SERMON TITLE: The Four Graves on the Golden Gate Highway

SYNOPSIS

The Christian’s calling is to partner with the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit in establishing God’s kingdom, marked by holiness, righteousness, and faithfulness. Believers must resist the four “graves” (self, man, Satan, and Satan-man glory orders) to receive the Spirit of Christ’s victory for resurrection and restoration.

TRANSCRIPT

We give thanks and praise to the Lord God Most High for what has been described as this august gathering of the church and service of God. This has been described as an august gathering of children and servants of God, of the church body in Ghana, on a holy church mission for the church body in Ghana, Africa, and the world. This august gathering is for the launching of a holy church mission in this dark and destructive world, faced with possible human explosion led by the church, government, and people of the United States of America.

Africa has been described as a dark continent. Europe once was the light of Judeo-Christian nations and world order. America emerged at one stage of the church and nations’ experience as a place of restoration of God’s kingdom, glory, and order in the nations and of world order itself. The world order, the divine order, ordered human liberty and dignity. America has stood for liberty, and so it has protected people from many nations. And instead of being a blessing to people, it has used its blessing to rather become an exploitative world power that has taken on capitalism and other evil practices. In the end, today, America has rejected God, who was the foundation, the spirit, the direction, and the glory of the United States of America. Today, America has fallen, as I said, into the pit—a smattering of human perversion and explosion in decades. Praise the Lord.

The mantle has fallen upon little Benjamin of Ghana. The mantle has fallen upon little Benjamin of Ghana for Africa to raise the light and glory of Jehovah God in human affairs and the Kingdom of God and His Christ on the earth. Christ, as we know, is the light and star of God’s kingdom, glory, and order on earth. He is the hope of redemption, peace, life, liberty, and glory for the human race. He is the Spirit of Truth. He is also the Spirit of Truth, righteousness, justice, and liberty for the human race. Jesus Christ is also the spirit and power of salvation, redemption, resurrection, and restoration of glory for man, for creation, the nations, and the world.

Thanks be to God. The Triune God has found and raised a man and a church and a nation in Africa to be the dwelling place for the Triune God and the throne of God on earth. There were the times of Europe. There were the times of America. Today, the world is in darkness, and where is that light and glory for? It has fallen on Africa, and in Africa, where has it fallen? This question arose when I was a student at the university in 1963, 10 years after we sang “The Church’s One Foundation,” and I saw a heaven vision and the coming down of the Kingdom of God in a special way. I wasn’t so much a deep Christian, if I was at all, and the question on the lips of the whole world who were asking this thing was, “Why Ghana?” I’ve tried to answer “Why Ghana?” all these years. Today, we have come to the reality that God has chosen Ghana in Africa for the new thing of divine heritage of glory. God wants to do things anew, all things new.

The new thing of divine heritage of glory for the human race and nations of the world has found a place in our nation. The holy church mission, which we have launched now, is the place of action to raise that awareness, both of the church, the human race, and the rest of creation, to this glorious new thing that is descending from heaven back on earth. In Isaiah 42, we know that God has designed and sent his son, in whom he has great delight, to be the instrument of bringing the new thing of change in Africa. First, the Bible says, did it say Africa? It said the Gentile nations. After Israel rejected God and they were scattered, God was looking for a place where he could find a people ready to receive him, that through them he might reveal himself to the nations of the world. That was the place and position of Israel.

Instead of making this well-known so that the nations would be attracted by the peculiar circumstances and glory of God’s kingdom order in Israel, they rather turned around to follow the nations and began to take the idolatry, the gods, and the practices of the nations. God gave them several warnings. They didn’t bother. The result is that they have been scattered. Jesus came to bring restoration. Today, even Israel is waiting to receive Jesus Christ. The political Israel we have here is not the spiritual Israel that existed there. The name Benjamin doesn’t even give glory to it. In the midst of things, Europe emerged.

Africa received the gospel first. The first translation of the scriptures into other languages was where? In Alexandria in Africa. So while Africa was receiving the glorious liberty and glory of God, Europe also was excited. The Greek came. Ultimately, the Romans took their place. Africa lost. We didn’t lose, but I don’t want us to go into history, but one of the critical things is that the church that was sprouting in Africa (Ethiopia) was challenged by Muslims, and the Muslims took North Africa. It was only on taxation—go back—that the Muslims proposed a taxation. When they were rebelling against taxation, they proposed a kind of order, and the Christians received the beat. Today, they have stamped out Christianity in North Africa. So instead of Africa leading in the race, Africa became today back in the race. So Europe received.

