prosper in our land

GES-Both-Inauguration Anniversary and Jubilee Year Service
There is no money, we are having difficulties, there’s no doubt. No nation
rises just like that. We have to build this country with sweat. But you want
to build a country with pleasure. It’s not done. We need a leader that will get
it, not tighten your seatbelt, but a leader who has vision and can match us to
rebuild this country. It shall happen very soon. But we thank God for
President Kuffour. The Bible says in this regard that, “except the Lord builds
the house, they labor in vain that build it. Except the Lord watches over the
city the watchman waketh but in vain”. Beloved God has watched and is
watching over Ghana. He is behind the peace, quiet and stability in our
country. In spite of and apart from everything else. Thanks be to God for the
election and presidency of President Kuffour at the time of the full
redemption of our country. Glory to the name of the Almighty God, now and
forevermore. Beloved, it is with this background of the choosing,
redemption and restoration of Ghana as star nation of divine works, reign
and rule in Africa, the Lord God of hosts would have His servant declare His
message of assurance, counsel and hope for church, government, nation and

people at this GES 30th inauguration anniversary Thanksgiving Jubilee year
service. The scripture that the Lord gave for the message is Psalm 1. And I
was giving this psalm for this and similar occasion in 1995, to be precise
February 18, 1995. When the Lord made me declare the end of the war at
Osu in a crusade. Psalm 1 of the bible
as you start poses, the way and
blessedness of righteousness as against the way of condemnation and curses
of ungodliness and wickedness in human affairs. In this regard we can
declare with the scripture that peace, righteousness and justice are the key
issues of social order of a godly nation and people. We declare therefore that
economic prosperity and physical pleasures, important as they are, are not
the measure of the godly nation or kingdom of
man. Isaiah chapter 9 verses
6 and 7, Romans chapter 14 verse 17 and Isaiah chapter 2 verse 1 to 10. I’m
saying that the kingdom of God is in peace and righteousness. And it’s not in
food and drinking. It’s not meat and drink. It’s not economic and it’s not
pleasure. It is a state of spiritual standing and character and culture of a
people. A state of righteousness and justice, peace, godliness, it’s what the
spirit of God tells. The Bible therefore gives the divine counsel to nations
and people saying, “righteousness exalts a nation, but sin is a reproach to
any people”, Proverbs 14 and 34. The spirit of the Lord reveals also in
Isaiah chapter 62 verses 1, 6 to 10. The divine determination to bring this
about, that when God chooses a nation such as he chose Ghana, he is
determined to establish that country in righteousness. You see the prophesy
was talking about righteousness, I can see it coming. My task here at this
service is just to explain the meaning and declare to church, government and
people of Ghana the will of God concerning righteousness in the land, in our
lives and the
cause of the affairs of our country as nation and people.
Righteousness in a nation. There are three main conditions for the
establishment of peace and righteousness in a nation, and these are one, the
acknowledgement and honor of God the creator, alone as God of the nation,
buttressed by obedience and observance of His law and commandments,
counsels and way. Deuteronomy chapter 6 verses 1 to 6, Matthew 28 verse
20. Such a nation that acknowledges God knows not and honors not any
other gods, idols or other. So, if we want to worship God, we can’t at the

same time call the gods of the lagoons or the gods of the trees or gods of
rivers, and we go to have national affair and we are calling lagoons and
dead ancestors who are dead, the worship of ancestors is idolatry before God
and God cannot co-exist this, so if we want righteousness and blessing of
God then Ghana must eschew from these practices.
Number two, the nation, people and government who seek after
righteousness must live a life and conduct their affairs in the knowledge and
fear of God, in love of God, neighbor and country devoid of evil and
wickedness, deceit and lies, flattery and mockery. Psalms 1, Psalm 12 and
Psalm 122. The government on her part must commission and observe law
and justice she must defend the poor and needy, the weak and oppressed and
do justice against oppression and fraud, wickedness, murder, violence and
blood, that is to say the king, judges and those in authority in a nation that
seeks God’s righteousness and blessing together must establish and observe
an order of peace righteousness and justice and equity, Psalm 72.
Number three there must be acknowledgement and honor of Jesus Christ the
Son as the sole mediator between man and God, Savior, reconciler, redeemer
and Prince of Peace whose scepter order and government is peace,
righteousness and justice in the knowledge and honor of the father, Isaiah
chapter 9, 6 and 7, Psalm 45 verses 6 and 7 1st Timothy chapter 2 verses 1
to 7. Psalm 2 on her part reveals in this regard that the rejection of Jesus
Christ is tantamount to rejection of God the father, and this can lead to the
wrath of God on nations and people. Psalm 2 says; “why do the heathens
rage, and people imagine a vain thing”. they have rejected God and His
anointed, because He brought the anointed come and break the yoke and set
the captives free, and if you reject the anointed it means you have rejected
God. so, if you say you don’t like Jesus Christ then you can’t be worshiping
God. And the Bible says all authorities is given to Jesus. Psalm 2, the bible
says, “this day have I begotten thee, ask of me, and I shall give thee the
heathen for thine inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth for thy
possession”. And He said the princes and judges mind your works serve God

