THEME: GLAD TIDINGS OF HOPE (RESTORATION OF THE GLORY TO ENGLAND & THE UNITED KINGDOM) 

PREAMBLE 

Peace be to you. Glory to God in the Highest. Blessed be our God, who in His Eternal Love and Mercy unto Man, His creation, and the world, has opened the Door of Grace, Redemption, and Restoration of Glory through Jesus Christ— Son of the Living God, Mediator, and Hope of Glory for the human race and the world. We have assembled here in response to Glad Tidings of Hope of redemption and restoration of glory to England and the United Kingdom. Blessed are they that come in the name of the LORD. I greet you all in the spirit of love and compassion of Jesus Christ and the goodness and mercy of the Father. May the mercy and everlasting peace and joy in Jesus Christ be with us all at this Holy Gathering of Trust and Hope in the Most High God. 

I am highly blessed and privileged to lead in the deliberations and Prayers on the Most High God’s message of Glad Tidings of Hope to England and the United Kingdom. I take my task as a simple one: I am set to “ring a bell” for the people of God filled with love, faith, joy, and hope in God to assemble with open hearts to cry out together to the MOST HIGH God: 

Revive us O Lord 

Restore our lost heritage and glory 

O Lord of Mercy 

We Believe, We Trust, 

We Rejoice in Hope in Our God. 

May the deliberations and prayer at this Holy Gathering rise up the stairs of love, joy, and glory unto the Throne Room, Judgement Seat, and Ears of the Gracious and Glorious Most High God. Amen. Once again, Peace be to you. This is a gathering of serious business— a gathering of Divine Calling for response to God the Creator’s Cry of Love, Sorrow, and Despondency mixed to England and the United Kingdom. The response we give shall be in the place and on behalf of the Church, Queen, Government, Nation, and People of England and the United Kingdom (UK).  

There are only two options open for the response: 

 i. YES, LORD or 

ii. NO, LORD. 

“Yes Lord” will usher the UK into the righteousness and peace of God.  “No, Lord” will by definition generate Divine Judgement—and we believe this will further intensify and deepen the woes, perils, and loss of glory to the UK.  

Now, when the Church and People assembled here respond positively with grace “Yes, Lord” it follows that those gathered here will be entering into a kind of unwritten covenant with God for and on behalf of church and nation. They will be set to proclaim, pursue, and establish the church and nation back on the Divine Path of Redemption and Restoration of Glory to the UK by and under God.  

The disposition we personally take for the deliberation and prayer is one of obedience unto Peace, Righteousness, Faith, Trust, and Hope in God. We are persuaded that the positive response of Yes, Lord by the Church and Nation is the viable option for the good, peace, joy, hope, in God and glory for the UK. May we end up in saying “Amen, Yes Lord, Amen” in thanksgiving and praise, prayer, and song of faith, love, and hope in God. We can then agree with the Holy Spirit saying Come, Lord Jesus. Revive us again O Lord.   

INTRODUCTION 

Now, the cry of Despondency by the Most High God over England and the United Kingdom before the nation is in the final analysis a cry of offer of reconciliation, redemption, restoration, and hope for both God and nation. It comes under two major categories: 

A. “Return unto me and I will return unto you. I will be your God and ye will be my people”.  This is a cry of Love and deep longing of God for a dearly beloved one – a people who once hailed Me as their God, King, Ruler and Lawgiver to whom they sang My praise wherever they went…” 

The lamentation is about the loss to GOD of His place, honor, and glory in the affairs of His beloved nation and people. His love unfailing urges Him on. The Lord is here calling for reconciliation, peace, love, blessing, and restoration of glory to England and the United Kingdom. 

B. The fading glory of the monarchy and therefore of England and the UK. “The glory of the monarchy is gone…. I shall return their lost glory if they shall forsake their evil ways and return unto Me”. This is a Holy Divine Promise of Restoration of Glory to Great Britain. 

THE FALLEN GLORY OF GOD IN ENGLAND AND THE UNITED KINGDOM  

The “Cry of Despondency” by the Most High comes from a deep concern regarding the glory of GOD Himself as God and King of the United Kingdom or Great Britain. The issue at stake here simply stated, is that the glory of God on one part, and on the other that of England and the UK are closely tied with the glory of the monarchy. The glory of the monarchy is interictally tied with the Spirit, Power, and Glory of God as God, King, Ruler, and Lawgiver of the nation. 

Behind the Throne and therefore, behind the Government of the UK is the authority, power, and glory of God. What happens then, if the Queen goes home and the one who will take up the throne does not believe in Jehovah God, His authority, power, and glory behind the throne?  Where do the church, government, and nation stand on this? 

 In spiritual and religious terms, what will be the story if the sitting monarch has no regard for Christ, the Holy Scriptures, the Christian Faith, and the Church and the nation standing as Nation and People of God and His Kingdom on earth. This is the critical issue the sitting monarch, the church, government, and nation are facing. Thus, the challenge before Jehovah on one part and England and the UK on the other part is that if the one who will take up the Throne at the demise of the Queen does not have regard for Jehovah God—His authority, power, and glory as God, King, Ruler, and Lawgiver behind the Throne and the Government—the glory of the monarchy already falling may well plunge into deeper disgrace and dishonor, especially now that the nation and people have also rejected Him— Jehovah as God, King, Ruler, and Lawgiver of the land. The Government of the UK in this respect serves but as prince of the Queen for governance, lawmaking, reign, and rule of the land. 

