THEME: DEFENDING THE HERITAGE OF PEACE AND THE DIGNITY OF THE MOTHERLAND 

Let us join hands together to pray down Divine blessedness of peace, mercy, goodness, progress, prosperity and glory for the land—so that evil, tyranny, and greed do not stampede and frustrate the God-given peace, victory, and hope we now enjoy. 

No more revolutionary cries of blood, violence, fears, and doom! No more abuse of rights and liberties, the trampling of human dignity, or desecration of sacredness of life. Let us reject the noise of lies and flattery, fraud of cheating and robbery, and the exaltation of hate, evil and violence, covetousness, greed, as if they are virtues. These have been forced down the throats and minds of the young, the uninformed and simple, paraded on our streets, airwaves, and print to jar the sensibilities and the peaceful and pleasant atmosphere of the motherland.  

O people of Ghana, let us rise up as one people with one destiny to defend our heritage of peace, good neighborliness, laughter, trust, joy, and hope in the Most High God.  Let no spirit, nor power nor person rob us of the blessed providence, joy and glory of the God of the land, Asaasewura, Creator of heaven and earth.  

Let us be weary when the hungry, greedy, needy, and ignorant are armed—whether with knives, sticks, guns, drugs and cell phones— to cow down dissent, legitimacy, and decency. We must reject those who extol armed robbery in our politics, justice, and good of the land 

with the view of seizing the nation’s wealth and treasures of the land. 

So, people of Ghana: love, pray for, and pursue the peace, righteousness, progress, prosperity and glory of the motherland.  

Peace be within thy palaces; Prosperity within thy gates; O PEOPLE OF GHANA!!