with gladness and fear and kiss the Son lest He become angry and it shall
not be well with you. And when the leaders are being tossed who suffers?
The nation, so nations that reject Jesus Christ are in perpetual agony, but the
escape is there. This type of condition for righteousness is a great truth
which the religious and worldly wise would debate on and in fact they do
debate today but I can say with all authority of scripture and knowledge of
the God I serve, that they do so to their own ruin. Psalm 2, John 3 verses 33
and 35, political religious and life conduct of a chosen nation chosen Ghana.
From the above brief submission, it evident that the church, government and
people of Ghana have a new spiritual moral and social basis for life and
conduct of affairs of Ghana. If Ghana can develop and prosper as a chosen
nation holy unto God as star of Africa for example the church in Ghana as
apostle prophet priests of Christ for divine government and kingdom glory
order in the land has duty to teach and uphold the truth love, law, light and
knowledge way of God and His Christ to government and people the
government must be taught the way of God and the way of righteousness,
the government is part of their people, they are entrusted with our liberties
and our wealth and so the church has a duty to teach both the people and the
government, you cannot remove God from the scene even our African chiefs
know that you can remove the fetish priests from the king’s house. Our
portfolio says separation of God and state, it’s not true It’s not correct. The
government of such a land that want peace and
legislature must have divine
duty and function as right arm of divine reign and rule in the affairs of men
and the establishment of God’s kingdom on earth. Government, therefore,
has divine and heavenly duty not only to make laws in the knowledge, law,
light, and way of God, but also to serve as an only instrument in the hand of
the holy God to establish, supervise, and provide righteousness, peace,
justice, and sound moral public conduct, and social order. The government,
therefore, is on the obligation to protect, provide, and supervise justice for
the people. In the African context, the government should not only be seen
to be concerned with political stability, economic development, and social
progress, but also be the defense and protector of the poor, needy, and weak
against oppression, exploitation, and wickedness, and the economy of war,

debt, and death. If you have a government and TUC are asking for wages
and the government takes side with the employers, we are in trouble. If
government wage policy, only to reflects the wishes of the big men that have
money, we are in trouble. But the government is not for the rich, the
government is for the poor. It is because the poor cannot help that’s why God
appoints the government to supervise and help them. So, the rationale for the
government is more for the case of the poor and needy rather than strong, the
strong can take care of themselves, but the poor need help. And so when you
have a government that goes with the rich and powerful, it is against the
people. I wrote this to President Clinton once on his kingdom. Brethren, I
want to assure you this day that God has a vision for our country, and not for
our country alone but for Africa, we’ve been subjected to exploitation, by
foreign companies, big business, and governments that are mad. I told you
our president (President Kuffour) sacrificed his personal interests and glory
to the sake of our country. He’s traveling all over the place. People may
think he’s enjoying himself, there’s no enjoyment in traveling. He has a
vision and a mission to perform. And he travels here and there to make the
African case, not Ghana’s case alone, but the African case. If he goes, you
may think he’s on holiday. It is not easy. Beloved, in Ghana, the people must
eschew violence. If we talk about the church to teach, the government to
supervise the righteousness and justice, the people on their part must eschew
violence and wickedness. The immoral and wicked works of Satanism
ungodliness and mockery. The pull him down mentality, and the blood, war,
and death campaigns common in Africa. Psalm 1 tells you “The righteous
should not have fellowship with the ungodly, the mockers, the sinners”. If
you want this country to prosper, press men, if you want this country to
prosper, don’t be interested in the wicked works of darkness, project
righteousness, preach righteousness and exalt righteousness, and this nation
can be tamed just by your
pens. This is the will of God concerning us. Psalm
1 declares succinctly in this respect that the ungodly and wicked have no
inheritance with the blessings, joy, hope, and glory of the righteous. When
the
cheap falls, the wicked will go into hell, the righteous alone shall rejoice.
So, this is our message to the nation today. In this light and reality of divine

