ANOTHER GOSPEL, ANOTHER BIBLE, ANOTHER CHURCH! (Part 1)
THEME: RESTORATION OF THE KINGDOM MANDATE AND THE PRESERVATION OF GHANA’S DIVINE HERITAGE
Praise ye the LORD! Peace, be unto the Church and people of Ghana!
Enoch Immanuel Agbozo, servant of God and disciple of Christ, commissioned Apostle- Prophet by Jesus Christ and the Father to the Church, the people of Ghana, and the nations and peoples of the world. Our prime message—JESUS IS SOON COMING—is aimed at preparing the way of the Lord for His second coming.
We write concerning the Church, her mission, and her message to all men, all peoples, and all the nations. The Bible declares in John Chapter Three verse 16 (John 3:16) saying: “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.” The Lord Jesus Christ Himself re-affirms this, saying: “I am the way, the Truth and the Life. No one comes to the Father, except through ME.” (John 14:6 NKJV) The book of Hebrews re- echoes this by declaring further: “God, who at various times and in different ways spoke in time past to the fathers by the prophets, has in these last days spoken to us by His Son, whom He has appointed heir of all things, through whom also He made the worlds” (Heb. 1: 1-2)
According to the Christian Bible, the Lord Jesus Christ has come to save man from sin and death, to reconcile the world with God, so there be peace between man, peoples, tribes, nations, and world and GOD. Christ has also come to deliver and redeem man from his sinful nature, weakness, powerlessness, corruptibility, and mortality and raise him to a new nature, level, and glory as Spirit-Being of Divine Nature. Furthermore, Christ has come to overthrow, change, and transform the ‘Satan-man’ world order of rebellion, disobedience, rejection of God, wickedness, spiritual and social order of darkness and death, human depravity, and desolation and re-establish the original God-Man Relationship, Life, Light, and Liberty and God Kingdom Glory Order on earth. Accordingly, the Kingdom of God on earth is marked by Peace, Righteousness, Judgement, Justice, and Joy in the worship of God alone, His Divine reign and rule on earth and human affairs in general.
In short, the vision and mission of Jesus Christ, Son of the Living God, is not only to save, deliver, and redeem man from his fallen nature and the pervading force or law of sin and death, condemnation, curse, and the Satan-man war order of blood, violence, wickedness, and wars. Christ has also come to re-establish a new spiritual and social order of peace, goodwill, righteousness, justice, and joy on earth. Such will be the social manifestation of the Kingdom of God on earth when the will of God is done on earth—as it is the case in heaven (Matt. 6: 9-13). For this cause, the Church was founded, established, commissioned, and given authority and power as well as the keys to the Kingdom of heaven and sent out to redeem and disciple nations and peoples and gather creation back to God. “Lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world,” is the certificate and seal of the Church commission, mandate, and mission in the world. The truth is that Church Mission in all reality is Christ in mission with the people of God, His People in the nations.
The Church as the Bible reveals, are the people chosen of God, called, forgiven sins, born anew, sealed, equipped, granted power and authority, anointed and filled with the Holy Spirit both for living out Christ, the faith, and establishing the Kingdom of heaven on Earth, under the Spirit and Lordship of Christ Jesus, the Word of God. It is for this reason; Christ has made the Church Priests and Kings for His government and Kingdom on earth. The Kingdom of Heaven on earth pertains therefore to the Reign and Rule of God on earth through the Messianic dominion and governorship of the nations by Jesus Christ, King of Glory. Thus, though the Kingdom of God is a spiritual proposition, it has a social dimension and relevance in lives and affairs of peoples, tribes, nations, and the world. It is true to state therefore that God Reigns in the affairs of men.
For this cause, the Church was commissioned and sent out to go, preach, baptize, teach, and disciple the nations and the world concerning Christ Divine salvation, redemption, restoration, and peace on earth on one part and His Messianic Government and Kingdom Order on earth and the gathering of all creation back to God the Creator and Father on the other (Isaiah 9:6-7; Matthew 28: 18-20; Acts 1:8; Matthew 6: 9-13, 33; Ephesians 1: 1-10).
Let us relate a mission story on the importance of the Church’s Kingdom Mission in the world. In September 1984, during a mission in Kumasi themed “Righteousness Exalts a Nation,” the Lord spoke to His servant saying “My son, the Church has derailed four hundred years ago. Bring back the Church to me.” That was the year the Ghana Evangelical Society (GES) launched the “God Kingdom in Ghana Mission” with Isaiah 62:10 as commission mandate. The Society thereafter launched into the deeps of Ghana waters with the Gospel of Salvation, Deliverance, and Redemption on one hand and the Everlasting Gospel of the Kingdom of God on the other. The goal of the GES Kingdom Mission was to deliver, redeem, and make Ghana ‘Beulah Land,’—a nation and people married and made Holy unto God. Though there is much work ahead at the political front and governance, the mission is accomplished: Ghana has become a model of God Kingdom Glory nation and the Star of Africa. Hallelujah!
In the pursuit of Christ Redemption and Kingdom agenda, Ghana has witnessed explosion of the Gospel of Christ, evangelism, Church growth, and church planting and the Christian faith in the land. The deliverance and redemption of the country from ‘Satan-man’ spiritual, social, and kingdom order—Idol worship and witchcraft, blood sacrifice, wickedness, and wars, tribal and religious wars, and civilian-military ‘chess game’ have abated. Hallelujah! The flourishing of the Christian Faith is both a sign and guarantee of peace, righteousness, and joy in the land. Amen!
Ghana has regained her initial position and role as Divine chosen nation and Star of Africa. This she lost with the rise and fall of Nkrumah’s idolatrous, atheistic-humanist socialist order. As we have stated elsewhere, what is needed now is the ‘David’ on the throne to order, establish, and supervise the Government and God Kingdom Order and its glory under Himself in the political and social order, and national affairs of the country.
However, the Divine kingly reign and rule apart, there is need for the Church in Ghana to maintain and sustain truth, holiness, righteousness, faithfulness, purity, integrity, and credibility in the church’s priestly and prophetic roles in the nation. It is here that it is sad to say that the Church in Ghana is working not only to dilute the Truth, Integrity, and Purity of the Gospel of Christ, but also to derail the Kingdom Vision and Christ (Messianic) Kingdom Order and its Glory in the land.
It is an open secret that the Church in Ghana is on the verge of diverting the Gospel of Salvation, Redemption, and Kingdom Glory in Christ to a gospel of human, physical, emotional, and materialistic pursuits, creating what we can describe as ‘Another Gospel,’ leading to ‘Another Bible’ and ‘Another Church.’ This is a dangerous development—not only on account of the inherent rise of falsehood, false salvation, and damnation, but because it threatens also the total loss of the Church heritage, as happened in Europe and has descended upon the Church in America. Currently, there is a virtual denunciation of the Christian Faith and ‘In God We Trust’ as America’s national motto.
If this new development succeeds, the obvious result will be a different Church, a different nation, and people from the de facto Christian Ghana of today.
GOD RENEW THE CHURCH!!
GOD SAVE GHANA!!!
