THE WAR IN IRAQ MUST END!-1
THEME: GLOBAL POWERS MUST INTERVENE TO END THE WAR’S DEVASTATION
It’s time for the war in Iraq to end. We appeal to the United Nations to take this up and save Iraq, al Qa’ida and the US from this endless and fruitless bloodshed, financial outlay and hopeless adventure in ideological and religious campaigns. The cost of the war has shattered US political economy with heavy national debt, political divisions and estranged White House uncertain Capitol Hill, beleaguered army, confused and helpless citizenry.
The Al-Qaeda financial base and human resource base however buoyant cannot continue indefinitely to be an inadvertent partner to the United States in shattering the political economy, sovereignty, stability, progress and people Iraq.
In any case, how much blood and death toll will satisfy the roaring lions, the preying and ravenous eagles and stumping bears of so-called pre-emptive war.
Is it not a travesty of justice and the logic of war that the sovereignty, peace, wealth and progress of a nation and the lives, safety, security and well-being of her peoples can be commandeered and abused raped and rendered forsaken and desolate in the full view of the so-called civilized world and the United Nations.
America has declared war against a sovereign country, occupied her territory, virtually imposed a government on the people and has lost no conscience in imposing so-called benchmarks of performance for the power-strapped government.
Meanwhile, Al-Qaeda is doing its utmost to render the government impotent with bombs and intrigues.
America bewildered by the heavy financial cost, going onto one trillion dollars and the loss of lives some 3,000 dead and thousands more sick and dying, growing frustration and confusion as to the way out is hanging on the ditch stuck or is its lame duck policy of “RETURN ON SUCCESS”.
In short, America has declared “No Exit” to occupation. Al-Qaeda on the other hand does seem to be in no mood to ending the devastation in the bid to plummet the conscience and good sense of America.
The military and political limbo of America defies and indeed downgrades any sense of pride and dignity of the America’s political process. It makes nonsense of the claims of people’s power and governance in democracy. For example, can any group of people hijack the America’s political machine and render democracy an empty and impotent political ideal. Both America and Al-Qaeda on one hand and the civilized world of East and West and the United Nations on the other hand are faced with dilemmas.
To stop the war and pull out of devastated Iraq faced with a seemingly incapable political machine and government, streets, markets and mosques flooded with blood and graves, and fleeing peoples is the only way open for all, America in particular.
The truth is that America has lost any pretense to being a Redeemer Nation or People of God, Liberty and Democracy. Al-Qaeda on the other h and cannot continue indefinitely to impose pain, hazards and confusion on the people of Iraq and the Islamic Faith because of the intransigence of the USA.
We appeal to Capitol Hill, the European Union and Russia to assist the United Nations to intervene and stop the devastation and desolation and the hopelessness in Iraq and save America, the Al-Qaeda and the world from the dilemma of ill-conceived, dangerous and forsaken pre-emptive war in Iraq.
GOD SAVE IRAQ!
GOD SAVE AMERICA!!
GOD SAVE THE HUMAN RACE!!!