Europe was having confusion about debates among churches. The Kingdom of God thing is the question in Europe, and the church was taking advantage of the Kingdom of God to use the power of the state to oppress other believers. This situation led to the church spreading over to America to find a solid place where the Kingdom of God can prosper. There shall be a spiritual, religious, and political liberty where the state cannot be an instrument of oppression of religious activity. Today, Obama has brought oppression of religious activity. So America, that was the hope and glory of God, to where all the people drew. Today, America has fallen into the pits, as I said.

But in the struggle of things, in the tumbling of things, in the mixing of things, in His eternal plan, Africa is now on top. But of course, one would ask the Lord, “Why not Asia? Why Africa?” At a recent press conference, somebody asked me the same question, and the only thing I said is that His wisdom and sovereign authority, nobody can challenge. The grace of God has found us. So here we are being confronted with the possibilities not merely of, not only of the new thing within our nation, but the new thing globally. And this beautiful new thing, which is yet to emerge, hallelujah, is going to be here. And let me share a little thought with you.

Christian, the Bible tells me, and the Spirit of God has brought it to my personal attention almost 20 years or more ago, there’s a hope, and the church knows it, that a new temple shall be built. And people expect it to be in Jerusalem or Mount where? That temple will be built in Ghana. Hallelujah. So in this little effort of drawing the church together, we are sowing a seed of the whole world coming to Ghana to worship God. Beloved, but when America made a statement—take note of this—when Obama made a statement, and I read the religious department of religion in America’s statement on the Supreme Court ruling on religion, all I told myself is that you will find many rich people in America—I mean rich Christians in America—very soon coming to buy land here. Because this is a land of liberty.

Ghana, the land of liberty. I wrote one article, there’s no need for government to go and look for money. No. Money will come to this country by itself. People of riches. I mean, it is not that we are going to the IMF. We’ll be lending to certain nations somehow or another. Because rich men, who want a place of peace, freedom, and liberty, where God can be worshipped, they will find a place where? In Ghana. Ghana has been chosen. Lord Jesus said, but beloved in Jesus Christ, these great possibilities also bring responsibility.

Beloved, the holy church mission has brought us to a discovery that Ghana, the church in Ghana and Africa, have a responsibility for the world. For the church has a peculiar role as the third party of the Father’s order Triumvirate: Jesus Christ, the Holy Spirit, and the Church of holy men for the new thing of the Ghanaian heritage of glory, God’s kingdom, glory, order, His reign and rule on earth. Yes, it is during this conference, we have learned, when I’m talking about the church, I’m talking about that the church has a peculiar and a glorious responsibility to form part of a triumvirate. The Father, seated on His throne in heaven, has sent Jesus Christ and released the Holy Spirit to combine with Jesus Christ to find a man and have found the church. And He made them holy unto Himself. So Christ, the Son, the Holy Spirit, and redeemed man who have been made holy unto God, form a triumvirate for determining a new world order.

This is what we have learned here. So the church, the jealousy of myself, the jealousy of the Spirit of God, the jealousy of the Father for the church is not a simple thing. Because if the human race would ever be the human race, then it is who can do it? Christ, the Holy Spirit, and the church. And the church is the holy people that God has chosen. So you are holy people, you are holy unto God. And His desire is that you walk in holiness, righteousness (that is, in obedience terms), and faithfulness (consistency), without whatever the challenge, whatever the tribulation, you remain faithful unto the end. This is what we call a holy church: that nothing will happen in your life, or in your life, in your experience, that you shall diverge in any way from the holy call.

And these are the people, these holy men and women, who Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit will bring together to create a new world. So the vision for humanity redeemed, restored to glory, is that there shall come a time that there shall be no dissenting voice, no negative person, not just an odd person, that all shall be holy unto God. And this world, He said, is going to create a new heaven and a new earth. And those who cannot conform are to be cast out, and they cannot be born again. And there is coming a time that the earth shall be inhabited by people, and God shall dwell with human beings in a holy assembly, and we shall bear the nature and mark of God in Jesus Christ. So when we work with, we are even higher than angels.