choosing, redemption, and hand for God, kingdom glory in the affairs,
prospects, and destiny of our country, the spirit of the Lord, thus, declare
today, “behold a new day, a new glory has dawned for chosen and
redeemed Ghana that peace, righteous justice and joy, shall flourish and
prosper in our land”. Last Friday I had it in the message my sister was
saying but today it came way in the prophecy a new day. And a new day for
a new glory and that glory shall be found in peace, righteous, justice and joy
in the knowledge of God. This is the message to the nation, in this regard
God the Creator who has chosen delivered and redeemed our country and
people from the hand of Satan and wicked man and the spiritual and social
order of darkness and death oppression blood and desolation demands that
church, government, people and nation must acknowledge and honor him
alone as God of our country, we must honor him as the Redeemer and King
of this land there should not be any other God but Jehovah the father of
Jesus Christ, the I Am that I Am. We declare today that God says he is the
Redeemer of our country, and He alone must be worshiped and
acknowledged by Ghana. Individuals can have their gods, but Ghana must
have one God. Individuals can worship what they want if they want to
worship themselves let them worship but Ghana as a nation has one God,
Jehovah the father of Jesus Christ the Savior of the world. Ghana must
acknowledge and cherish the divine choosing we must know that God has
chosen us and we must accept the reality of our being chosen and the reality
of our redemption, God’s presence enthrone in our land and we’ll take to
observe His laws, His Kingdom order of peace, righteousness and justice
and joy in his arms and it is knowledge. When the choir was singing His
presence in us. The people and particularly the church and government who
are the priests, prophet and Prince for God’s reign and rule and common
order in the land have done it to God, for the spiritual, political and social
stability of the country and economic physical moral well -being of a people.
The time has come therefore brethren for uprooting the ungodly and wicked
works of men the disloyal, corrupt and wicked oppressor and the idolatrous
wicked immoral and vain pursuits of individual and group interest in the
land. We want NPP to win election, so we don’t care what happens to

cry for hell and kill
everybody for NPP to win we shall do it.
another political party or the people if we have to
Agbouada wants to be a king
everybody in Keta must die so that he’ll be a chief, that’s the kind of
mentality that goes to the ungodly, people will take the gospel and deceive
and cheat and kill people send them to hell pretending there are preachers
there are wicked people this ungodly elements must be removed from our
midst we cannot do it overnight but the children that are coming must be
taught the true God and his way and the true life of righteousness and peace.
Some of this old man they can’t change, “they still think that when he’s the
president some old woman will come from village and attack him, so he
must protect himself by getting some charms, if not he would be killed”.
That’s how we think superstition and wickedness and fear. Satan has put fear
in us and there’s some truth in that, but now there’s a savior and a redeemer.
Beloved I want to suggest to you that the government and church
particularly have great responsibility towards this, the time has come that the
wicked in our society must be uprooted. When I talk about pastors here is
because the wicked must be uprooted. May we cease the opportunity to
cancel the political
experience in the land to desist from consultation,
adoption and employment of satanic power to gain public office, let me tell
the politician who go to the fetish houses some are going to the north and
other places is to get power that’s part of the reason why the rains are there
the gods are being washed away, the gods they go to consult power are being
washed away. When there was fire in the bush in Ghana and we were
suffering, where were the gods to protect the shrines, the forest where the
shrines were, also burnt.
If the Lord spoke, indeed He has spoken. I’m telling
the politicians who want to get power by human sacrifice and those sins,
they will fail. If you go and consult the malam, some people go to occult
churches to fast and pray for seventy days, they are just stressing themselves
out. The power of the gods, deities, principalities and powers of old which
had held nations and people in captivity are no more. The power and glory
of Satan, the devil and the wicked men and women is over. They can do
little in the spiritual, political and social realities of the new day of New
Ghana. We are at a point that the gods cannot rule over us, all the gods and

