THEME: THE RESTORATION OF THE NATIONAL SOUL AND THE TRIUMPH OF DIVINE LIGHT 

I bear witness that we are surrounded by bankruptcy, failure, and futility. I bear witness that man is his own enemy. Though Satan is an enemy to both God and man and is prone to wicked and wild acts and is in fact the father of lies, men seek his favor daily so they can deceive, rob, and destroy their neighbors, exploit, oppress, and shed blood to gain power, wealth, fame, and vain glory. The paths of such people are littered with wickedness, violence and wars, blood, and desolation. 

They master flattery, lies, and mischief to dislodge, dispose, and destroy the righteous, honest, and truthful. They set up people against people. They sell missiles and weapons to the weak, unstable, and vilified as well as the ambitious and desperate in their bid to build fortunes, amass wealth, gain power, and make name and live the life of vanity and vain glory. 

I bear witness that those who practice these things have gained access to and are in fact controlling the minds of millions. They command resources; therefore, they have waxed bold and strong in wickedness and destruction. They are growing in numbers. They have thereby raised the flag of wickedness, lies, corruption, and robbery to unprecedented heights in nations and in the world. 

Accordingly, truth, honesty, and love—along with righteousness, justice, and liberty—have been caged under siege. Indeed, peace, trust, happiness, and joy have fled into exile. They have become distant and invisible, leaving many without the strength to yearn for or work for their return. I bear witness that flatterers, liars, and slanderers, the crooked and uncouth, the violent and wicked now stand in the holy places in defiance of conscience and truth, the human race and God the creator. The Bible declares that when the wicked bear rule, the people mourn. 

To be sure, God, truth and history have always gotten the victory. But who cares now! Who understands the language of truth and honesty, sanity, purity, decency and beauty in a world beset with lies and corruption, violence and wickedness, wars and rumors of wars. There is, in fact, a profound indifference—or is it a lack of knowledge and understanding—concerning the state of anguish within the dying and perishing human soul? For example, depression and mental disturbances, drug addiction, and suicide, have gained central place in life conditions in many places. What can be seen, yes what can be expected and what can be left of many when Satan and wicked man, the serpent, “dragon and beast” become the gods to the human soul-spirit, custodians of the human heritage, and hence the destinies of peoples, tribes, and nations. 

I bear witness, that peoples and nations that succumb to the terror and reign of the violent and wicked, the dragon and the beast lose their souls. They become bankrupt in spirit, weak, and tormented in the mind. They lose faith, love, and hope. Therefore, they squander and scatter; they derail and degenerate progress and prosperity, life and liberty, social advancement, happiness, and the joy of life. 

I bear witness that peoples and nations that sell their souls to the wicked, and the dragon, money and vain glory have no existence but bankruptcy, failure, and futility. The Bible asks; what shall it profit a man if he gains the whole world and loses his soul! Or what shall a man exchange for his soul?  What, therefore, shall Ghana gain if she sells her soul to flattery and lies, violence and wickedness, idolatry and the serpent, the dragon and the beast? 

What do we expect but backwardness and poverty, darkness, and death when charms, sorcery, and witchcraft, and the arsenals of Satan, the gods, and goddesses are the tools and dictates of politics, religion, and culture, social engineering and life. The end result will be a nation and people of darkness and death, spiritual and soulish bankruptcy, mental derangement, failure and social malaise. 

I bear witness that it is from this sorrowful state that God has delivered and redeemed Ghana and set her apart us Nation and People Holy unto Himself —the Star of Africa. Unless the Lord God Jehovah had been on the side of Ghana, Ghana would have remained captive to Satan and wickedness and continue in bankruptcy in spirit, faint in heart and mind, a dispossessed and tormented people. Ghana would have lost her soul.  

But thanks be to God, He has forgiven Ghana’s sins and delivered her from the wicked Satan-man alliance. Ghana is free and become an open gate of Africa’s redemption, freedom, and liberty. LET US NOT GO BACK!
