THEME: EASTER VICTORY GUARANTEES JUSTICE AGAINST ABUSE OF POWER 

Grace and Peace in Jesus Christ be multiplied to all readers.  This is Easter, the celebration of the Love and Victory of God for mankind in the Crucifixion, Death and Resurrection of Jesus Christ. While we were dead in sins and trespasses, Christ died for us.  While we were without strength in the battle against sin and Satan, human frailty and powerlessness, Christ offered Himself both as a sacrificial Lamb for the atonement and remission of our sins and also as a Lion to do battle for the Liberation, Redemption and Restoration of Man.  

The Bible reveals in this regard that there is no condemnation for those who believe and accept God’s provision and work through Jesus Christ.   

Christ, the Lamb of God who taketh away the sins of the world is at the same time the Lion of Judah who has done, does and continues to do battle with the evil forces and powers of darkness and death to release and relieve man from captivity of Sin and Satan, Darkness and Death and the pain and sorrow of captive human soul-spirit, human degradation, Evil, Wickedness and Death and Social Disintegration.  

As the Holy Scriptures have revealed, and history has confirmed, unrighteousness and injustice, evil and wickedness, the wrath and judgement of God are the primary and principal causes of human suffering and social desolation, the fall of kings, empires and civilizations.  

It is true to say in this respect that judgement is written in nature.  That the ways, words and works of men do not pass unnoticed, unrecorded and unrewarded before and by God, The Creator.  “For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all unrighteousness, and unrighteousness of men who suppress the truth in unrighteousness” (Romans 1:18). 

Thus, do we find social unrest, social desolation and social disintegration in societies dominated and controlled by the rich and powerful, the learned and wise, who hold the truth in unrighteousness, who oppress and suppress society in their vain imaginations, corruptible and foolish, darkened and wicked hearts. 

It is on account of all this evil, pain, suffering and death, human degradation, social desolation and disintegration, man’s inhumanity to man, and wicked works of darkness, the satanic domination of man, emanating as it is from man’s fall in glory because of disobedience in the beginning, that Christ was revealed to reconcile man and creation back to God so there be Peace, Progress, Prosperity and Permanency.  

Every and all things that do not have the blessings of God fail.  All things pass and shall pass away except the will and word of God. It is with this in mind that we do not consider it disturbing, in fact we find it amusing when there is so much confusion, ‘hulla ballo’ and discomfiture about Tsatsu Tsikata and the GNPC saga, the Rawlings-NDC feud over the NRC. 

Is God asleep? Has He abandoned His Throne of Judgement?  Can legal technicality, human intelligence and power manipulation, satanic craftiness and power save the wicked and guilty from Divine Wrath and Judgement? No man can bribe God and obstruct the righteous system of Divine judgement. The Divine judgement machine grinds for generations.  Can man fight God and win.  

The law may be blind, lawyers, judges and court officials may be bright and daring, susceptible to bribery and manipulation, human conscience may fail rendering weak and impotent the justice machinery, but God, Truth and Righteousness will remain still, standing sure through and through.  Man created in the image of God cannot fight and resist the Creator and win (Psalm 90:1-12). The wrath and judgement of God abideth ever against every and all disobedience.  And to every disobedience and transgression, there is a just recompence of reward. 

It is sad in this connection for men chosen and entrusted with power, opportunity, state and national resources to abuse office with impunity thinking that God, nation and people are impotent and powerless against the power entrusted to them.  That they can use the power entrusted to them to bully God, Nation and People without restraint and order. For example, one cannot imagine that Mr. Tsatsu Tsikata can abuse the trust reposed in him by the then President Rawlings and fail the President, Government, Nation and People of Ghana.  

We want to believe in this respect that Mr. Tsikata is clear, blameless and innocent before his conscience and before GOD.  That the court presiding over The State versus TsatsuTsikata will end finding him guiltless and innocent making God, Nation and People glad to join him, his family and friends celebrate justice. They that serve country and people with pure and loyal heart and with diligence deserve all the praise, honor and reward. 

If, however, public servants abuse Trust, Office, Opportunity, National Assets and Resources, conspire and connive with fellow public servants and others to hold on to the ill-gotten, insulting justice, morality and the good sense of the people in the trail, the Creator will certainly settle matters in His Righteousness, Judgment and Justice.  No word; no act passes unrecorded and unrewarded.  The God of Ghana is on His Everlasting Throne. Amen. 

The NRC cannot therefore be coerced to abandon Truth, nation and People and stop God’s judgement machine.  God will not allow it.