principalities in Ghana can gather and perform any form of sacrifice against
me, I will still stand and not die, their gods will fall because the Lord is with
me. So beloved, the Lord will have His servant declare to the people of
Ghana today. This new day, a new glory of Ghana, He will bless and prosper
the righteous and the godly in the land. But condemnation and curse will be
the lot and will in fact abide with the ungodly and wicked, both in church
and state and politics of the land and the economy as a whole. In conclusion,
brethren, God has chosen and redeemed the country and is about to make his
reign and rule and kingdom glory in the land flourish and prosper. This is the
basis of a new day and a new glory for the country. The peace,
righteousness, justice and joy in the arms and knowledge of God shall be the
social reality of God’s kingdom order and the living conditions of the nation
people chosen and made holy unto God for His inheritance of
glory in Africa
and the world,
Psalm 33 verse 12. The zeal of the Lord shall perform it. The
church, government and citizenry have a spiritual, political, moral duty to
attest to the truth, trust, joy and hope in the living God and His reign and
rule in the affairs of men. All must pursue, live and conduct affairs for
peace, righteousness, prosperity and good of the land so divine glory will
reign and rule in our land. May we agree and pray that the peace,
righteousness, justice and joy of God prosper in the land. For righteousness
exalts a nation, but sin is a reproach to any people. Beloved blessed is the
new Ghana, the new Jerusalem, whose God is Jehovah almighty God. Ghana
will lead Africa and be a testament of God’s kingdom order to the whole
world. We will discuss the way forward at the close of the year but
meanwhile let me assure you that GES matches on in missionary outreach
for God’s kingdom glory in Africa. God bless you. God bless Ghana. I want
us to do a short duty. I’m being informed that when we get into deep things
like that, the Lord always confirms it with the wind and rain. Then the
message has gone. We pray that peace, righteousness, justice and joy shall
prosper in our land. Peace, righteousness, justice and joy in the knowledge
of God. We declare and decree it on this day. We agree together today that
peace, righteousness, justice, joy in the knowledge of God shall prosper and
be the social reality of Ghana, our beloved country.

Prayer and declaration start from 25:24 to 26:14.
The Lord said waters from the skies, waters from the mountains, waters
from under the earth. As this water is pouring down, let it water peace,
righteousness, justice, equity and joy in the knowledge of God upon our
land. At the same time, let it wash away darkness, death, blood sacrifices,
wickedness, the ungodly and wicked, the blasphemous, the idolatrous, the
people who would like to rule Ghana with their gun or with fetish power or
satanic power. As this rain comes, let it wash these things away, let it clean
our country afresh. The prophesy said the waters would clean the country, a
new vegetation just springs up, new lives, new people, new understanding of
life, new understanding of spiritual and social order. It’s our prayer today at
this water pause. We thank the Lord for this moment.

prayer
I want you to go with blessing. Just pray for yourself, your life, your
children, your marriage, your family, your children and your tribe. We
represent the various tribes and regions of our country. We want this wind of
peace, righteousness and joy, Holy Ghost, to cover the whole country at this
moment. We release peace, we release righteousness, we release justice, we
release equity, we release joy, we release liberty to our country. Release.
Claim it for your family, yourself and your family. We release, we release
peace, we release righteousness, we release, we release justice, we release
equity, we release peace and joy, we release, we release liberty, life and
liberty to our people. We remove the old order of darkness, curses,
superstition, wickedness, blood sacrifices, murder, immorality. Let the Lord
rain, wash them away and clean our country of immoral conduct, of
wickedness. Yes Lord. Now I want you to pray for your own prayer for
whoever you want to pray for now. If your husband, your wife, your
children, your business, anything, take advantage. Push all of them into it.
The mark, we have a time to wash away the mark of the beast. Get the mark

of Jesus Christ, in place of the mark of the beast. Commit your business to
this new era, this new day, a new era. Commit your ministry, your church.
Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa. Jesus, something new. Hallelujah, be to His holy
name. Commit the governments of the day, and future governments, to this
story of peace, righteousness, justice, equity, joy, in the knowledge and fear
of God in our country. Let it be established, let it go deep down the soil. We
bind every power, every person who goes to consult fetishes. We clear them
from the political scene in the name of Jesus. We decree the death and
dethronements of chiefs that will cause our fetish houses to rule their people.
Those things are past, I shouldn’t be no more. Thank you, Jesus.
Singing starts from 32:18 to 33:11(deleted text)
Prayer started at 33:12- 34: 16
All that you have done for us today, we commit the life of this ministry, G – E -S, into your hand. You are a good God. You begin, and you will continue
and bring this ministry to the desired end. We commit the nation into your
hand. We thank you for all that you are doing. God, sitting on the throne, in
this land, moving, destroying, uprooting, establishing His kingdom, His
glory, we thank you. As we live here, may the light of the Gospel that we
have heard. The prayer didn’t end, then another session began in the same
recording from 34: 28