So the earth will be inhabited by these new holy people unto God, and you are one of them. I’m not bringing something new, I’m just reminding you who God has made out of you, for which you should be happy—not just proud, because grace has found you, but thankful in that God. We are happy because we belong to Him. But you know, we are happy not because we belong, we didn’t fight to belong, we were called by Him. Yesterday I told you that he didn’t take a decision to find God, what did he do? He found you himself, he called you out of the crowd. And so you should be grateful day by day.

You’ve seen what? He renews His faithfulness! You’ve seen that, but you are not faithful. You are not faithful every month. If you give you one month, you can’t do it. But he is faithful every morning. But while you are talking about, you’re seeing his faithfulness, your mind is somewhere else. So you see the problem of God. That’s why I say I love God. I don’t know how he can manage such people like me and you. Christ, the Holy Spirit, and this holy Church of called-out men are the agents for the new thing of the vanguard and kingdom order, and reign everywhere on earth.

The holy church mission is geared, therefore, towards raising the light and standard of holiness, righteousness, and faithfulness of the church for the Triumvirate action in the reconciliation, redemption, restoration, and establishment of the new thing in and for a new world of Divine heritage of glory. God has a vision for a new thing. And the Gentiles, the Bible tells us that—the Holy Spirit tells us in Romans—that if we who have been grafted onto it, and we were not the first recipients of the ordinances, we have been grafted, and God is using us, making us glorious right there. It shall be a jealous and angry thing to those who deny their original possession. So the Gentile nation shall be so blessed that Israel shall return, and Israel shall find Him. Now he will know that Jesus Christ indeed is the Messiah. Because of what God is going to do with the human race in the Gentile nations, hallelujah.

The Jews were persecuted in Germany, Poland, in other places, hallelujah. They found a resting place where? In America, in Russia, in other places. But America became a land of liberty. Now America has been the main state of Israel—a political Israel, not a spiritual Israel. America has Jews, because many Jews—most of the political parties and business houses in America—are owned by Jews. So they defend Israel. And you cannot be a successful politician if you stand against Israel in America. No, no. So the Lord turns things around, and the people who were the inheritors of the ordinances are now looking to a Gentile nation called America for help. So also shall it be that things will be turning around, that Israel shall look to Ghana for help.

In Isaiah 19, he said what? “There shall be a highway from where? Egypt. To where? Through Assyria. To where? Israel.” And Israel, Assyria (the Middle East and Arab nation), and Africa shall worship the same one God. So far, the Golden Gate Seminar has led us to discover the nakedness of the fallen and stinking state of the church in dark graves set in place by Satan and men. Christ was tried, tempted, and tested in his love, passion, and dedication to the Father’s kingdom glory order on earth. He rose victorious in his encounter with Satan, the devil, who is the architect and power behind the dark graves we are going to talk about, into which the church, nations, and peoples have fallen and decayed in perversion.

Christ’s victory is a spirit of divine glory who this gathering is called upon to bathe in, to drink deep, to rise up to the heights of perfection and glory for the triumphant mission for the new thing, a new world order of God’s kingdom glory order on earth. The Lord is releasing a divine spirit of Christ’s victory and glory at this gathering, and we are here and invited to bathe in this divine spirit, to drink deep of the Spirit, and so to rise up to heights of perfection and glory for the triumphant mission with Christ and the Holy Spirit for the new thing, a new order of God’s glorious kingdom glory order on earth. This is a vision of spiritual, historical, global, and eternal significance. We cannot easily dismiss it, and I pray that you can’t ask God for a clear understanding.

I’m saying that this privilege of bathing and drinking and rising in this glorious victorious Christ’s spirit is for the new thing, for the church to be able to partner Christ, the Son of God, and the Holy Spirit for effective creating of a new world. Hallelujah. This is a vision of spiritual, historical, and eternal significance all around the world. God bless us to be here and involved. We have discussed the nakedness and sinking church in the grave.

