CONNECTIVITY AND DILIGENCE (Part 1)

Series:

THEME: DIVINE CONNECTIVITY: THE SOLE SOURCE OF LIFE AND MINISTRY

How great is our God Jehovah, Creator of heaven and earth! Greetings to the reading public, and to the present and future generations of mankind. God the Creator, who has revealed Himself in His Son Jesus Christ, is calling His creation back unto fellowship, sustaining spirit, and eternal life.

The Tree of Life from which man has been banned (Gen. 3: 22-24), is now open and accessible to all men who will respond to the heavenly invitation and call for repentance, reconciliation, redemption, and restoration. Peace, righteousness, joy, hope, and eternal life will follow.

“And this is eternal life, that they (men) may know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You (Father) has sent.” (John 17:3 NKJV).

Knowing the true God implies repentance, reconciliation, and reconnection with Him through faith in the Son, Jesus Christ who is The Word by whom, through whom, and for whom all things were created (John 3: 16; John 1: 1-4; Col. 1: 16-17). Truly, Christ Jesus is The Spirit of Life and Light of man. Reconciliation with the Creator—salvation and deliverance from sin, death, and Satan, regeneration and redemption from the human fallen nature, weakness, and powerlessness is the Divine package in the Father through faith in Christ. Also, there is victory over death and Satan and host of spirits and powers, access to the Tree of Life and Hope in rise in Glory for the human soul-spirit. These and more are possible and available only in Jesus Christ, Son of the Living God.

That is to say, neither Lucifer, Michael, Gabriel, nor any angel; neither Adam and Eve nor Abraham, Moses, and David; neither any spirit nor human agency—prophet or apostle, king or queen, or wise;  neither philosophers nor scientists—can offer the spirit of life, power, and glory found in the permanent, holy, and eternal divine nature of the Creator.

Man, in the true and strict sense, is an adjunct entity and spirit-being of God. Hence, man—created in the image of God—is dependent on his divine connection for life. A break and separation in connection is death. Only Jesus can bring restoration, resurrection, and eternal life.

That is why the Bible declares categorically that only Jesus Christ can save. Only Jesus can raise from the dead, make reconnection possible, and grant access to the Tree of Life.  Jesus is the open door and way to the Tree of Life.  In fact, Jesus Christ is the Tree of Life. Only He has authority, power and right to open the door of reconciliation, peace, eternal life, and glory to man.  Accordingly, He has no apology to render to anyone when He declares “I Am the way, the truth and the life.  no man cometh to the father but by me” (John 14:6). “I Am the door, if anyone enters by me, he will be saved, and will go in and out and find pasture” (John 10:9).

Again, He says

“I am the resurrection and the life.  He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live. And whoever lives and believes in Me shall never die.” (John 11: 25-26 NKJV)

“For as the Father has life in Himself, so He has granted the Son to have life in Himself.” (John 5: 26 NKJV)

The divine nature, power, authority, and glory revealed in Jesus Christ gives credence not only to the fact that He is the way, truth, and life of the Divine nature of eternal glory but also, He is in reality the open door to the father, the only true God and Eternal Life. To believe, find, know, and establish relationship and dynamic, effective, and abiding fellowship with Jesus Christ is the sure way to the Father, Eternal Life, and Glory in the divine nature of Jehovah God unto eternity. From the above, it can be easily understood and appreciated the critical need for connectivity with Jesus Christ—the Spirit of Life and Light, Salvation, Redemption, Regeneration, and Resurrection, Perfection and Glorification in the divine nature for all men, for all peoples. Amen!!

The Bible reveals in this connection that Jesus Christ is the Word of God and God Divine Nature manifested in the flesh (John 1: 1-4, 14-16; 1st Tim. 3: 16).  It is through Him that all find the True God and are Born Again (regenerated and reconnected) by His Spirit operation. The Born Again enter into divine abundant life through the impartation of Christ’s own Divine Nature, Graces, and Glory (John 1: 11-17; 10: 9-10; 2nd Corinthians 3: 18).

