THEY CRUCIFY CHRIST AFRESH; THEY MAKE NONSENSE AND MOCKERY OF DIVINE INTERVENTION
THEME: THE CONFLICT BETWEEN DIVINE GOVERNANCE AND OCCULTIC/IMPERIALIST SUBJUGATION
Ghana, our beloved country, chosen nation of God, is in deep lamentation. She is at war with herself. Politics in Ghana is now bedevilled with rancor, lies, falsehood, insults, flattery, and uncertainty. On the religious side, the Church has been inundated with lawlessness. As a result, the Church, the Government, and the People are confused about the way forward for the nation.
Essentially, this is because the Divine intervention in the deliverance of country from ‘Satan-man’ wicked order—characterized by political tyranny, militarized political regimentation, economic stagnation, and foreign imperialist domination, and control—is being overturned at the altar of conscienceless, rudderless politico-religio liberalism and the abuse of democratic liberties and political party, government and state power.
At the same time, the Church and religious world in Ghana is littered with falsehood, lying signs and wonders, and religious ‘game-playing.’ It is marked by hypocrisy, flattery, violence, and outright wickedness. Men and women in spurious robes tread profusely with daggers as it were under their clothes to rob, steal, kill, and destroy. Both business and human life have become ‘challenged species’ in a nation supposed to be witnessing fast growth. Of course, growth based on investment in capital stock, machines, and related investments in the oil industry and mining cannot—and may well not—guarantee or translate into broad-based rising incomes, consumption, and employment.
Meanwhile, the country has become the theatre of post-Cold War imperialist wrangles. There is now war between Euro-America and China-Korea (the Asian giants) for the wealth, treasures, and control of the destiny of the country. The wealth, resources, and destiny of the country are being mortgaged at the altar of politics and in the name of ‘development’ and ‘governance.’
Ghana is building up a hefty debt burden and eventual crisis in a shaking balancing act with loans from the West (Euro-America cum IMF/World Bank) and the East (China, Korea and others). Meanwhile, there is no definite, concrete, acceptable, or agreed-upon development plan to guide the heavy loans. This is unrighteous if not dishonesty.
To be sure, the Euro-America donor economies are themselves ‘challenged species,’ facing as they are mounting debt crises and crumpling pillars of economic buoyancy. On the other hand, the Asia giants, (China, Korea and others) are young, developed economies with their feet strutted in part in the failing Euro-America economies. Will Africa be the buffer zone for these fallen, struggling, and growing economies? Will our resources be enrolled again—like they did with Africa slave labor was on the plantations—but this time in an “enlightened and independent” Africa?
Ghana and Africa, now preparing grounds for a take-off in development and progress, cannot take on the weight of indebted, weakening Euro-America economies. Ghana-Africa oil, gold, mineral wealth, timber, open arable land, and teeming, aspiring youth and unemployed cannot take on the weight of crumpling or ageing economies of the West and the throbbing and galloping Asian economies.
These are times of sober reflection, visionary leadership, and planning— for open, plain, honest, loyal, and dedicated governance. These are times for God-fearing, honest, and righteous politicians and public servants imbued with love, patience, and hope for the country. These are times for true and honest leadership that can guide nation and people in vision, planning, and judicious use of resources and prudent works that will inspire confidence and hope and make the people participate, work, and wait for good returns.
We need politicians who can wait, learn, and submit to one another for conscious leadership and competent management of national assets—chief of which are the people. This is not the time for young ambitious, poverty-ridden, make-it-quick politicians and technocrats who are still developing skills, knowledge, wisdom, wisdom, and faith in themselves for the life journey to assume the helms of leadership and governance.
We have a lot of them in the church who look upon the ministry and church as an avenue for spiritual and religious power, money, wealth, and fame. Many are neither called nor even sufficiently discipled as Christians, much more to be leaders. There is not space here to speak of the ‘filthy’ people who attempt to mix Christ power in His name and the word of God with satanic-occultic power of deception, seduction, and oppression, deceiving themselves and others that they are of Christ and the Kingdom of God. The Holy Spirit cannot co-exist with fallen angels and demons; darkness cannot withstand light.