We have come on this third and last day to the government and power of resurrection and restoration to play the requisite peculiar and glorious royal priesthood role of the church, the Father’s glory order and mission on earth. Beginning in Ghana, Africa, this Ghana that has been elected and chosen as the nation and people of God, the nation and people of the new thing in the Gentile nations of one world and the world. Before lining up for the resurrection and restoration spirit and power, let us conclude the discussion on the graves on the highway of the Golden Gate.

Let me give you a little bit, what is this divine nature and glory we are talking about? Beloved, the divine nature and path of divine glory for man comprise of three major factors:

1. The new birth: Before you can enter this divine glory, you must be born anew. If you have been given the remission of sins and saved by Christ, and you are not born anew, you can’t enter this particular glory. The Christ Spirit, the divine Holy Spirit coming to indwell you, is the basis of the possibilities of the new thing. And so beloved, if you are a Christian, a churchgoer, whatever, a believer, a Muslim, you think that you are born, but if you are not born anew, you can’t make it. This is not a human theology. It is God’s word. John chapter 1, verses 12 through 16, will hammer it to you. He came on his own, but as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God. And what does he give to them? He was full of grace and truth. And he passed on that grace and truth and glory to us. Except you are born of this Spirit, of holiness, grace, and truth, that is only possible through Jesus Christ, you can’t enter the glory I’m talking about.
2. The baptism of the Holy Spirit: Jesus said, after you have been born again and inhabited by Christ, there’s something you still need, the baptism of the Holy Spirit. So you have to be baptized by the Holy Spirit. So you can be a true witness of Christ. And you can receive the graces and glory of divine habitation, power, and demonstration of the reality of God. So the second important thing is that you are baptized by the Holy Spirit. You cannot be the child of God and the son of God without this wonderful presence of the Holy Spirit in your heart. And we know that Jesus will fill you with all. I’m not teaching here, I’m just reminding you. The purpose of the baptism is first, after you have found Christ in you, he will come upon your soul. So we know that we have learned that there are three witnesses for this meeting and they are Christ, the Holy Spirit, and the Church. So you have Christ in you, you must have Him with you, the Holy Spirit. And the Word of God which is a contact point. Then all who have received this Christ and the Holy Spirit become holy unto God. That sets you apart. That is your identity mark, your belonging. So if I’m asking you to choose where you’ve gone, if you are born again, you are baptized by the Holy Spirit and you are inhabited by and dwelling in this beautiful garment of Christ and Holy Spirit, you don’t need to decide anymore where to go. You are already where you are. Choose where you belong. It should not be a question thrown to you. It is only thrown to those who are perverted and are straying away from the flock. And that this occasion is to remind them that you belong to a holy order and not yourself, not Satan, not the world. So the question of “where do you belong” is not right. But it is a reasonable cause because people have strayed. And the word we are finding here is that they have fallen into graves. The gift of the Holy Spirit and the operation of the Holy Spirit set one main purpose: to witness and testify of Jesus Christ as the one sent, the Savior, Redeemer.
3. Rise in divine nature: So we rise in divine glory, divine nature, and standing in grace, truth, and glory in Jesus Christ. Now that we are born again, the Holy Spirit has come to indwell us, and we are walking together. It’s an open door to rise in divine nature. So that then we can have communion and a working relationship with Christ and the Holy Spirit. Because if you have not got the deposit, and then there’s no preparation in this order, you cannot be a partner. You cannot be a partner of Jesus Christ. The Holy Spirit cannot operate within you. If your mind is perverted, you are seeking somewhere, looking through the window, which is the tightness of the right place. Where does my heart, my heart come from? And you believe that some mountain in Ashanti, or some power in the sea, or go to India, or some go to Benin, to get some power, so that you can raise your hand when people are falling down, or you can heal diseases. Because then you are not really established in Christ, in the Word of God, and the Holy Spirit. Rise in glory, rise in divine nature, standing in the grace and glory of God. Amen.

I want you to consider here the challenges of the Supreme Court ruling once again, and the U.S. Department of Religion. I’m coming back to see the danger and the explosive nature of this decision. The name, power, and testimony of Jesus Christ is the greatest issue of confrontation or debate in the present confusion in America. Beloved in Jesus Christ, men can talk of God, but not Jesus Christ. They can talk of other things, difficulties, but not sin. But they can talk of other faiths or religions, but not faith and hope in Jesus Christ as the only way, truth, and life of God, the Creator, for both the fallen and redeemed man. Even the redeemed man still needs Jesus Christ. We are born again, filled with the Holy Ghost. We are rising in nature, but we still need God. For Christ in us is the hope. The hope of perfection into the reality of what God wants us to be.

