in the hand of GOD. 

The NEW JERUSALEM has started shining on the horizon. “Blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD, and the people whom He has chosen as His own inheritance” (Ps. 33:12). 

May we humbly declare here that THE VISION IS ACCOMPLISHED.  The Redemption Battle is Over.  The nation has been given a new name to mark this reality. 

However, how far the nation progresses, flourishes and prospers in this new era in physical, material and social terms will depend as much on government as on Church and people.  God will build the nation with the surrendered, yielded, willing and available hearts and minds, hands and feet of the people of the country. 

LET US RISE UP TO BUILD THE NATION.   GHANA, The NEW JERUSALEM is our Inheritance.  

NOW IS THE HOUR OF GLORY.  Glory be to God.
