TRADITION CAN NO LONGER REIGN IN GHANA
THEME: GHANA MUST REJECT TRADITION FOR GOD’S ORDER
O people of Ghana, our beloved country is a new nation. It is a nation and people reconciled, redeemed, restored to glory, married and made holy unto the Most High God, creator of heaven and earth by Himself.
Let it be known that the new Ghana is not of, has not been made out of and therefore cannot be reigned by tradition. Indeed, it will be abomination to God, if the People of Ghana turn back to the old ways and the tradition of the fathers in the conduct of the affairs of the New Ghana. It may be recalled in this connection that our fathers attempted without success to build and establish independent Ghana as a viable state and star of Africa. The Old Ways of politics and business, and the traditions of old proved to be their undoing.
The Old Ways and Tradition of the fathers must give way to New Ways and New Order. This is why we declare that tradition can no longer reign over Ghana. God the redeemer and restorer, who has become the God and salvation of the new Ghana will not allow it.
May we state here that by Tradition, we are referring to four main ways of old which formed the basis of vision, hope and practice conceived by our fathers for the spiritual and social order, the politics, governance and business of independent Ghana. These old ways were primarily responsible for the darkness and captivity that besieged the country.
The four old ways are:
a. Chieftaincy – The Tradition, Culture and Practice, the Spiritual and Politico-Social Order based on the power of the gods and men, their directions, oppression and manipulations.
b. The religious systems – beliefs and practices that on the whole hold people in fear and bondage instead of Truth, Life and Liberty.
c. Party politics based on human philosophies and ideologies that reject God and the knowledge of Him, and in any case breed divisions, disbelief and mistrust, confrontations and instability.
d. Social organisation through political dictatorship, regimentation and military rule.
It is the combined effect of the interplay of the traditional forces of Darkness, Disintegration and Desolation that held up the country’s development, social advance and progress with nationhood in spite of the divine will and Pleasure, Rich Resources and the Goodwill of Nations and Peoples.
In the end, they provoked Divine Judgement and ultimate intervention to redeem and restore and re-order the nation’s standing as Star of Africa.
The Most High Almighty God Jehovah went out of His Way to reconcile the nation to Himself, to overthrow the powers of darkness of the Satan-Man Alliance and kingdom order so to establish Nation and People in His Mercy and Goodness, Life and Liberty, and the Peace, Righteousness and Justice and Joy of His Kingdom Order through faith in His son, Saviour and Mighty God. It appears that this spiritual truth and historical fact is escaping the chiefs, political party and religious leaders, and even the academics of the country.
There is accordingly a dark and desperate move in many quarters to return the country to the Old Gods, Traditional Rule and Religion, The Old Politics with Old Philosophies, Ideologies and Practices, including Political Dictatorship, Military Regimentation and Forces of Social Destabilization. Thus, apart from challenges posed by tribal gods, customs and rites, chieftaincy has become a volatile institution threatening social cohesion and political stability of the nation state.
At the Religion Gate, there is not only confusion as to the truth, knowledge, light and way of God the Creator. Religious tradition would have Ghanaians believe that the religion of all kinds and the worship of all spirits and powers, angels, gods and demons, dwarfs, mermaids, snakes and all creatures is of the one God Creator. The movement of multi-faith has opened the gates wide for satanic deception, oppression, and captivity, human wickedness and manipulation and ultimate Divine wrath and judgement.
At the Political Gate, while we face threat to peace, stable development and progress due to multiplicity of faiths, philosophies and ideologies, we are being invited back to the arena of confrontation of so-called political traditions. The truth is that the tradition forces of chieftaincy, the philosophies and ideologies of political parties and the parties themselves proved incapable of confronting the spiritual, religio-political forces of captivity, reproach and social desolation. Thus, it took special Divine intervention, purposeful action and mighty works in the Christ reconciliation, deliverance and redemption battles to liberate nation and people from the Satan-Man oppression and kingdom order.
Today, Ghana is Free and has become an oasis and beacon of Christ Victory and God Kingdom Order of Peace and Righteousness, Stability, Joy and Hope in Africa. Ghana has been restored as Christian Nation, a Nation and People of Trust and Hope in the Worship of God the Creator. Ghana is now blessed and is shining as star nation and people of God in Africa.
Notwithstanding this clear incontrovertible glorious works of God and the resultant glorious standing of Ghana, there is rising a movement for the return to the tradition of the Old Order.
Today, we are hearing of the old cries and War Drums of Chieftaincy and Tradition in governance, the aggressive stance of the former Political groups, the so-called Nkrumah-CPP, Danquah-Busia, Rawlings-(P)NDC traditions to gain power and of Multi-Faith and Multi-headed, religio-political conundrum for social integration and nation building.
In view of the pervading force of the rejection of God and His Christ in the worship of Knowledge, Money and Power in to-day’s world order, some may not care to resort to alliance with foreign forces and enemies of Ghana and Africa to gain power and control of the resources and destiny of the country.
It goes without saying that the Old Ways of Tradition at the domestic level integrated with religio-political, philosophical and financial alliances with external forces in the Satan-Man kingdom world order will hinder the building and establishment and flourishing of the new Ghana as star nation and people of God The Creator and Hope of Africa, and Hope of God for the nations and the human race.
While we accept that there are possibilities with transformation with spiritual and social re-ordering, we declare that return to tradition will send the nation back to the doldrums of political confusion, economic destabilization and social malaise because of the inherent provocation of the wrath and judgment involved and the ultimate turning of the nation away from blessedness, destiny and glory designed and bestowed on her by the Most High God, Jehovah!
We are fully persuaded that Jehovah GOD will not leave Ghana to drift back unto Satan oppression and the Tradition of Men, Spirits and Powers of darkness.
O People of Ghana let us resist tradition and the old ways of our fathers. We have suffered long enough. Let us cherish the Salvation and Redemption and Hope in the Worship of God only.
It is time for a new bottle for the new wine to build and structure the new Ghana, given the new name, The New Jerusalem by the Almighty God Himself. The New Ghana must be constructed and established in the knowledge, law, light, liberty and way of God the Creator. Ghana must be built and will forever stand in GOD Kingdom Order of Peace, Righteousness, Godliness and the Arm and Security of God the Creator.
THERE IS ONLY ONE GOD. Amen!