So I want to thank you. This is the prime reason and purpose of the graves set in place on the highway of divine Golden Gate of glory. The alternative propositions on the way we found out during our discussion, these are the self, man, Satan, and Satan-man kingdom glory order. This alternative answer basically did deny Jesus Christ as the Savior and Redeemer. And He being the God, He is God, King, Lord, Ruler, and Judge of all things. So if there’s a Christian who is getting out of order, and he still says Jesus is Savior and Lord, Redeemer, but he consults these other things, he has denied Christ. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. If there’s any Christian—quote it, quote me—if there’s any Christian who has gone to India, or gone to a fetish house, or gone to get any power for signs and miracles, and he sees that he can have those signs and miracles to get money, to get fame, to get power, and because he still is preaching Christ, saying “I’m a Christian,” he’s been deceived by Satan. And that person needs help. He’s a person we should love and get him out of the grave. And that is what this mission is about.

We are not condemning them, we are saying, that’s why the question was, “Choose where you will serve?” Because you know where you belong. How can you say that I only go and get the power so that I can make miracles and I get money, I get home? So I know, “oh no, you know, what I… I know that Christ will forgive my sins.” The love of God cannot fail. So when I’m about to die, I’ll confess. Because if you confess your sin, Jesus will reward. You see the perversion of a man. So the Holy Spirit knew you have denied him. Because, and the sin against whom, it cannot be forgiven. Because his conviction of sin, righteousness, and judgment, you have rejected. Know that the alternative propositions brought in the graves, they also present fulfillment and glory of their kind. That’s what the church doesn’t see. When the alternative propositions of self, man, Satan, and Satan-man are presented, they can demonstrate things. They have their own type of miracles and glory. So if it is a solution of miracle of glory you are looking for, then you can eat it from the serpents. But we are looking at something beyond just miracles and breakthroughs. We are looking for Christ—Christ in us, at His glory.

Beloved, here’s the question now again, before us: choose your way. Now what is the actual nature of the graves?

