THEME: THE MESSIANIC REDEMPTION AND THE THIRTY-YEAR WAR FOR GHANA 

The Heavenly ordained and ordered ‘New Thing’ in Africa, beginning in Ghana, entails the Christ (Messianic) human redemption, government, and kingdom mission on earth (Is. 9: 6-7; 42: 1-10). It involves the preaching of the Gospel of Christ for the salvation of souls and building the Church. His mission focuses on the reconciliation, redemption, and restoration of glory to man, and establishing the redeemed peoples, nations, and the rest of creation under His government and Everlasting Kingdom—specifically within the Gentile nations and the world as a whole. 

The Ghana Redemption Mission, that restored her to glory and established her under God, Peace, Freedom, Liberty, and Glory as Beulah Land—nation and people Holy unto God—involved battles in three major realms. The Spiritual Order, the Politico-Economic Order, and the Traditional and Cultural Order. 

The scriptural base for the National Redemption Mission was Isaiah 62 verse 10: 

“Go through, go through the gates! Prepare the way for the people; build up, build up the highway! Take out the stones, lift up a banner for the peoples! (NKJV) 

THE SPIRITUAL ORDER 

In the spiritual sphere, Christ Jesus raised The Divine End-Time Kingdom Army for battles to reconcile the nation with the Father—wage war, defeat, and overthrow the ‘Satan-man’ wicked powers controlling the affairs and destiny of country. The Kingdom battles to deliver the country took over twenty years, (1978 – 2000) to be precise to set Ghana free. The Lord’s human army was assisted by what we describe as THE DIVINE REDEMPTION MISSION MACHINE—involving a host of angels working under direct and personal control of Jesus Christ, the Lamb of God, and Lion of Judah as Commander-in-Chief, with the Holy Spirit— 

 directing and controlling the working movements of the joint forces of the human army and angelic hosts. 

The joint forces of the Angelic Redemption Machine and the End-Time Kingdom Army traversed throughout the country to deliver and liberate villages, towns, cities, tribes, regions, nations, and peoples from the Satan-man controlling powers. 

It may be stated by way of explanation, that towns, tribes, regions, and peoples under the control of gods and goddesses, witchcraft, and sorcery—with their fetish priests and priestesses, mallam and structures of religious, and social cults, etc.—had to be delivered with Christ Divine Authority, Power, and Fire. The result has been the weakening and elimination of the workings and control of tribal war gods and fetishes such as Tigari, Akonedi, Kotokro, Nadu, Krachi Dente, Antoa Nyame, Kankan Nyame, etc. around the country. There were battles with the ‘dragon’ and the spirits and powers from the sea, rivers, forests, hills, and mountains. 

The fallen influence of these satanic hosts of gods and goddesses, witches and wizards, cults et al —did not come by secular or religious education. It came through divine action and warfare for deliverance and liberation, through chosen vessels of the Church in Ghana. 

THE POLITICO-ECONOMIC ORDER 

The Politico-Economic Redemption came by way of Divine Judgement and upheavals in the political and economic realms, epitomized most succinctly, by the weakening economy from 1961, followed by the overthrow of Osagyefo Kwame Nkrumah regime in 1966, by the Armed Forces. The economic fortunes and social progress of the country were closely linked with the follow-up civilian-cum-military upheavals, political instability, confusion, and weather conditions.  

It may be worthwhile stating here that wisdom, good governance per se, and democracy are not the ruling factors in the political and economic state of the country. There are deep things, such as blood sacrifices, wicked manipulations, abuse of power, corruption, theft, robbery, and wicked alliances in domestic and foreign affairs by leaders and rulers. These stink high, provoke the creator, prompt divine wrath, and judgement that destabilize progress and life. Indeed, peace, political stability, economic growth, and democracy are the fruits of Divine action.  

One of the most potent, retrogressive, and destabilizing forces in the political arena and human affairs in Africa—in particular is blood sacrifices, witchcraft, violence, bloodletting, and of course wars. Africa’s story is town against town, city against city, tribe against tribe, kingdom against kingdom. There are wars and rumors of wars, and blood flow everywhere, every time through the years.  The dominance of tribal gods in Ghana’s tradition and culture tells it all. 