Let us now raise the curtain for deliberation and prayer on the two major issues in God’s Cry of despondency over England and the UK. Now the issue under consideration boils down in biblical terms to the King and Priest roles of the Church, that is God’s People in the Worship and Service of God, in Government, and God’s Kingdom, Reign, and rule in the nations on earth (Revelation 1:6; 5:10; Revelation 11:15). The powers that be are of God. That is to say, it is the Church’s and Government’s roles in preaching and discipling, in Legislation and Rule, and in Leading Nation, People, and Government in upholding the knowledge and worship of God, His Government, and Kingdom order, reign, and rule in the land as God, King, Ruler, and Lawmaker that are under fire in God’s lamentation before us. 

The truth as prevails in the UK is that the Monarch is the head of both the Church and Government. Thus, the fall of glory of the monarchy is by definition and implication the fall of the glory of God the Creator—Father of Jesus Christ as God, King, Ruler, and Lawgiver in the land.  If the Father is King and Ruler, Jesus is the Head of the Church and God’s Government and Kingdom order on earth. The fall of the glory of the monarchy implies fall in glory of church, government and nation. 

BEWILDERMENT IN DARKNESS AND DEATH 

From Divine spiritual perspective, both the Church and Government of the UK are in bewilderment regarding the place of God, His worship and service, government and kingdom, reign and rule in the land. Principally, there is apparent confusion—if not real rejection—of God, the Law, Light, Way, and Knowledge of God in life and conduct, religion and culture, government and Lawmaking, and management of the affairs of the nation. In short, there is need for deliberation on God and the Word/Law of God in England and the UK. 

RETURN UNTO ME AND I WILL RETURN UNTO YOU 

It is here that the call of God unto England and the UK to RETURN TO HIM is a Glad Tidings of Promise and Hope of reconciliation, redemption, and restoration of glory. It calls for a basic admission—not so much of the rejection of the Christian Faith as the faith of the nation, as the rejection of God the Creator as the God, King, Ruler, Lawgiver, and Father of the nation.  Of course, the two are tied together; Father and Son are one. Essentially, this is a call for RETURN TO and REVIVAL of the Judeo-Christian and Godly Government and Kingdom order of yesteryears. 

Fundamentally speaking, the call of God for “RETURN TO ME” is in reference first and foremost to the priestly and prophetic roles of the Church in the land. That there is massive rejection of God, the truth, law and knowledge of God in the land is not in dispute. This reflects a serious malaise or is it the rejection of God within the church, the dwelling place, throne room, and temple of God. It is a challenge to the priest and prophet voice, proclaimer, teacher of the knowledge of God, and ambassador of God in the land. We are persuaded that there is serious challenge with the priestly and prophetic roles of the church in the land. 

The song, LET ALL THE PEOPLE PRAISE THE LORD, is an accredited mission task of the priesthood in particular, and the prophet and king (government in general).  Besides, the orderly and knowledgeable worship, obedience, and honor of God in the spirit and true knowledge of God is of the priest. This is the basis of righteousness in the nation. In this regard, is there a prophetic voice of the church in the UK? Thus, if God is decrying the turning away from Him and the rejection of songs in worship, honor, and glory of Him in the land, it implies the failure in mission by the Church. 

Simply stated, now is the hour for the church to take back her priestly garment and prophetic mantle in spirit and in truth in the land. Now is the hour of holiness, diligence, faithfulness, and true righteousness by the Church. There must be genuine cry for revival in the church. To be sure, there will be revival if there is true return to truth, holiness, righteousness, and faithfulness to God, His Spirit, Truth, and Counsel by the Church as a whole.  

It is not necessary here to comment on what we call the 3-Ds in the Church, namely: 

i. DISCONNECTION WITH CHRIST 

ii. DEPARTURE from the TRUTH of GOD 

iii. DESERTION from the Cross and Holy Mission of the Church 

Preaching, Teaching, Theology, Doctrine, and Practice have all turned bizarre, and in many cases, theories of human knowledge, wisdom, spirit, and “mind power” is the order. The Truth, Law, Light, and Way of God administered by the Spirit of God is missing. As a result, there has thus, arisen deepened darkness, death, hopelessness, empty, faithless, life-less religion, and cultural practices going on in the name of church. 

As the Lord described the situation to His servant once, apart from the challenges of doctrines of devils and men, graven images, and all, the Church ritualistic worship has become A RELIC—lacking spirit and dynamism, unable to confront the invading forces of Satan and man, darkness and death in the world. Yet, the Church is supposed to engage victoriously against the gates of hell (Matthew 16:18-19; 2nd Corinthians 10:5-6). Indeed, in many places today, “the Church” is only re-echoing the voice of spirits and men, responding in compromise and open adoption of the spirit, mind, and ways of the world. 

The Christ Human Redemption, Government, and Kingdom Glory order is the uppermost and critical mission agenda of the Church. The needed action before the Church is REVIVAL OF THE TRUTH, true worship, and effective discipling of the church and nation in the Law, Light, and Way of God, the Knowledge, Fear, and Honor of Him in life, conduct, and affairs of the land. 

That is to say, RETURN TO ME and I WILL RETURN TO YOU.  I WLL BE YOUR GOD and YE SHALL BE MY PEOPLE is the most urgent and critical mission for the Church in England and the UK. We shall turn to the God Kingdom Reign and rule in England and the UK in the next talk.
