THEME: BEHOLD, I MAKE ALL THINGS NEW (REV. 21:5) 

PREAMBLE 

Praise ye the Lord! Peace be unto you people of God, children and citizens of Ghana. 

Let us thank God and rejoice over the heritage of His Love, in His establishing our country as a Nation and People of God. What we have become is the Heritage of God in Africa.  Hallelujah! 

WHAT A HERITAGE! 

Let us thank, praise and worship God with special meaning and zeal for His Love, Goodness, Mercy, and Blessedness bestowed upon our country. Let us rejoice together over this. Hallelujah! 

Over the past two days of the ‘Festival of Celebration of God’s Love,’ the Spirit of God took trouble to relate to the Holy Gatherings the Creator’s heaven-ordained, designed, ordered, and established NEW THING for nation and people of Ghana, and all of Africa. 

The said ‘New Thing’ has been preceded by Divine Act of Reconciliation, Redemption, Restoration, Marriage, and Establishment of Ghana as a Nation and People of God’s Inheritance, Government, and Kingdom Glory, Reign, and Rule in Africa and the world.  Ghana has been given the name BEULAH—signifying the redemption, marriage, and establishment of the nation as a nation and people of God, as Crown of Glory and a Royal Diadem in Africa and the world for God and His Christ. 

To be sure, the fullness of the ‘New Thing’ is yet to emerge. Indeed, yesterday, the Day of Government, Institutional, Corporate Ghana, and Civil Society Day at the festival marked the launching of the ‘New Thing.’  Yesterday was described as ‘NEW DAY: NEW THING’ Day.  There was indeed glorious celebration yesterday. 

THE NEW THING  

The vision of “The New Thing” is destined to be ushered into reality in Ghana through Christ (Messianic) Redemption, Government, and Kingdom Mission in the nations for the Father’s Reign, and Rule of the country (Isaiah 9:6-7; 42: 1-12). Christ’s Government and Kingdom order is to be established upon His shoulders, that is with His Church people. It is for this reason Christ has appointed the church to serve as Kings and Priests for the Father’s reign and rule through Him on earth (Revelation 1:6; 5: 9-10; Ephesians 1: 10; 1st Corinthians 15: 24-28; Revelation 11:15). 

The Spirit of God made it clear that the “New Thing” has been ordered and established already in the spirit by Christ, declaring Ghana as a Christian Nation for His Government and Kingdom Glory Order in Africa and the world. 

As mentioned on the Church Day last Wednesday, this is a heaven ordained vision and mission set in place by the Father and the Triune God. The vision and related action are of the Father’s own counsel, authority, and power. Accordingly, the church in Ghana in particular, and the government, nation, and people of Ghana in general have no option but to accept, receive, acknowledge, honor, and glorify God in positive response to God’s Love, Grace, Goodness, and Glory bestowed upon our nation, yes upon us as His people. 

Thus, the first two days of the festival brought revelation and understanding of the vision, mission, and nature of the “New Thing” in Ghana. The New Thing was launched in fact with faithful and positive response by the church gathered on the day for and on behalf of the Church, the government, the nation, and people. 

Today, the third and final day of the festival is devoted to the youth and future generations of the country. We have dubbed today, the Youth and Future Generations Day as THE HERITAGE DAY. We expect the Youth Day to witness the celebration of the “NEW THING,” the heritage of God bestowed upon the country. 

TODAY IS HERITAGE CELEBRATION DAY 

Let us rejoice, thank, and bless the Lord God Most High and the Lord Jesus Christ for Holy Acts of Goodness, Mercy, and Blessing upon our country. 

INTRODUCTION 

Beloved, we have a HERITAGE OF DIVINE NEW THNG which the Youth and the Future Generations of Ghana have to enter into, hold, cherish, and treat as the foundation, premise, and platform for works of development, progress, and prosperity. At the personal level, as well as within government, institutions, enterprise, and civil society, nation, and people, life and conduct in the country will be based on this great platform of God’s Love and Blessing upon Ghana. 

We are being called upon—as Youth of today—not just to accept the Divine Heritage New Thing as our blessing, but more so to accept full responsibility for the translation and establishment of the ‘New Thing’— heaven-ordained and ordered, for it to become a true, effectual, and glorious reality in the country.  

Indeed, we, the Youth of today, are the current blessed beneficial “start-up generation” of The Divine Heritage New Thing of Christian Nation, Government, and God Kingdom Glory Ghana under Christ Jesus: the Lord and Master, King of kings, and Lord of lords. That is to say, it is we, the youth of this hour, that will and must make the heaven-ordained, ordered, and established “New Thing” real. This is the charge we have to keep. This is the understanding and spirit in which we celebrate God’s Love for Ghana today and forever. This is the platform for determining our lives and our destinies, our efforts, enterprises, and all in the worship and service of God, church, nation, and people. If we have any vision and plans for our lives and Ghana, THIS IS IT. 

The scripture the Lord gave me for brief deliberation today is Psalm 119:10-12 

“With my whole heart have I sought Thee: O let me not wander from Thy commandments. Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against Thee. Blessed art Thou, O LORD:  teach me Thy statutes.”  

The scripture conveys a state of deep conviction regarding the critical and crucial place of God and the Word of God in young man and young woman’s life.   

Psalm 119:9 presents the background “Where shall a young man (or young person) cleanse his way?”  The answer, “By taking heed to the Word of God.” 

Now the Word of God is the basis not just of our faith, worship, and lives but also for the Establishment of The Divine Heritage New Thing in all aspects of our lives, the nation, and in all her affairs. The Church is The Family, People, Disciples, Servants, and Soldiers, Kings, and Priests for the Heaven Kingdom Order of Christian nation and Christ’s Government and Kingdom order in our country, Africa and the world. 

Thus, the first and important step is acceptance, acknowledgment, and readiness for the Divine Heritage New Thing. The Spirit directs us in verse 10, towards a wholehearted acceptance of the Divine order and commandments concerning “The New Thing.” 

The second truth and reality is the possible departure from the Word of God that leads the people of God astray. Therefore, Youth, the secret is: HIDE THE WORD OF GOD IN YOUR HEART—the source of all decisions and acts of men. 

The third proposition in verse 12 demands, Blessing, Thanking, and Praising God for the Divine Heritage New Thing. 

Open your heart, spirit, and mind to the Heritage New Thing enterprise in the nation for your life—yes for our lives, we the youth of Ghana. Learning, Knowing, Accepting, Understanding, Moving, and Leaning on the Word and Counsel of God is the highest and glorious demonstration of the love we have for God, our country and our people. 

Consider verse 14 

“I have rejoiced in the way of Thy testimony as much as in all riches” 

Verse 15 

 I will meditate in Thy precepts, and have respect unto Thy ways.  

(Note: The place, power, and hope in God and the Word of God is the litmus test for our lives) 

People of God, Youth of Ghana: we have a mission, a charge, a duty towards Ghana today and tomorrow.  LET US GO AT IT!