Politics, governance, and economic management fraught with violence, blood, abuse of power, robbery, theft, corruption, and capital flight have had to be stopped through Divine Acts. These interventions manifested as government failures, coups, and natural disorders—such as with weather conditions, poor harvests, and deaths. 

The combined operation of the Kingdom Army and the Angelic Redemption Machine took care of these spiritual, political, and economic variables. Much was and is being achieved essentially through Divine- directed evangelistic and prophetic missions, prayer, warfare, and watchman activities through the years. TRADITION AND CULTURAL HERITAGE  

The tradition and cultural front is another vexed area and deep battlefield for Divine interventionist deliverance and redemption moves. There is no disputation in this regard: that our fathers and ancestors have formed alliances with satanic hosts for the ruling of tribes, for traditional and customary practices and measures of conduct and social order in general. 

These needed to be spiritually confronted with Prayer, Evangelism, and the Discipling of converts and families, tribes, peoples, and nation supported by prophetic missions on the knowledge, will, truth, light, and way of God.   

The Christ Reconciliation, Deliverance, and Truth Mission is clear and distinct from the falsehood, deception, superstition, fear, and control through witchcraft, blood sacrifices to gods, demons, and so-called ‘dead ancestors’—who invariably are represented by familiar spirits, mediums, et al.  Militarization and police presence are not adequate weapons against spirits and the wicked. The demon ordered, activated, and controlled tradition, custom, and cultural heritage have had to be confronted with the truth, light, way, and knowledge of the True and Living GOD through evangelism, prophetic missions, preaching, and teaching in the church and in the nation, so, to break the yoke of bondage, the secret works of darkness, and shadow of death in the traditional and cultural practices that have kept tribes and people in perpetual bondage and captivity to Satan and wicked men and social desolation.  

For example, it is not without reason the outcry against the true and Faithful Church of God, such as with the Ga Homowo festival. The demand for Obeisance, Space, and Time to Ga gods and ancestors is typical of satanic domination and captive control mechanisms. The issue is not so much of human rights as of upholding tribal spiritual coercion in the worship of gods and ancestors, idolatry, and Satanism at that.  

The Gospel of Jesus Christ—with its Truth, Life, Light, Liberty, and Hope in the worship of the True and Only One God—is a mighty force of God Almighty against Satan’s rebellion and human disobedience. It liberates nations while reconciling them with the Creator, so there be peace and progress. It pulls down strongholds of captivity of souls of men, women, and children and releases Peace, Life, Light, Liberty, and Joy to tribes and peoples otherwise under Satan and human bondage. 

In conclusion, we declare that the Church in Ghana has waged the Christ Wars of Reconciliation, Deliverance, Liberation, and Redemption for years in the country. Extensive work has been done throughout the years to set Gold Coast/Ghana free.   

However, the raising of atheism, as well as the return to the adoption and intensification of Satanism, blood sacrifices, idolatry, and Satan control mechanism—in the name of ‘Africanism’ during the Nkrumah era changed the equation. It demanded a more and an equally intensified Divine response with spiritual, politico-economic, and cultural liberation enterprise to set Ghana free and restore her back on the God-chosen ordained and designed path of destiny and glory. 

In His own Divine wisdom, counsel, and action, the Almighty found a people for Jesus Christ for His Messianic Redemption and Kingdom Mission in Ghana. The battle for Ghana lasted for complete thirty years (1975-2005) for final declaration of MISSION ACCOMPLISHED. Ghana is now set in the Heavenly Ordained Divine Peace Order, with Christ Jesus—the Commander-in- Chief, Redeemer, Messiah, and King of Glory—in full control of the nation’s affairs. 

Ghana is established in Divine Peace. No spirit nor power can change this. No political party, government, nor chiefs, philosophers, scholars, business tycoons, or their foreign colleagues can change this. Ghana is now established as a CHOSEN NATION—redeemed, married, set apart, and Holy unto Jehovah God as Beulah Land, a God-Kingdom Glory State, the Star of Africa, and given the new name:  THE NEW JERUSALEM.