This session seems to be the right one under the topic
The new session in the same recording 34:28
When He wanted Israel out of Egypt, He had in mind His man Moses. When
He wanted the mission to the Gentile to be more vigorous and effective, He
had Paul, formerly Saul in mind. And when He wanted a kingdom of Israel
to be established after Saul, He had His David. So also, when God was
thinking about the affairs of Ghana, the moves of God in Africa, the God of
purposeful living had also His man in His mind. And all these people I
mentioned, God knew them in their mother’s womb and knew what He put
in them and know that they would be faithful to the work He has called them
onto. So, when we are 30 years, it was not 30 years of beds of roses or meat
and drink. It was 30 years of marks, marks of war, tears and toil. And ladies
and gentlemen, we are here to listen to the man who was in the forefront of
all these activities. Shall we put our hands together and welcome Papa
Emmanuel Enoch Amanor Agbozo.
Singing starts 38:29 to 39:49
1Captain of Israel’s host, and Guide
of all who seek the land above,
beneath Your shadow we abide,
the cloud of Your protecting love;
our strength, Your grace; our rule,
Your word; our end, the glory of the Lord.
2 By Your unerring Spirit led,
we shall not in the desert stray;
we shall not full direction need,
nor miss our providential way;
as far from danger as from fear,
while love, almighty love is near.
Prayer starts from 39:49 to 45:50

He who is our God, is God. Father, we thank you for this movement. There’s
no better moment. There was a great movement, Father, in heaven. When
they were looking for somebody to open the scroll. And there was silence in
heaven. There was nobody found on earth in heaven or anywhere to break
the seal. And the Bible traces that John, who was given this revelation,
began to weep, because it seemed there was hopelessness. But then he was
told, Weep not. The Lord has preserved Himself, the Lion of Judah. Father,
thank you. In movements like these, Lord, when you reflect and you look at
the writings in the skies on the waters, we only bow and say, thank you,
Father. So, we bow and thank you, Father, for this moment. We thank you
for the Ghana Evangelical Society. We thank you for your vision. We thank
you for your vision, your burden and your desire to bring change, in the
affairs of the world, and in this case in the affairs of Ghana and Africa.
There have been many warriors, and many have fallen on the battlefield. Oh,
we remember how many missionaries came and died here. We remember
political battles and wars on the African continent. We remember the
ravages of disease, poverty, we remember the hopelessness of people that
open any day, there’s no imagination, and there’s no work that will last. In
the confusion and darkness, you raised your voice. Africa is free. And today,
Lord, we have got to celebrate Africa that is free. For in your vision and in
your mind, this continent of darkness, hopelessness, and futility. You had a
vision not of resurrection, nor of restoration for that matter, but the
establishment of your kingdom on earth. That this same dark and similar
hopeless place shall not only see the light but shall be the voice of your
kingdom on earth. And that which was forsaken, forgotten, and overtaken,
and stolen, and robbed, and destroyed, and exploited. But by both man and
Satan, powers of darkness, and generations of incomprehensiveness and
father, a different place, you wanted to build your throne to prove that, yes.
You are still the God of Christian, the God of man. And this Africa of
beginnings will hear your voice. And this same Africa of darkness will see
the light. And this same Africa shall set up princess as Ethiopia stretches out
her hands. And they shall be called my people. Blessed be my people in life
fashion like Israel. So today we thank you, we thank you for the vision that

