THEME: GHANA MUST REJECT AMERICAN POLITICAL AND CHURCH MODELS 

SYNOPSIS: This Easter message warns Ghana not to emulate America’s system, which is ruled by the false gods of Money, Knowledge, and Human Pride, but rather to seek the true worship of God. 

The Ghana Evangelical Society (GES) held Jubilee Year Easter Mission in Legon/Madina April 6 – 8, 2007.  The theme was BEHOLD THE LAMB OF GOD. During the mission, Bro. Immanuel Enoch Agbozo, Leader of the Society was led by the Spirit of God to make the following observations: 

That three gods have been mounted in the Church in Ghana and the world.  These are Knowledge, Money and Human Pride.  These three gods according to the Spirit of the LORD are now reigning in the world. 

In the process, however, Money has become the ruling power of the age. The reign and rule of money has assumed new and profound dimensions to the extent academic, intellectual, religious and scientific endeavors have all surrendered to the rule of Money. 

Because of this development, Capitalism has become the ruling philosophy and ideology undergirding the conduct of affairs of the world.   

The Spirit of the LORD came upon Bro. Enoch Agbozo to declare further that: 

1. Ghana should not follow the American Political System. 
2. The church in Ghana should not follow the church in America.  The American Church has nothing to teach the Church in the world. 

The Ghana Evangelical Society is bringing the declarations for the information of church and government, chiefs and people, saints and citizens so Ghana build church and nation in the knowledge, honor and true worship of the living God and not the gods, goddesses and Money.
