SERMON INSIGHTS

I bring you peace from my father, the Lord Jesus Christ, our brother, the Holy Spirit, our companion. We want to praise and thank our God and King, the Lord Jesus Christ, King of Kings and Lord of Lords. We shall end the testimony with the witness and testimony of Jesus Christ as God.

The Solemn Declaration: Jesus Christ is God

Behold Jesus Christ, the King is God. The Most High God has asked me to make a declaration at this closing service of the four-day festival of testimonies. Today let it be known to the church and the whole wide world that this Jesus Christ, who is King and Lord is now the reigning and ruling King of the universe. The Holy Spirit is leading us to declare today to the world that Jesus Christ is not only both Lord and Christ, but he is God and Lord, King, and he is the ruler of the universe. It pleases the Father and the Holy Spirit to transfer all authority and power over the universe to Jesus Christ from now till the end of time.

The Foundation of Testimony

The Holy Spirit’s mission in the church was since the day to witness and testify and glorify Jesus Christ. On the day of Pentecost, the Holy Spirit came upon the Apostle Peter to make a declaration saying, “therefore let all the house of Israel know that God has made this Jesus, whom ye crucified, both Lord and Christ. Beloved, Jesus Christ, the Word, which we have learned here, the Savior and the Healer, is God. In John 1 we read, “in the beginning was the Word, the Word was with God, and the Word is God”. Jesus Christ, King of kings and Lord of lords, is assuredly the Word of God and we can testify today that he is indeed the word of God, Savior and healer.

 Our Position in His Kingdom

We learned that he is the spirit of life and light that is the core being, the core system in the human being. He considers man as his personal brother. The Father has made the redeemed joint heirs with Jesus Christ. We are his brethren in the first arrangement, but in the second arrangement, in kingdom affairs, we are priests and kings with him. He has made us priests and kings in the Father’s kingdom. He has made us kings, because he’s a king, and he’s reigning and ruling, and so he has given us opportunity also to reign and rule the world with him.

His Reverted and Reigning Glory

Having fulfilled his mission, the God-man on ascension to heaven, has now reverted to his original nature, position, and stature, and glory as God. Apostle John said, “I was in the Spirit on the last day, and I heard behind me a loud voice as of a trumpet saying, ‘I am the Alpha and the Omega, the first and the last’“. He said, “I am he who lives and was dead, and behold, I’m alive forevermore. Amen. And I have the keys of what? Hades and of death”. Having finished his mission, fully and credibly, he’s seated on glory and given all authority and power by agreement to be the reigning king and ruling God of the universe. He is power of powers in the heavens. He has a name above all the gods, spirits, and men. Jesus Christ is Lord, King, and God of the universe. Amen.
