THEME: GHANA’S SPIRITUAL MANDATE FOR CONTINENTAL UNION 

“Write the vision and make it plain on a tablet. For the vision is yet for an appointed time. But at the end it will speak, and it will not lie. Though it tarries, wait for it, for it will surely come. It will not tarry,” declares the LORD God Almighty through the Prophet Habakkuk. 

Africa united in the knowledge and worship of God, and common destiny in the establishment of peace, righteousness and justice, the sacredness of life and Dignity of the Blackman and the Human Race and the Pursuit of progress prosperity, and well-being of her people in a state of Peace and Goodwill among men is a Vision that will surely come to pass. Behold, it is at the threshold at last. 

The beacon of hope, the signal of victory, has risen with the recent AU Ordinary Summit. Africa has cried out during the Great Debate and stated plainly and clearly at the Summit that the Africa Union is not just a must but is feasible. What remains is the Road Map and Structures to make the vision a reality. This, we believe, is the task that the Africa Union Commission must set itself and submit proposal thereon at the earliest. Towards this, we humbly submit the following for consideration by the commission, the Governments of African nations and all interested parties. 

Our first proposition is the Place, Honor, and Glory of God the Creator in the African Union Constitution-proposal. This is the bedrock and fundamental requirement for the New Africa, reconciled with God, delivered from idolatry, blood and wars, liberated from Satanic oppression and human wickedness, redeemed from the corruption, weakness, and failing of man. On this spiritual Rock and connected arrangements can Africa be said to be truly redeemed and free, with hope for restored glory. This has been the missing link in the works of the pioneers of African Unity. 

But the Bible says, “except the LORD build the house, they labor in vain that build it. Except the LORD watches over the city, the watchman waketh but in vain” (Psalm 127:1). 

That the Destiny of the Human Race and Nations and Africa in her present state in particular is in the Hands of God and cannot be disputed by any informed historian, politician, discerning philosopher, or religious guru. The gods, including man, wield much influence on affairs of nations, yet the Will and Law of God The creator is Supreme, overriding, and everlasting. This is what African leaders throughout the ages have missed in Africa as a pioneer in the human enterprise, arts, sciences and statecraft, rejects this to her peril.  

We will come to this issue again. But suffice to say to her that the light has not only appeared; dark Africa has now comprehended the light and the Blessed Hope of Peace, Life and Liberty and Joy it brings. Now the chains of captivity are broken. Now will energies be released. Now will endeavors come to fruition and prosper. Now will all Africa rise and shine. Glory be to God. 

That settled, the next important plan is the Pillar of Security and Stability of willing and constituent nations; that is to say, the building of Africa into a strong, compact, United whole must be taught and cemented through the Unity of Spirit, Mind, and Purpose in building of compact, Secured, Stable, and Viable nation-states by African countries. 

Building a nation demands deep Spiritual Identity, Commitment, and Loyalty, on one part and Dedication to the Vision, Cause of Nation and Fellow citizens on the other. The security, stability, and viability of the nation and welfare of the people is and must be seen to be above political party, ethnic, religious, and economic or any other interests, affiliations, and loyalties. 

There must be full appreciation that the good of the whole is a condition for the good of the parts even as the good of the part is a condition for the good of the whole. This deep spiritual interconnection of the parts with the whole and vice-versa can easily be attained if there is sound Knowledge, Love, and True Worship of God. This goes beyond mere moral and conscience dictates. 

Accordingly, as the scriptures have revealed in Psalm 122 of the Christian Bible, there is need to build a spiritual and cultural framework for life and conduct for all in the national and thus the continental enterprise in love and loyalty in the Knowledge of God, His Law, and Light. They shall prosper that love and pray for the peace of Jerusalem, that in true worship seek the good of fellow citizens. In that shall both the constituent parts and the whole know and experience peace and prosperity. 

Permit me here to deliver the message of God to Africa and Ghana: Who  

1. That the proposition of Africa in Unity, in government and Nation building, is a laudable and honorable proposition. 

2. That should be open to all nations in Africa who will:

• Accept political unity, common economic development process and cohesion through integration and fusion of economic and social policies; and 

• Prove and demonstrate internal security and stability so as not to burden, harass and transfer internal confusion, in security violence and wars to the Union. 

      3. The youth of Africa (Psalm 127). In addition to the Acknowledgement and Honor of God as the Builder and Hope of Nations, the Youth of Africa is the next most crucial and critical factor in nation building. Children are the blessing and hope             of defense and glory of nations. African Nations must factor this in nation-building and re-engineering the social order. 

      4. On WHO the God of Africa – The LORD God Jehovah declares that He is aware that this is a question that will take some time to reach understanding and consensus. Accordingly, the LORD is charging Ghana with the task to stand by and press          for Africa to accept, acknowledge and honor Jehovah creator of Heaven and Earth, God of the universe, God of Israel, Father of Jesus Christ the One God of Africa. 

Meanwhile, member nations may choose what religious system(s) they may. But Africa must have one God, the creator alone as God. 

May we conclude by stating that the Africa represented by Egypt of old was Africa of idolatry, sorcery and witchcraft, which state of affairs provoked the Jealousy, wrath and Judgment of God, leading to the sorrowful state of the Africa of yesterday and today? From this sorrowful state of multiple dimensions to the move for African Unity. 

By the mercies of God, Ghana has been redeemed out of the political Economy of Darkness and Death, the spiritual and social Order of Satanism, Idolatry, Blood, Wars and into Establishment in the Messiah Davidic Kingdom Order of Peace, Righteousness and Justice, and Governance in the Knowledge and Honor of God. 

This is the spirit behind the Reconciliation, Deliverance, Redemption and Restoration of Ghana as Star of Africa. For this reason, the AU Chairmanship fell again upon Ghana. That Ghana will this time lead Africa’s emancipation and restoration in the Peace, Knowledge and aims of the LORD God Jehovah.