Similarly, Ghana cannot be a theatre for the wrangles of satanic and human power against the power of God. God is jealous; He shares His glory with no one!
Furthermore, there are ambitious people who think that education and fortune qualify them to expand their gains and influence in society with ‘regal power,’ parading the corridors of power, chieftaincy, fetish shrines, churches, political parties, and government. These individuals—and many like them—are the dark spots, evil influence, and mischief in the socio-politico-economic development drama, peace, stability, and progress of Ghana/Africa. It is people of these persuasion and wanton activities in Church, Government, and the Nation, in leadership and rulership of the country that are interrupting—and indeed, standing against the holy will, plans, and blessed hands of God in the affairs and destiny of the country. In truth, they are working fast to make nonsense and mockery of divine intervention, healing, redemption, and holy works to establish Ghana as godly nation and people holy unto Himself, ‘’Star of Africa.’
Aside the ideological confrontations, there are elements in politics, leadership, and rulership of the country deeply set against God and God-ordained Ghana.
In defying the will of God for Ghana, the enemies of God and Ghana have resorted to satanic-occultic powers and the consultation of familiar spirits and powers in the sea, waters, forests, hills, and mountains, as well as the application of corrupt and wicked practices—lies, flattery, and evil handed religious and political power operations. Many in politics and business, executive, and professional classes in the land are ‘crucifying Christ afresh.’ They deny the need for the salvation from sin and death, deliverance from satanic deception, molestation, oppression, and dominion. They reject the redemption of peoples, nations, and the human race and world from darkness, death, evil, and damnation, captivity and futility—all of which were dealt an eternal blow on the Cross and in the Resurrection of Jesus Christ.
Simply put, they are in fact and in truth rejecting God, His grace, mercy, His blessed hand, providence, and dwelling place in our nation. They want Ghana to remain in captivity, subjection, and dominion to Satan and few wicked people with whom Satan has entered into alliance or has forcefully conscripted under him and his diabolical host of fallen angels, spirits, powers, gods, and goddesses. Many of such people can sell the riches, wealth, and resources of the nation to spirits, powers, and fellow men, both domestic and foreign. They offer the blood of humans and animals to spirits and powers for power, position, money, and influence.
To these evil men, women, and spirits—evil minded, wicked elders, ambitious youth, academics, politicians and rulers—the knowledge, worship, adoration, and observance of the Will, Law, Light, and Way of God in the nation is not acceptable. They want either to be god themselves and kind or allow Satan to rule the nation. Yet, they forgot that man sold his birthright to Satan long ago in the Garden of Eden.
In both spiritual and practical terms, they are rejecting the Divine intervention in human affairs and the emancipation of Ghana from colonial rule and imperialist domination via the spread of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, growth and expansion of the church in independent Ghana and the Hand of God in delivering the nation from the curse and damnation in idolatry, human sacrifices, and sorcery, witchcraft and the reign and rule of gods, goddesses, and demons in tradition, customs and culture. They reject also Divine intervention in the redemption of country and people from dictatorship, political tyranny, military regimentation, corruption, treachery, and robbery marshaled under the barrel of the gun and satanic powers.
By the way democratic governance is no escape from Satanism, human wickedness, corruption, and tyranny. They care not whether Ghana has peace or not, prospers or not. Above all, they have formed a confederacy to keep Ghana under Satan and the Satan world order of rebellion, disobedience and defiance of God and His Will and Light, Holy Law and Ways. They are enemies of the mercy, peace, stability, providence, joy, and hope that God has brought to the country.
Thanks be to God, He will not abandon His interest in the redemption of man and the nations, and in this wise, His bid for Ghana and Africa. The God of Ghana reigns!
