THEME: BUSH MUST HALT WAR TO AVOID BLOODY COMBAT AND DIVINE JUDGMENT 

In our first submission on “BUSH-AMERICA at WAR IN IRAQ” we not only bemoaned President Bush’s attempt to take on the Glory of God as “Redeemer of the Iraqis People”, stating as we did that no one but God is the Redeemer, we also suggested that God cares about the numbers of people who would be killed and perish in the process.  The Dead, Wounded and Pows of Iraqi, American and British citizens would only be serving as sacrificial lambs at the altar of Bush political and economic gambles. 

Again, may we ask does God care?  Of course, God does care. 

It is on this note that we can project Phase 2 of the war, or as described by others the Invasion of Iraq. So far, the US-British forces have advanced with ease, albeit against “unexpected” stiff resistance from the Iraqi people. The next phase of the war would be fought at the following three fronts:  

The first will be military combat between the opposing forces in the US-British bid to take over Baghdad and remove Saddham Hussein. This will be very bloody with many casualties on both sides if the combat is to take place in the streets of Baghdad.  Or will it be one of US-British soldiers in combat with biological and chemical weapons at the outskirts of Baghdad. 

The second front will be combat in the conscience of the US-British forces who for all practical purposes have not been given any serious credible reason but “Obey-Command” for the war. American/British soldiers will soon be forced to shoot and kill at random any and all they face when the Iraqi soldiers mix up with civilians, turning buildings, institutions and all into battleground. Can the conscience of the US soldiers permit them to desecrate Baghdad with the blood of the innocent? 

There is a third force, Divine Intervention when the LORD GOD of Hosts sends out waves of winds, storms, sand dunes and extra heavenly weaponry to frustrate, disrupt and disorganize the US-British war machine. 

The Bible declares in Psalm 29 in this respect that:  

The voice of the lord is over many waters. 

The GOD of glory thunders 

The LORD is over many waters 

The voice of the LORD is powerful 

The voice of The LORD is full of majesty. 

The Voice of the LORD breaks the cedars, 

Yes, the LORD splinters the cedars of Lebanon. 

The Voice of the LORD divides the flames of fire. 

The Voice of the LORD shakes the wilderness. 

The LORD shakes the Wilderness of Kadesh. 

The LORD sat enthroned at the Flood, 

And the LORD sits as King forever 

(Ps.29:3-5; 7-8, 10)

God will hear the prayers of the saints and the cries of the peoples of the world. 

There is a fourth possibility, “When Saddham Hussein gets Mad” and releases the full weight of Iraqi biological and chemical weaponry upon the “Enemy” and all. This is a possibility which all saints everywhere should pray against.  But if the prayers may have any meaning and relevance then prayers should also be made for The LORD to stop President Bush. 

Indeed, Peace in Iraq, the Restoration of Peace and Stability in Europe, the USA and at the United Nations, and peace in the world can only come about if President Bush stops the war in Iraq. No one but President Bush can return the world to normalcy.  However, we must not lose sight that The LORD sat enthroned at the Flood, And the LORD sits as King forever.  The LORD will give strength to His people; The LORD will bless His people with peace” (Psalm 29:10-11). 

God reigns and rules in the affairs of men. God will hear the cries of humanity across the globe.  He will answer.  The answer is here!!
