THE GOLDEN GATE

Series:

SERMON INSIGHTS

The Vision of the Open Door and Crowns of Glory

Central Spiritual Truth: The opening of the golden gates signifies a divine invitation to receive crowns of glory prepared for those who pursue the Father’s kingdom.

  • We must thank God for the joy of fellowship with the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit that began when the golden gates of divine glory were flung open. This opening event introduced us to the reality of the crowns of divine glory that are waiting for the children and servants of God.
  • These rewards follow the specific commission and works of Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit as they seek to establish the Father’s reign on earth. It was a blessed and memorable occasion that set the stage for understanding our high calling in this season.
  • You should realize that the kingdoms of this world are becoming the kingdoms of our God and of His Christ. This transition is not just a hope but a spiritual reality that is unfolding as we follow the path set before us.
  • The open door of divine glory is the prime objective for our service, mirroring the order of the twelve tribes of Israel and the twelve golden gates of the city of God. This structure provides a roadmap for our spiritual journey and the service we owe to the Almighty.
  • Scripture Reference: “The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever.” (Revelation 11:15).

Navigating the Challenges of the Master’s Service

Central Spiritual Truth: Following Christ requires traversing difficult terrains, as the servant is never greater than the Master who suffered for the mission.

  • The Christian calling is filled with many challenges, including the lust of the eyes, the lust of the flesh, and the pride of life. While these are common burdens, we are called to look beyond them to the specific mission God has assigned to us.
  • You will encounter mountains to climb and deep valleys to traverse as you remain in the Master’s service. These obstacles are part of the “Golden Gate Highway” where you will meet both destruction and the sustaining grace of God.
  • We must remember that the Lord warned the church that the servant is no greater than his lord. Since the Master ended His earthly journey with sacrifice, we should not expect a path devoid of trials or suffering.
  • In the pursuit of the Father’s kingdom order, you may face threats to your life and heavy burdens that seem impossible to carry. However, these challenges are the very places where the power and glory of God are most clearly revealed.
  • Scripture Reference: “The servant is not greater than his lord. If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you.” (John 15:20).

The Primary Mission: The Kingdom Over Miracles

Central Spiritual Truth: While healing and deliverance are important, the central message and mission of Christ is the establishment of the Kingdom of God.

  • It is a mistake to think that salvation, healing, and deliverance were the only components of the mission message. While we are given power to heal diseases and cast out demons, the major mission remains the establishment of the kingdom.
  • In the accounts of Matthew and Luke, we see that the authority to cast out spirits is a tool, but the focus must remain on the rock of revelation. This revelation is the confession that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of the living God.
  • Upon this rock, this specific declaration and revelation, Christ promised to build His church. If we all agree on this truth, we are accepted into the divine order that God is establishing on the earth today.
  • We must be wary of satanic ploys, such as the idea that one can belong to the church without accepting that Jesus Christ is Lord. Such compromises undermine the prime objective of our high calling and the service we are meant to perform.
  • Scripture Reference: “And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.” (Matthew 16:18).

 Exhortations and Calls to Action

Central Spiritual Truth: You must remain steadfast on the Golden Gate Highway, prioritizing the Kingdom mission above all worldly distractions.

  • Seek the Kingdom First: I urge you to focus your life and service on the kingdom of God rather than just seeking miracles or personal breakthroughs.
  • Prepare for Trials: Understand that your journey will include mountains and valleys, and be ready to meet both destruction and grace with faith.
  • Stand on Revelation: Base your faith on the solid rock of the revelation that Jesus is the Christ, refusing to be swayed by modern “satanic ploys.”
  • Accept Your Identity: Embrace your role in the new order that follows the pattern of the twelve golden gates and the twelve tribes.
  • Persist in Fellowship: Continue in the joy of fellowship with the Trinity, knowing that the golden gates remain open for the faithful.
  • Scripture Reference: “But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.” (Matthew 6:33).

Closing Prayer of Dedication

Central Spiritual Truth: Total commitment to the Father’s Kingdom order leads to the fulfillment of the divine reign on earth.

  • Father, we thank You for the grace to walk this Golden Gate Highway and for the revelation of Your coming kingdom. We dedicate our lives to the pursuit of Your reign and rule, asking that You keep us faithful through every mountain and valley.
  • May Your church be built upon the true rock of revelation, standing strong against the gates of hell. We look forward to the crowns of glory and the fulfillment of Your mission in this nation and throughout the world.
  • Scripture Reference: “Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.” (Matthew 6:10).