has become a reality in our day and age. And I’ve given you the privilege to
share this wonderful, good news with the entire universe. May your name be
praised. We thank you for the opportunity, we thank you for the many souls
that have fought this battle with us and not even Ghana alone, but in other
parts of Africa and the world. For we are one. And you knew, you knew why
even while we don’t know each other, we pray for each other. And where our
feet have not trotted, we pray for people. And when we pray and declare, it
touches people we have never heard and people who are yet to be born,
because you are God of creation. Thank you. So today as we celebrate, we
celebrate with those who have gone ahead, those that are resting in your
bosom for the faithfulness in this great work, those who have been victims
of the wickedness of men and spirit and powers, and those who have lost
their way in this darkness and are in hell, and those yet even yet to be born.
We praise you for all of them, and we thank you for the opportunity to open
the doors and gates of life and hope that Africa indeed is free and shall be
free. May your name be praised. Even now and forevermore. Amen.
I thank the Lord for all of you for these wonderful times. And I pray that
you will give us the opportunity to share a message to our nation from this
platform, this blessed afternoon. As I was sitting down here, the Lord told
me that the message, what we are doing here, shall go out to the utmost ends
of the earth. It is a very simple message, but it has great significance for
humanity and for the nations and governments of this world. So, I was
asking whether there were journalists here, and I’m told that there are four
journalists, one for crusading guide, one from GBC, Radio universe and
Ghanaian observer. We pray that they will carry it. I’m sorry GNA is not
here, the graphic, but brethren of the inking fraternity and their airwaves, we
welcome you. It’s a very simple message. We have copies to be given to
you, but I don’t know what the law will speak for as I declare the message,
but I hope that you carry the message. I know it will go in the air, not just
what you have written, but what is going in the spirit in the air. As the
prophecy was saying, water from above, water from below, water from the
mountains, the three combined, shall spring out water to the nations and

entire church, even so, a new day. And water is a source of life. Water is life,
many philosophers, I think Kwame Nkrumah was tempted to think that
water is the. Peace be onto the church, government and people of beloved
Ghana. I bring you greetings from the Lord God Most High, creator of
heaven and earth. The Lord God of hosts, creator, possessor, King and Lord
of the earth and its fullness and the peoples that dwell therein, who also is
the father of all spirits, had chosen Ghana, our dear country, for His
dwelling, for His throne, for His kingdom and His majestic, glorious works
as God, King and Lord, redeemer and restorer of the lost glory of Africa, the
world and humanity in general. The kingdom of God is a kingdom of peace,
righteousness, justice and joy in the knowledge, worship and glory of His
abiding presence among His people. The kingdom of God and the glory
thereof in Ghana has been the will, the plans, purposes and works of God in
our country. And this has been the vision and mission and focus of activities
of the Ghana Evangelical Society, generally called what, GES, in the past 30
years. Incidentally, the Ghana Education Service also studied about the same
time, but we were called GES first before they came. So, if you say GES to
the church, it’s a group called the Ghana Evangelical Society. It is the glory
of God that the society in company with the larger church body of the
country, celebrated mission accomplished, October 2005. That celebration
predated and indeed anticipated and prepared the grounds spiritually for
Jubilee Year 2000 celebration. Essentially, the vision of the society was the
reconciliation, redemption and restoration of Ghana a chosen nation, a
redeemed people holy unto God for His kingdom glory on earth in Africa
and the world. This is a story and testimony of GES at this 30th anniversary
of the inauguration of the Society, October 1977. As we were told, the
Society was launched in April 1973, and she set out on outreach mission
with the inauguration in 1977. As we have declared several times before, the
outcome of mission accomplished is a new church, a new people, and a new
nation. Which has been given a new name, the New Jerusalem, by the
Almighty God Himself. I was excited, I’ve heard our President say, we have
a new Ghana, and I’ve heard the Christians saying revival in the church. And
the emphasis seems to have been on the new church has been the charismatic

