The Divine Call and the Covenant of Hope

Central Spiritual Truth: God remembers His covenant with humanity even in the deepest spiritual darkness to bring redemption through Christ.

• Pitch darkness once bewitched all things and created a world where no voice could be heard. However, the Lord called out to the human race to remember His eternal covenant.
• When the human race was completely lost, Christ appeared as the Lamb of God to redeem both humanity and the lost creation. This redemptive act was intended to give hope to God the Creator.
• The world currently reels to and fro without hope, and darkness has even followed upon the church. Individuals are striving to find a foothold in a time of seeming hopelessness.
• The One who spoke “let there be” in the beginning has appeared again to order things as they were at the start. He sustains all things by the power of His word despite the surrounding darkness.

The Strategic Mission of the Church and the Holy Spirit

Central Spiritual Truth: The church is a divine institution authorized by Christ and activated by the Holy Spirit to overcome the powers of darkness.

• Jesus knew the resistance the church would face from centuries-old knots of rebellion and satanic disobedience. These powers claimed to possess and own the earth, requiring their permission for any human activity.
• Christ declared, “I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it”. He provided the church with the keys of heaven to bind and loose on earth.
• The church is described as a school where saved individuals deal with divine, eternal issues. It is a three-tier movement involving Jesus Christ, the Holy Spirit, and redeemed man in action.
• A “three chord movement” or triangle is formed where the Holy Spirit receives from the Father and Son to give to the church. The church remains static and cannot go anywhere without the presence and power of the Holy Spirit.
• The Holy Spirit ties a “new knot” to the glory of the Lord, replacing the old knot of rebellion. This allows the freed world to relate to the Creator in peace, righteousness, and hope.

Scriptural Anchor: “And I say also unto thee, that thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.” Matthew 16:18.

The Transformation into a New Creation

Central Spiritual Truth: Authentic participation in God’s kingdom requires a total death to the old self and a rebirth through the Holy Spirit.

• Old Adam has no place in the kingdom of heaven because Christ brings a kingdom that is not of the earth. To enter this system, a person must be born again and baptized by the Holy Spirit.
• Redeemed man is turned into a divine spiritual personality who can speak heavenly languages that only God can hear. This transformation allows believers to commune with the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit as if they were equal.
• Believers must die to themselves because the rejected “self” cannot be part of the divine system. If a person loves their old life, they will die, but rejecting it leads to life eternal.
• The church is a new educational institution where old cultural identities like Fante, Northern, or European are past. Everyone denounces what they were to become one body, one spirit, and one faith.
• True believers are no longer their own and must forget who they thought they were to become what God wants. This transition is necessary because God will not deal with the “old you”.

 The Individual’s Walk and Spiritual Exercises

Central Spiritual Truth: Every individual must personally seek the baptism and deepening of the Holy Spirit to fulfill their specific divine assignment.

• Beyond being a member of a group, each person is an individual called by God and presented to Christ by the Spirit. It is imperative to know you are a new creation so you can grow in the new things of God.
• Baptism in the Holy Spirit does not require a commotion or “shouting and jumping” to be valid. It can happen in a serene quiet place, while washing plates in the kitchen, or while driving and singing.
• Spiritual gifts such as prayer, prophecy, and vision are systems that must be deepened and expanded through exercise. Many fail to prophesy even to themselves because they do not exercise faith in the “new thing” within them.
• Believers must break rules and connections from their old lives to put on the robe of a Christian. If obstacles exist, one must confess those spirits in the name of Jesus so they will flee from the holy ground.
• The Lord is opening doors of assignments to individuals who have been hanging around without entering their rest. Talk to the Lord tonight to confirm your position and receive the fullness of direction for your ministry.
