BUILDING THE KINGDOM OF GOD

Series:

SERMON INSIGHTS

Introduction: The True Purpose of Creation

Beloved in Jesus Christ, grace and peace be multiplied unto you.

Since the beginning, men and spirits have sought to take over the world God created, establishing their own systems, powers, and even making themselves gods. They present their technological and humanistic advancements as the “beauty of creation,” but I tell you, this is not the beauty God intended.

The entire enterprise of the church mission has one singular end: to bring creation and the world order back into perfect harmony with the will of God. We are standing at the threshold of great events, moving forward in trust, obedience, and love to bring forth what God originally intended.

The Overthrow of the Ungodly Systems

The current order is dominated by principalities and powers, Lucifer, the dragon, and those who claim to be gods, swallowing human beings and demanding sacrifice. These powers, spiritual and human, would kill their fellow man for power and control7.

But we are here to declare that we are overthrowing all these wicked systems. We are turning over the wonderful, glorious things that human beings have made and thought to be the way for humanity. In the confusion that will follow this tumbling, God shall establish His own true order. This is not a man-made enterprise, but one established by His will.

The Foundation of Our Authority: Christ’s Sacrifice and Resurrection

Our power to perform this great work is rooted in the Son of God, Jesus Christ. The Father had two main reasons for sending Him:

  1. To save man, reconcile, and redeem the world from sin, Satan, and death.
  2. To order and establish the kingdom of God on earth.

Jesus saw the world perishing, attacked by its own creation. He humbled Himself, became a human being, and offered Himself on the Calvary Cross to shed His blood, atoning for sin and canceling the curses and condemnation.

When He died, Satan and the opposing powers rejoiced. They sealed the tomb and set a mighty force of soldiers to guard it. But when the time of His glory came, the Creator rose. The stones rolled, the soldiers bowed, and the forces of darkness crumbled. The resurrection of Jesus Christ is the declaration that the Son given will take back the Father’s kingdom and His will, allowing the beauty of creation to re-emerge.

The Mandate of the New Man

Beloved, when you are born again, you are a new creation. You have the seed of the fullness of the divine nature in you, and you shall blossom in the beauty of that glory. Stop thinking of weakness, backache, death, or madness, that is not your portion. You have been redeemed, restored, and raised up with hope.

The church is the new seed and the mechanism for making the Kingdom a reality. Our comprehensive kingdom mission has three essential dimensions:

  1. Redeeming and Delivering people and nations from Satan’s control and oppression, setting the captives free.
  2. Overthrowing the Satan-man kingdom alliance, including all systems, structures, and cultures that reject God.
  3. Establishing the God-Kingdom Order, by supervising the transformation and reconstruction of society.

The Lord gave the church authority. We have power over the gates of hell and the keys of heaven. We are to preach the Gospel of the Kingdom, seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness, and thereby make the Kingdom real. The church must be the light on the hill, to which all nations shall draw themselves.

Conclusion and Call to Action

The time for waiting has passed. The Lord told me that the church derailed from the kingdom mission 400 years ago. But now, we are lighting a candle of comprehensive church mission, and many who have been called shall rise up to light their own candles. We are entering a new generation where the kingdom’s reality shall be established in degrees, but ultimately in fullness.

We are called, chosen, and faithful to engage in this battle. If you die fighting for this cause, you die with honor and glory; death is not a threat to the liberated person.

Therefore, let us affirm the mission and declare the great cry of the church. He who testifies to these things says, “Surely I come quickly”.

Let us respond: “Even so, Come Lord Jesus!”

Amen.
