THEME: SPIRITUAL ACCOUNTABILITY AND THE RESTORATION OF GHANA’S COVENANT DESTINY 

A Time of reckoning has come. Truth and the hand of God together will secure the safety, security, progress, and prosperity of Ghana, says the Lord Most High. Fear, insecurity, and hopelessness have gripped the nation. The people of Ghana are overtaken by grief. The government has a duty to confront the realities of the day and lead the nation in these times of stress and insecurity. The security of life, health, and security of enterprise, the welfare, and well-being of the people, these and other challenges call for bold, imaginative, and reassuring policies that will both guide public and private conduct and secure a spirit and sense of hope for the people, small and big, rich and poor. The government cannot and must not reject God and abandon the nation and people. 

The truth of the matter is that the Church, Government, and People of Ghana have abandoned and acted treacherously against God—the God of Ghana. Although many say, “The Lord Lives,” they swear and live falsely (Jeremiah 5:2). The Lord God has done great things for us; He has redeemed and brought the nation to safe shores and made Ghana a shining star of peace, stability, joy, and hope. Unfortunately, the nation has set out to sea with rebellion and the rejection of God and the knowledge of Him. 

Ghanaians have become poor and foolish for they do not know the way of the Lord, nor the judgement, and standards of their God. The people have forsaken God and sworn by spirits that are not God, nor are they of God. Ghanaians have committed adultery in both spiritual and practical terms. They have gone into alliances and league with spirits and gods. They are serving strange gods. 

The prophets and priest in the land have led the people to believe God, claiming that the adultery and idolatry, immoral, violent, and treacherous conduct cannot and will not provoke the wrath and judgement of God, and bring evils and hardship, war, and famine to the land. Accordingly, transgression, iniquity, sin, and wickedness have spread in the land. Wicked men and women have set up snares and traps and lie in wait to catch their fellow men. Their houses are full of deceit. They have become great and rich with it. The wicked in the land have “waxen fat.” They shine and have established false standards, even as they prosper at the expense of the poor, fatherless, and needy. Indeed, they judge not the cause of the needy and fatherless. Thus, righteousness and justice, honesty, loyalty and godly conduct have been rejected. They reckon not God in their hearts. They have no fear for God who gives rain in their season and controls the appointed times of the harvest. 

Unfortunately, the prophets prophesy falsely, and the priests bear rule by their own measures not according to God and the truth. And the people love it that way. There is no desire among the people to know and fear God. The leaders take advantage of the people, deceive, rob, and exploit them. 

On the whole, the people have a revolting and rebellion heart. They have revolted and gone. With this development, the Lord would have His servant declare His word to the government and publish it for the information of the Church, nation and people. “Shall I not visit these things? Shall not my soul be avenged on such a nation as this?” (Jeremiah 5: 29)  

It may be appreciated why the Spirit of the Lord would have the servant of God declare – “A Time of reckoning has come.” The Lord God Jehovah is jealous over Ghana. His works and words, His name and glory in the land. God will avenge His name and glory. He will defend His election, works, and redemption of Ghana. He will maintain the integrity of Ghana as chosen and redeemed nation, “Beulah Land” and a Star Nation for His Kingdom glory in Africa and the world. Divine judgement is at hand. The inevitable shaking and judgement of the nation is not for evil. It is for the good of the land to secure the safety, security, and hope of the nation. The Lord’s hand is out to stop the rebellion, revolt, and treachery against, to stop the backsliding, and rejection of the knowledge of Him and His way, and to consolidate the integrity, stability, and security of Ghana as chosen and redeemed nation and people, “Beulah land” and Star Nation of His Kingdom glory in Africa and the world. 

GHANA SHALL ABIDE and REMAIN in PEACE, SECURE, TRUE and FREE in HIS HANDS.