Now, connection with Jesus Christ on the other hand comes with belief in the truth of the Gospel preached, which declares that Jesus is the only Saviour and Redeemer, yea the only way of salvation, redemption, eternal life, and hope of glory for man. (John 3: 16; Acts 16: 31; 4: 12; Romans 8: 1-4, 28-30; Colossians 1: 12-28; 1st John 3: 1-2). Christ Jesus has attained this position of Eternal Glory based not alone on His Divine position as Son, The Word, and Spirit of Life, Light, and Creative Power of God but also, and very important at that on the basis of the sacrifice of his blood and life on the cross for atonement, the remission of sin, and redemption of man.

Jesus confirmed His glorious standing as Son, Saviour, and Redeemer in the Spirit of Love and passion, obedience, humility, sacrifice, and diligence through and through. There is a lesson here:  The scriptures reveal that though He was and is Son, Christ did not cling to His sonship to devise, order, pursue, and establish His own earthly agenda. He did not seek to promote His sonship, will, and personal advantage and glory (Matthew 4: 4-11).  Again, He did not seek to demonstrate and promote His authority and power, government, and Kingdom on earth on His own terms and for His glory as such.  In all things from beginning to end, He submitted to maintain His connection with the Father He worked beside the Father and on lines designed, dictated, and directed by the Father. Amen!

“Do you not believe that I am in the Father, and the Father in Me? The words that I speak to you I do not speak on My own authority; but the Father who dwells in Me does the works.  Believe Me that I am in the Father and the Father in Me, or else believe Me for the sake of the works themselves.” (John 14: 10-11 NKJV)

As I see the Father work, so worketh I. This is simple; It is sound, humble, and dynamic connectivity. He came to do the Father’s will not His own.

That apart, Jesus as Son with the Divine power of His own submitted to BAPTISM, ANOINTING and CONNECTION with the HOLY SPIRIT for His mission, ministry and works.  In fact, He maintained REGULAR CONSULTATION with and sought STRENGTH, GRACE and MERCY from the Father through constant and consistent prayers and submission to Him.  The Bible describes this deep spiritual matter in simple terms.  Though He was a Son, He served in the fashion of a SERVANT UNTO DEATH. (Phil. 2: 6-8)

We will conclude by simply stating that Jesus was diligent in His connection and service of the Father and the pursuit of His mission with LOVE, PASSION and SACRIFICE, HUMILITY, OBEDIENCE, DEDICATION and DILIGENCE.  He cherished, maintained and glorified His connection with His Father.

“Father, I thank You that You have heard Me. And I know that You always hear Me, but because of the people who are standing by I said this, that they may believe that You sent Me.” (John 11: 41b – 42 NKJV)

This is the spirit of Holiness, Righteousness and Servanthood in action. We write this piece on the prompting of the Master. Today, there is not only deep disconnect in the church between the church and Jesus Christ, the Master and the Triune God, there is even a very high degree of human projection, self-promotion, self-gratification, and self-glorification in the church on lines similar to worldly standards and conduct. Many Apostle and Prophet, many Bishop, Clergy and even Laity have turned their back to Christ, the Word of God, and the Holy Spirit in church mission, church governance, ministry, and life.

The doctrines of devils and men—human philosophies, theories, and ideas—have replaced the Truth, the true counsel of God, and the Holy Spirit Ministry in many churches. Human spirit power, knowledge, wisdom, understanding, human philosophies, and scientific findings, social theories and psychological props have assumed high ground in theological propositions, church doctrines and church practice.

In this process, man and money have replaced God; gain has replaced godliness, and human theories have replaced the Truth and Righteousness of God. The Kingdom of God now being preached is the kingdom of man, money, and power and its righteousness of observance and practice of winning ways, success principles and strategies, faith-miracle claims and dominion plans, graven images and works of men and all, to gain power and goodies of the worldly kingdom order and its glory. (Matthew 4: 8-9).

These latter developments constitute a major factor in the falling away, falling standards, works of darkness of spirits, and consequent fallen image of the Church today.  We shall address these issues in the next installment.