1. Self, the self-fulfillment grave: In Matthew 4:3-7, then was Jesus led up of the Spirit into the wilderness, verse 1, to be tempted of the devil. And when he had fasted 40 days and 40 nights, he was afterward hungry. Jesus had been declared by the Father, “This is my beloved Son,” and what happened on that occasion? The Holy Spirit came. So he too as a human being became the spirit that is Christ, in the human form is Divine. But he also needed the baptism of the Holy Spirit for his mission. So the Holy Spirit came at John the Baptist’s water baptism and dwelt on him. And John said the one upon whom you see that the Spirit of God is dwelling, he is the Son of God. So we are also sons of God because we are born again of the Spirit and we have God who dwells on us, the Holy Spirit. So having been now made ready and declared to creation that this is God’s beloved Son, he had to go and prepare spiritually, physically, mentally, and all. The endurance power, and he had to fast how many days? 40 days. And the Bible says he was hungry. Praise the Lord. Then what happened? And when the tempter came to him, he said, “If thou be the Son of God, command that these stones be made bread.” That’s the first one. If we continue to verse 7, you find the same principles run through. For example, but he answered and said, “It is written, ‘Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeded out of the mouth of God.'” Then the devil took him up into the holy city and set him on a pinnacle of the temple, and said unto him, “If thou be the Son of God, cast thyself down, for it is written, ‘He shall give his angels charge concerning thee.'” And the same angels shall bear thee up, lest at any time thou dash thy foot against a stone. Jesus said unto him, “It is written again, ‘Thou shall not tempt the Lord thy God.'” You know that the self dimension here, meaning he said, “I know you are born again.” “I know you are filled with the Holy Ghost.” “I know there are no tears upon you.” “Oh, and why are you poor? Mr. Pastor, how can you afford to be poor when all this Holy power is upon you? Why are you in need? All you need is to command.” “And there are stones here, you have anointing. Command the stone to become food and eat.” So they are teaching you that once you have got this anointing, you have power, you have faith, you have power, and you can command all things. You seek to meet your needs. But it is not your needs. God’s vision and mission is what you are serving. It is not you to fulfill yourself. It is God’s plan. And so he has given you an anointing to fulfill his plan, but you turn the anointing and the opportunity and the grace and the glory of God, and the power of God, to fulfill your needs. So you have, now who is the one you are serving? Self. Self. So that’s the grave, you see. When I look at these people, young men and bishops, archbishops, popes, apostles, prophets—all these—a lot of them have not even passed the first test. This very question: “Who shall be a disciple of Jesus Christ? Who are the disciples of Christ?” If you don’t die to yourself, if you don’t deny yourself, you cannot be a disciple. So you see, they have fallen. They are not pastors anymore.
2. Man-Glory, the self-glory grave: Matthew 4, verse 8. The second grave is the man, the human glory. The devil took him up to an exceeding high mountain. And showed him all the kingdoms of the world and the glory of them. You know, these are the things that he has got. These are the things that he has obtained. All the glory of them, not a little bit of them. All the glory of them. And he said, “All these things will I give thee if thou wilt fall down and worship me.” And the glory of man: the accumulation, the riches, the fame, the status, the stature, which is the second grave, the glory of man. The lust of the eyes. This is all the kingdoms of the world and their glory. This is the Second Adam’s falling order. The lust of the eyes, and the pride of life. All these things, you see. I’m telling you what you are going to see, that if you’re a child of God, you are following Christ, he said, “Look at them. Look at the way they are living. Look at the houses they have built. Look at the cars they are riding. Look at the prestige of this man.” He’s a bishop, he’s an archbishop, he’s a pope, he’s an apostle, he’s a prophet. And look at their houses. They are glorified. The man has glory. All these things, they are the glory of man. And the devil said, “I have them all. You have to worship me to get them.” Now, you are a Christian. You are following Christ. You are anointed. You are walking in holiness, righteousness, and faithfulness. But your wife says, “But look at this man, this is the time we are talking about.” And you say, “Look at my ministry. I’m poor. Where is the glory? They say you are anointed. Where is the evidence?” Where is the evidence? And because of that, you deny Christ. And you start praying to the devil, you start doing things that the devil will like. And you become a satanic agent, and you preach Christ. The lust of the eyes, the pride of life.
3. Satan-Glory, the satanic power grave: Matthew 4, verse 9. “All these things will I give thee, if thou wilt fall down and worship me.” The third one, Satan glory, satanic power, satanic glory. This is the lust of the flesh. The lust of the flesh is a satanic glory. Satan’s kingdom, glory, and world order. It’s an issue of worship. And the fourth grave…
4. Satan-Man Glory, the combined Satan-man order grave: Matthew 4, verse 10. “Get thee hence, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve.” Then the devil left him. Then the devil left him, and behold, angels came and ministered unto him. The fourth grave, which is a combination of Satan and man, Satan-man kingdom glory order, is also denied by Christ. The self-dimension, the human-dimension, the Satan-dimension, and the Satan-man dimension—this combination is also a grave. Christ rose victorious over all four propositions. He rose victorious, the Bible says. The devil left him. The devil leaves all true children and servants of God. The devil has no power over a holy man. He has no power over a righteous man. He has no power over a faithful man. So the question is: Are you one of them? If you are one of them, the devil will flee. He will leave you alone. He has no power. But if you are not, then you are giving room to him. He will come again in due time. He will come again in due time. So it is not a once and for all victory, but he knows that you’re a man of consistency, non-changing. He knows that you’re a man of holiness. He knows that you’re a man of righteousness. So he will not spend too much time on you. He will leave.

Jesus Christ’s victory is the spirit of life, peace, and glorious restoration for the human race. The Lord Jesus Christ gives us His victory, which is the spirit of life, of peace, of glorious restoration for the human race. His victory is the spirit of life and glory of the Father’s kingdom on earth. The devil leaves. The devil leaves. The devil leaves you alone after your victory. Christ’s victory is the spirit of resurrection and restoration. Christ’s victory is the spirit of resurrection and restoration for the church and the nations. God is saying, “I have made you holy. Walk in it. Be faithful in it. Be righteous in it. Be committed to it.” And you shall overcome.