church, but I call it the Evangelical Pentecostal Charismatic church. Because
the Evangelical movement, the Pentecostal movement, and the Charismatic,
all was embodied in the work of the Ghana Evangelica Society. And in fact,
it affected also the mainline churches, and I can say today, the church, as
I’ve said before, the church in the 60s and 70s is not the church today. If you
went to Presbyterian, the Presbyterian of the 70s, is not the Presbyterian of
today, or Methodist, or even in the Roman Catholic Church. Forgive me if I
said even in the Roman Catholic Church. And I was telling the brethren last
Friday that there were spiritual churches we used to row at the beach,
Odokor and all those places, they’ve all been swallowed up. They are still
showing their little fingers in this foolish new movement of Prophetic
prophecy order, where people crying left and right for prophecy where
familiar spirits and this thing are operating. And because people don’t know
God yet, they don’t study the scripture, they don’t know the Holy Spirit, and
anything goes. But that, I say today, that also will soon pass. I’ve seen many
movement priests, you know, Amen, Amen, this and that. I just laugh. They
will go. Only the kingdom shall remain. Only the truth of the gospel shall
remain. And I remember when we sat at the church at Orion Cinema,
delegations were sent to me. Churches wrote to denounce us, and people
said this and said that, but the Ghana Evangelist Society’s House of Worship
became the church. It’s the model church for the new church, the new nation,
and the new people of Ghana. And this new church, new people, a new
nation is the work of God. The Spirit of the Lord has led us of society to
combine today’s anniversary thanksgiving service with the Society’s special
jubilee year celebration. We were led by the Lord to open the Jubilee Year
with a special service, and we invited all the churches and the government, a
few people came but the Lord insisted that the year should be opened with a
church service before anything took place. The Jubilee celebration
committee would not have anything. The churches told me that the
committee had given them their program already. And so, they couldn’t
change it. But the Lord said it must be open with a church service. GES
stood in, and we did it for the country. And they’re interested in Christians.
When we finished, the following day, the Muslims had a special service, and

the Jubilee Year Committee gave them a cow, to be slaughtered. Have you
seen the Jubilee Year Committee supporting any church? Of course, they
gave Mrs. Ayin. It isn’t Mrs. Joyce Ayin. It is just their way of gospel, but it
is not a worship service to honor the King of Glory. But we stood in a gap,
and we did it. But we ourselves did not have a chance or did not celebrate it.
But today, the law said we should set this day apart as part of our
celebration. So today also is what? Jubileus celebration of the Ghana
Evangelica Society. Would you please join me in standing and thanking God
for Ghana at this moment, not for the society alone for what? For Ghana, for
the redemption and liberation of Ghana, Ghana has been restored. Beloved,
Ghana is free, Africa is free. It’s the redemption story and song. Ghana is
free. And because Ghana is free, Africa is free. This is our redemption story,
and this also is the song that we sing throughout the whole of the continent
of Africa. So, this redemption song and story can also be considered in the
light of this celebration as the spiritual base and standing of redeemed and
restored Ghana, star of Africa. As we are celebrating the Jubilee year, we
want to remember and we are being reminded of the call of God, of Ghana,
that’s started even before Ghana’s independence celebration. And the Lord
chose Ghana and declared Ghana in the African story as far back as 1933,
the year that I was born. Maybe it’s a mere coincidence, but Minister
Humphrey was saying that God knew us in the womb. So, when I was
crying in my village in Nkurakan, God was speaking from the heavens and
today here we are. So, the celebration can be rightly declared as the spiritual
base and standing of redeemed and restored Ghana, star of Africa. I’m
suggesting that when you are looking at the Jubilee year celebration, it’s not
just celebration to go to the Black Star Square. But there’s a spiritual
significance. And it’s a launching of Africa, Ghana and Africa in a new
thing, a new realm. The society, therefore, counts herself blessed to have
been deeply connected with the divine will, vision, and mission for Ghana
and Africa, the human race, and the world at large. We have a cause to
rejoice on this occasion of the 30th anniversary celebration of the heavenly
calling that led to the election commission and mission of GES. The Jubilee
year celebration is part of the outcome of the divine works of glory in the

reconciliation and redemption of our country. It also serves as a reminder
and re -dedication to Ghana’s position as star nation in Africa’s redemption
and restoration story. We are most thankful unto God, therefore, the Father
and the Lord Jesus Christ, the Son and the Holy Spirit for the mighty works
that have delivered our country and brought her to this new state of free
nation and free people. And a model nation of God for the reconciliation,
redemption and restoration of glory to the nations and peoples of Africa. The
story is what? A free nation and world, free people and world, model nation,
that is Ghana for Africa. Ghana’s restored image, a star of Africa and current
standing as bastion of democracy, good governance and respect for human
rights and liberties in the pursuit of political, economic and social
advancement, cultural transformation and people’s wellbeing in
dysfunctional, war -torn, poverty -stricken, dark and sorrowful Africa is the
work of God, the creator, Father of Jesus Christ. I say Africa is a continent,
of dysfunctionalism, Africa is a place familiar with wars. Most of our tribes
that have come to sit here have come here because of wars. We fought wars,
and our kingdom, when you talk about what, Ghana Empire, most of these
things they fall because of war. And today there’s war everywhere in Africa.
And people are living on war. But this thing of war, war, Africa must stop.
And that’s why we are here, that’s why you are here and that’s why God has
raised his voice above the waters, above the mountains and the hills and the
valleys, above the highlands and the giraffe and the snakes and the Oshuns
and the vultures that fly, and the eagles everywhere. The voice of God has
gone out. Africa is what? Free. And this is the work around somebody, and
that somebody is Jesus Christ, Jesus Christ is a spirit, the divine spirit of
redemption and He’s a champion of human redemption, He’s a champion of
salvation, deliverance and liberation of people’s and nations and He is the
spirit for the establishment of peace and goodwill and God’s Kingdom on
earth. When He was born the angels announced glory to God in the highest
what peace on earth and what goodwill towards men, the old days of
darkness and death was gone, one single moment He descended and the
world history has changed and one day He will come to receive His own
unto Himself when 4L was singing then I guess I can imagine you and I on

that day standing above the throne of God and telling the master here we are
the soldiers you sent out we fought the battles for you here we are oh on
earth father great is your holiness with us here we are your humble servants
who gave everything for your glory here we are Oh master Jesus how great
you are for your people. When 4L was singing I was just looking at them
and I knew what it meant. I know what it means sometimes I go to places
and people say they confess to me and say brother sometimes when we are
in darkness and we are troubled then we hear your voice, a sermon that you
preached years ago it just comes and it led us, then somebody said then I can
hear one of the 4L songs, we sung it in the air, it liberate people you don’t
even know. It touches them, it raises the dead, opens blind eyes, the deaf can
hear, dumb speak, the crippled are healed. Greater miracles happen, the
things that are not seen are greater than the things that are seen. What Ghana
is today it’s because there was a voice, there was a movement of the spirit,
there are people that walked. I remember in Nyameani, we sent boys to
Nyameani they stayed there 30 days, in all the hills in Bosomtwe area. And
they were
staying the boys had only one meal a day, Akuapim range from
Kitase down to Asisieso they walked, they preached day by day, night by
night. They raised the consciousness of people. We sent them round the
country and churches that were closed and sometime there was no pastor
some pastors of big churches they have branches over there but they never
visit the place because we were told that the pastors will go to the branches
that are big men so that the pastors will get something to eat, so the small
branches that are there no nobody visited them. Our missionaries divided
young men, they will go and see the chief the Bishop or Catechist or Elder
or something will not be there and the chief will arrange for the church to be
open for the boys to preach this is the work of Jesus Christ, I’m talking about
the new church, today churches are being opened everywhere because a seed
was sown some people dedicated their lives unseen, prayer upon prayer in
mountaintop prayer upon prayer. You
burst things, we prayed for 50 years,
where we are today, we are praying for 50 years. So, you can see that things
that are happening did not happen by chance. Some of these young pastors
are making fetish of the faith. You know, when I say fetish, it’s not fetish

because they are sold with it, but it’s like charms (Juju) that they can sell to
make money. Some of these young men that didn’t even know what
Christianity is have been born in it and they make it cheap, and they sing any
kind of song in the church and dress anyhow and do anything because
Christianity is liberty, because they have not seen Christ yet. Many of these
churches are yet to come to the reality of the salvation of the Lord, but it’s a
joy, even that they have come. I’m hoping that one day they outreach the
deeper things of faith, can reach them also. They are in big, big churches,
but they haven’t seen Christ yet. But there’s a new church, praise the Lord.
So, we have hope. If you see them mention the name of Jesus, there’s hope.
One day they will come to know the truth. Those who are diligently seeking
shall find. So, when we celebrate today, we are happy. Because we know
that our labor has not been in vain. And I want to thank you all for being
here today. Christ Jesus is the spirit that we cherished. We didn’t give
philosophy. We didn’t give story. We gave Jesus Christ. We didn’t show
miracles, we gave Jesus Christ,
and who ever came know that we have
received Jesus Christ. Not business or management methods but Jesus Christ
which is the basis of life.
